Meet Ghoat. He’s being fostered in east TN. Out of state welcome for additional fee. We transport to the Greta lakes and northeast areas east areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs. Ghost had a home but unfortunately his owner could not longer care for him. He’s a really sweet pup. He loves attention and will come rest his head on your lap for petting and ear scratches. He gets along with most all other dogs big and small young or old. He is very playful and has lots of energy. He seems to be a husky mix. He has the curled husky tail and the coat of a medium coated husky but he also looks like he could be mixed with another breed. He’s not very big and only around 45 lbs. he’s a year old so he should not get much bigger. He probably will top out around 50-55 lbs. he is crate trained and house trained and walks well on a leash. He is a just a little shy when meeting new people and it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He is one smart and sweet pup!

Story

Frida (female), and her siblings were picked up by a kind woman after their mom was hit by a car. The puppies were just a few days old so she bottle fed them around the clock, kept them warm and safe and managed to save them. As of mid-March they are estimated to be about 7 months old and weigh about 30 lbs. They are believed to be husky mixes (a male husky roams around neighborhood) but their mother was small to medium sized. Frida is very affectionate, silly and playful, and she loves to strike a pose for the camera! She gets along well with other dogs and children. Frida is fully vaccinated and once adopted, can hop on our next transport to the NJ area and come home to her forever home. Leo is approximately 2-3 years old and currently weighs 57 pounds. Like so many dogs, Leo's story is a sad one. Leo spent most of his life with a caring and loving owner who regularly took him to the vet and kept him inside (which is not typical for dogs in the south). Once Leo's owner had to move into a senior residence, he entrusted a friend to care for his beloved dog, Leo. Long story short, that "friend" kept Leo chained up outside without food and water. You can see from one of Leo's pictures that he was skinny when he was rescued. He was taken to a shelter, but the shelter protocol is to euthanize dogs that are there for more than 3 days. Leo was pulled from the shelter in the nick of time. He's been to the vet and we unfortunately found out that he was heartworm positive so we arranged and paid for his treatments. Now, we are happy to announce that Leo has finished his heartworm treatments and he is now a healthy and happy boy. We are told that he loves meeting people and was even happy to see everyone at the vet. Leo is described as a wonderful, fairly calm boy, though he does have the occasional puppy burst of energy. He is human and dog friendly. He's a good boy who will sit when you ask him to. He loves car rides and will jump right in the back seat and stay there for the trip. Please help us find Leo a new, stable home. He must have been so confused, going from the love and safety of his original owner to being tied up and ignored outside. Juno and his 2 siblings, Johnny and Jane (adopted), were found dumped in rural Texas right around Christmas time. Now they are happily living with their foster mom who pampers them. They have been to the vet, received their vaccinations, and will be ready to come to the New Jersey area on our next transport. The vet estimates them to be about 4 months old (as of 3/11/26) and they appear to be a husky mix.â Juno is the smallest of the group - he weighs about 30 pounds (as of 3/22/26). He loves to cuddle with his foster mom and play tug of war with his siblings. He will squirm and try to climb his foster mom's leg in order to claim her lap before his siblings can. He shows no interest in the foster's cat. According to his foster mom, he is always happy and he loves everyone he meets. He will amuse himself by playing with anything. He will come when called, and loves to get treats. Juno may be the smallest of his siblings, but he definitely makes up for it with his charming personality! Molly is a 2-year-old, 55-pound female husky who was rescued as a stray. She’s now spayed, vaccinated for rabies, microchipped, heartworm-negative, and on preventive care. Her bloodwork is great, and she shows no signs of mistreatment. Molly is an affectionate dog who enjoys being around people; she is house-trained and behaves well indoors. Allowing her to exercise before bringing her into your home is recommended. She loves jumping on furniture and running around the house. She loves belly rubs, truck or 4-wheeler rides, and being close to her humans. She is smart, eager to please, responds to “sit” and “down” with verbal and hand signals (duration needs work), and is highly food-motivated. She also enjoys being brushed for short periods. She’s an active girl who needs daily exercise, consistent training, and a confident handler. Molly is learning not to jump on people and doors and is working on her leash skills—she can bolt if given the chance. Her recall is improving, especially with treats. Molly has a strong prey drive and will chase birds and chickens, so a home without poultry is best. She was calm—even indifferent—around a crying cat during a 30-minute car ride, but her long-term compatibility with cats is unknown. She also loves to dig for gophers! Molly would thrive with an active adopter who enjoys outdoor time and training. After a good run, she’s happy to relax and be your loyal companion. Breed experience would be ideal. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
