Story
Loki is a fantastic dog. We are moving out of state with family and cannot bring him so it breaks our hearts to rehome him. He is gentle and loving, just wants a place to snuggle. He loves treats and knows how to sit but knows no other tricks. Very calm and well mannerd. Barks at delivery men. Fully house trained. Does get car-sick.

Story
Moxie is a purebred Great Pyrenees. She is in a loving home and has been well cared for. She is typical of the breed and does bark a fair amount. We need to find her a new home because she does not get along with our brother/sister Wheaten Terriers at times. She does get along with our Poodle, however. She will probably do best in an environment where she can work as she likes to protect her people and her land. We love her very much but she is still a young dog and our Wheatens are 10 and need more space.

Story
Molly is 9 years old and great with our other dog and kiddos. She started having seizures every time we have boarded her or taken her somewhere new in her old age as she gets nervous. Outside of that’s she’s an amazing dog but we need to rehome her because we are moving. We have two dogs if you’re interested in taking both! They’re up to date on shots, sleep with our kids every night and are inside dogs. We’d love for them to have a yard and family that she can enjoy!

Story
Maggie is 5 years old and the best dog we’ve ever had! She loves our kids, sleeps with them every night and has the best temperament. Shes laid back, playful, patient and just a sweetheart. We’re moving and need to rehome both of our dogs. We’d love to keep them together if possible but understand if that isn’t realistic. We would love for her to live in a home where she can have a yard to play and be loved on.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Cricket has an aristocratic way about him. Though young (1 1/2 ), when meeting folks, he doesn’t muss their clothes or slather them with his tongue. There is a specialcharm about him. And though he is clearly hound, he is laid-back and quiet. If you show him a comfy crate, he goes in without even being asked. He has a slight but athletic build that he puts to good use when he plays cat-like with a ball or toy, all by himself. Though cricket is typical hound height, he only weighs about 40 lbs. He behaves reasonably on a leash and is generally agreeable with other dogs. This boy is slightly timid at first but quickly warms up. He will likely do well in a non-chaotic household. It is easy to imagine him lying in front of a wood burning stove in the winter or leaping after butterflies in the summer.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    February 22, 2024, 5:50 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   3-year-old Ryker, the Blood Hound/Walker mix, wants to be your hiking/running companion. After an active summer day, he’d love to hang out on the porch with you, or on a snowy night curl up in front of a wood burning stove as you read a book. Ryker likes everyone he meets and seems interested in making friends with other dogs. He did not seem inclined to bother the confined cats he met at our facility. This boy likes to talk and is good at giving alerts. He also has been known to sing a hounds’ song from time to time. He is full of verve and personality. It’s hard to resist stroking Ryker’s long suede ears, and though he came in thin as a rail (45lbs), he has gained enough weight (still gaining) to show his handsome hound physique. His deep black, rich brown, crisp white coat glimmers with health as he runs in the sun enjoying life. Ryker will do best with active folks who love the exuberance of hounds, who like dogs with voices. He will excel with people who enjoy bringing out the best in a dog. Ryker has fabulous southern charm that can’t be taught—he was born with it. Please fill out our online application if you want to add a happy hound personality to your home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    February 22, 2024, 5:50 am
