Until then, let's see what all I learn! --- 12/20/25: Meet Elian ❄️ Elian came to us as a stray from Maryland with little known about his past, but he’s quickly showing us who he is now — a sweet, attentive boy with a big heart. When Elian arrived, he was thin with rough, weathered ears, suggesting a hard start in life. Despite that, he is incredibly lovable and eager to connect. He’s food motivated and enjoys learning, and we’ve recently discovered that he loves playing in the snow — a simple joy that seems to make him truly happy. Elian is looking for a home that will continue to show him kindness, warmth, and stability, and help him leave his rough beginnings behind.

Until then, let's see what all I learn! --- 1/4/26: Meet Gustaf! 🐾 Gustaf is a handsome, energetic boy who recently joined our rescue as a transfer from another shelter. He originally came in as a stray, but it didn’t take long for his fun-loving personality to shine through. About 2 years old and weighing around 75 pounds, Gustaf is a big, athletic dog with lots of youthful enthusiasm. One of Gustaf’s favorite things in the world is playing ball—he’s always ready for a game and would love an active home that can keep up with his energy. He’s pleasant and friendly with people, enjoying attention and companionship from his human friends. As a young, energetic dog, Gustaf will benefit from obedience training to help him polish his manners and channel his energy in positive ways. With consistency, structure, and plenty of exercise, he has all the potential to become an amazing companion. Nova is very smart and full of energy, thriving when she has both mental and physical outlets. She absolutely loves to play—whether it’s fetching a ball, a game of tug-of-war, or chasing a frisbee, Nova is always up for fun and activity. Because of her age and energy level, Nova will do best with a family committed to obedience training to help her work on her manners and continue building her skills. With structure, consistency, and plenty of playtime, Nova will shine and make an amazing companion.
