Story
Markie is a cute little guy with a big attitude and seems to love everyone.  He came in with several other small dogs and seems to have had a rough time recently based on hair condition etc,,, but whatever happened it didn't adversely affect his attitude toward humans or other small dogs.  he's a happy go lucky little fella.  He had the energy of a youngster but our vet thinks he's likely about 10 years old None of  this group is the least bit interested in sitting quietly for photos,,, so please excuse the poor results of our recent photo shoot.  June 16, 2026, 12:17 am

Story
,,,, Molly is the typical cream or light blond Peke.  Her coat looked like she's had it rough for awhile, but that has improved with time and good food.  And she loves food.   She's a real sweet girl who came to us blind and after checking with our vet, it was determined that while she had no vision, her eyes weren't bothering her at all, so we just left well enough alone. She adapts well to new surroundings and has been remarkable in her ability to wander around amongst other small dogs and just find her way without any problem.  Blindness is totally different for dogs than we humans think it would be,,,, vision isn't the sense they depend on most... She has developed a heighten sense of smell I guess,,, and can notice a hot dog treat at quite a distance! March 12, 2026, 12:29 pm

Story
🚀 Meet Rocket — or maybe we should call him Rocky! 🥊 This tiny 5-pound bundle of energy has two speeds: full throttle and completely crashed out! Rocket got his name honestly — he bounces around on his front feet like he’s training for the championship, just like Rocky Balboa. One minute he’s zooming around like a wild little squirrel, and the next he’s passed out cold for a nap (especially if you sit down and give him a cuddle). Rocket is doing amazing with potty training — he’s peeing and pooping outside and sleeps through the night in his kennel like a champ. In fact, he LOVES his kennel and usually tucks himself in for “nite nite” around 9–10 PM. Don’t let his tiny size fool you — Rocket is a fierce little watchdog and will protect his people with all 5 pounds of his mighty mouse body! He gets along great with other dogs, from playful pitties to senior pups, and is learning that kids can be fun too, even if they’re a little loud and fast for his liking. This sweet boy has a big appetite, a goofy personality, and some hilarious habits — like stealing little cat toys and hiding them in his bed, or carrying his food bowl back to bed after dinner. But his favorite thing in the world? Snuggling deep into the bend of your neck and soaking up all the love. Rocket is equal parts comedy, cuddles, and chaos — and he’s looking for a forever home that will love him for exactly who he is. ❤️
