Story
Cassie was left with my daughter by an acquaintance supposedly for two weeks in early December 2025. Then the acquaintance left town. Cassie has won our hearts with her sweet and smart disposition. She is very gentle affectionate and relaxed. Cassie is about one year old and weighs 90 lbs. She has now been spayed, her shots are up to date and she is at a three week training facility (ending February 27), learning basic skills like coming on command, staying, and walking on leash. Cassie loves stuffed animals and playing fetch. I am 78 years old and live in a third floor apartment. While I have come to love this wonderful dog, she is too big for me at my age in my living situation. I would be happy to bring her to a new home, near or far. Please adopt Cassie—she deserves a great home!

Story
I bought Candy in 2016 when she was 6-8 weeks old. According to the breeder, she was born on 11/30/2016. We have been together since then and it's been over 9 years. Mini Schnauzers can be high maintenance (teeth, haircuts, nails, ears). She is still very active with no health issues as far as I can tell. She is very alarmed and protective. She will bark whenever she senses someone at the doors or a stranger in the house. She is very sweet and loyal. She is not super needy or clingy but likes to be around you. I hope the new owner has the time and financial resources (since she is getting old) to take care of her. She warms up to people very slowly. Therefore, I hope the new owner is willing to work with us to slowly get to know her. We can arrange public visits, home visits, and perhaps dog sits before the actual adoption. I want her to feel safe and welcomed in the new home. This is a very hard decision and I hope I can find her a responsible and caring home.

Story
At ten years old, Puppy is a "professional companion" who has mastered the art of the nap. A Wiener/Minpin mix, he’s officially traded high energy for the cozy life—specifically, napping as close to your face as possible. He’s a sensitive, sweet soul who thrives on being near his people, usually burrowed under a blanket in one of his favorite sweaters. While he’s highly motivated by snacks (he’ll be your shadow the second the fridge opens), his real goal is just to be part of the pack. He’s incredibly chill with kids and has been best friends with Gypsy for years. He’s a bit intimidated by cats, but he’s the type to just give them their space and find a lap instead. Puppy is fixed and UTD on shots. He’s mostly house-trained, though he has a bit of an "anxious bladder" if things get stressful. Overall, he’s just a gentle, loyal, and low-maintenance little guy who wants nothing more than a warm sweater and a spot on the couch next to you.

Story
Frankie is a handsome 1 year old bull terrier (born Dec 2024) looking for a loving home. He is housetrained, crate trained, knows basic commands (sit, down, wait), does well on walks, and is eager to please and learn. He bonds very closely with his adult people and would do best with someone who has bull terrier experience and a solid understanding of the breed. He is my velcro dog, always with me. We all love him very much but unfortunately, he is very uncomfortable and nervous around children which is why we need to find him a new home as we have 2 kids and he has growled at them. He needs an adult-only home where he can feel safe and relaxed. Asking $100 rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a committed and loving home. If you're interested, I'd love to share more about him.
