Story
Finn is a purebred Siberian Husky that is looking for a loving and active home. He is 9 years old (birthday 12/6), and although that is the beginning of being an older dog, he is very playful. Finn needs a new owner that understands how to work with a husky and is patient. He is loyal and affectionate. And he needs someone that will give him a home for the years that he has left. Too many huskies end up being put down in the pound because owners don't know how to work with them. So please be familiar with the breed. He is an easier husky than most, and is great around other animals. He's been tested with older children, but doesn't have much experience with younger ones. He's very laid back and is generally easy. He does not have a history of damaging property or possessions. He does not bark at passing cars or people (although he will at the occasional squirrel). Overall he's excellent. And he will be your best friend for years to come.

Story
Nico is a 2-year old (as of 2025) light red/white husky that is needed a new home after his family developed severe allergies. He is a friendly boy that was the result of an "oops" litter. He is friendly with other dogs, neutered, and will be updated on shots shortly. He is on heartworm preventative and will be heartworm tested prior to going to his new home. He is respectful of a 5 foot fence, but like any husky needs a secure fence for safety. As with all huskies, we recommend no cats in the home due to prey drive.  ##2314402##

Story
Chico is an AKC registered husky (we have his papers) and is considered a dirty face tri color (black/white/ small amounts of tan) giving him a more wolf like appearance.  Chico’s original owner has a terminal illness. She rehomed to another family. The family’s dogs didn’t get along with Chico and it resulted in unsafe situations. Chico is a sweet boy and up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and a typical husky. Like most huskies, he's not good with cats. He is good with other dogs (assuming those dogs are not rude to him). Chico is a typical husky in that he is vocal! That may mean he's not a good fit for an apartment complex. He has been good with children and other dogs here at the rescue. He is microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered.  He needs a safe home to land in...could it be yours?  Transport out of state is possible! Message us to chat about options and to see if your home is a good fit.  ##2158337##
