Story

Sora is a sweet, intelligent, and active girl. She loves being petted and playing fetch. She will play fetch until she is tired and will then try to hide or bury the ball. She loves her puzzle toy where you put other toys inside and she figures out how to get them out. She figured out how to get under our fence until we blocked it each time. Then she figured out how to jump and climb over our 4-foot fence. All of the neighbors love her and would bring her back when she escaped. She always came back home. for a while we didn't know she was escaping because was always in the yard when we got home but there were random plastic toys in the yard. She loves to steal plastic toys from the neighbors, bring them home, and chew them up. She is super smart and always wanting to please. She would do great with a job and intellectual stimulation. We are gone too much and can't provide the attention and stimulation she needs. She is clam and does well in her crate inside the house for bedtime.

Meet Sophie! Sophie is a sweet, playful girl looking for a new home where she can be the star of the show. She is a Pit Bull / Jack Russell mix, about 35 pounds, with a white coat, orange ears and markings, and freckles on her belly. She is female, spayed, and up to date on all of her shots. Sophie loves people and is very sweet with them. Her favorite thing is playing fetch — from the minute she gets up and from the minute you get home, she will bring you her ball again and again. She happily goes into her crate when you leave, as long as you give her a bye-bye treat, and when home she looks you in the eye when she needs to go outside. She learns extremely quickly, including "back up" and "I can't reach it." She is very snuggly in bed and on the sofa after fetch. She has a lot of energy and needs an active home with a fenced backyard. Because she does best on her own, she needs to be the only dog in her new home.

Markie is a cute little guy with a big attitude and seems to love everyone. He came in with several other small dogs and seems to have had a rough time recently based on hair condition etc,,, but whatever happened it didn't adversely affect his attitude toward humans or other small dogs. he's a happy go lucky little fella. He had the energy of a youngster but our vet thinks he's likely about 10 years old None of this group is the least bit interested in sitting quietly for photos,,, so please excuse the poor results of our recent photo shoot. ,,,, Molly is the typical cream or light blond Peke. Her coat looked like she's had it rough for awhile, but that has improved with time and good food. And she loves food. She's a real sweet girl who came to us blind and after checking with our vet, it was determined that while she had no vision, her eyes weren't bothering her at all, so we just left well enough alone. She adapts well to new surroundings and has been remarkable in her ability to wander around amongst other small dogs and just find her way without any problem. Blindness is totally different for dogs than we humans think it would be,,,, vision isn't the sense they depend on most... She has developed a heighten sense of smell I guess,,, and can notice a hot dog treat at quite a distance! March 12, 2026, 12:29 pm
