Story
Jasper is a 3.5 year old male Great Pyrenees and we adopted him 2 years ago at Great Pyrenees rescue Atlanta. He is energetic and playful, he will do great at a family with a large backyard, with no other dog and young children(but he does awesome with teenagers! He isn’t aggressive to young children, it’s just that he is 140lbs, younger children don’t bare his force well during play). We found out that he has addison’s disease and is getting percorten V injection every month to keep him in a healthy condition, the continuing medical expenses should be carefully considered for anyone who wants to adopt him. Jasper needs an experienced owner, He is potty trained but need consistent behavior training ongoing basis. If you are able to work with him he can be a great companion!

Story
Bella was rescued from a family who were keeping her in the backyard neglectfully without no or very minimum interactions. She scared and very timid when we rescued her to our home. She would not even go to the next room cause she was not allowed anywhere else beside her shade in her previos home. We rescued her a week ago and she is already very playful and open. She does have to be pushed to do new things because she is scared to try new things. After you push her to do it, she quickly adjust and does it by herself the next time. This things happened when she wont even climb the stairs. She goes along very well with my pitbull and is very friendly with new people. She growls when she does not want to go to new place ( cause she kept inside all her life)but she does not bite. She is loving and want attention from people she loves.

Story
Meet Rembrandt, the majestic Great Pyrenees with a soul as deep as the night sky. At four years old, Rembrandt exudes an air of quiet wisdom and solitude, reminiscent of the great artist after whom he is named. While his peers frolic and play, Rembrandt often finds solace in the serenity of his own company, preferring introspection to boisterous antics.Unfortunately, Rembrandt came to the Forsyth County Pet Resource Center heartworm positive, but the good news is that we will provide the necessary treatment for him at no additional cost to you! While Rembrandt is undergoing heartworm treatment, he will be placed in our Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program so that you can start bonding with your new pet and give him a calm place to get better! Heartworm treatment is very safe, and the success rate is high and the Pet Resource Center prefers dogs like Rembrandt to recover in a home with an adopter rather than in a shelter. If you want to learn more about Rembrandt and how the FTA process works, please stop by or call us at 678-965-7185!

She's a big girl, weighing in at 60 pounds, but don't let her size fool you - she's a big puppy at heart! Polly is a bundle of fun and loves nothing more than playing with other dogs and people. Her playful antics are sure to keep you entertained all day long! Her funny personality will have you in stitches as she bounces around with endless enthusiasm. This smart girl is very food-motivated and loves learning new things. With some guidance and training, she'll be the star of any obedience class! She's already crate-trained, so you won't have to worry about that. But be warned - she's so lovable, you might find it hard to say no to those puppy dog eyes! Polly loves walks and car rides, so you'll enjoy exploring the great outdoors together. With her by your side, every day is an adventure waiting to happen. Story
Hi! I'm Cleo, and I'm ready to find my forever home.  I'm a 11-month-old female Great Pyrenees mix. Yes, I know I look nothing like Great Pyrenees other than the white fur, but I do watch over my home like a GP. And I enjoy patrolling my backyard to protect my family from intruders and strange noises. I love people and am good with new people, older kids, and my family.  I weigh around 50 pounds and am already spayed. I’m totally housebroken. But I'm not a big fan of being crated. I need slow introductions to new dogs, but we get along great after I get to know them! But I'm not cat-compatible. I love walks but go into protection mode when I see another dog. My foster parents are working with me on this.  I have something called resource guarding. If I have something I like (usually a toy or dirty sock), it's mine, and I don't want to give it up. But if you offer me a trade, like a treat, I will easily exchange my item for the treat. I love to cuddle! If all this sounds great, please complete an adoption application and meet me. I'm waiting for you.           An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
Meet Beary Tree Beary Tree is a stunning, 2.5 year old, Great Pyrenees mix. He weighs about 65 pounds. He has a medium energy level, is house trained, and working on crate training, but does well out in the house when left alone.   This guy is Mr. Charisma. He loves everyone and everyone loves him. He plays well with other dogs, but with any big dog, a slow introduction is always a good idea. He loves car rides and walks. Hikes are a big hit with Beary Tree too, but he can be barky when approaching other dogs. He is working on this and is making progress.   He loves hanging out in the yard, so a fenced yard is a good idea for this guy. Beary is a very intelligent dog who enjoys having something to do whether it is working on training, hiking, walking or whatever activity you love, he is up for it. On the flip side, he is also a big fan of daytime naps and hanging out in his yard.   This sweet boy is a joy and loves his people. He is going to be a great addition to a lucky family.   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
