Rosie is a loving, sweet-natured dog who enjoys cuddling with her people just as much as she enjoys playtime. She is fully grown at 45 pounds and has a good balance of affection and energy. While Rosie has not had formal training, she is very smart, eager to please, and highly trainable. As part Border Collie, she thrives when she has plenty of room to run, explore, and burn off her energy. Because we are unable to provide the space and activity level she truly deserves, we are looking for a loving new home where she can flourish. Rosie is great with people, has a gentle and friendly personality, and sleeps through the night. She would be a great companion for an active individual or family who can give her the attention, exercise, and love she deserves.

She is probably best as the only dog in the home. She is not aggressive to ALL dogs but she is toward my one dog. My other dog she is fine with. She loves to cuddle, loves to play fetch & will bring the ball back to you as for long as you will throw it. I got her she was about 10 - 12 weeks old. Someone had found her tied to a tree. From the start she has shown some skiddish-ness - if you come at her too fast she will cower. I don’t know how she was treated at the beginning of her life but I just don’t think it was well. She is crate trained (during the day)- she was sleeping in my bed so if she is in the crate at night she cries and barks. She is house trained - won’t potty in the crate or in the house through the night. When she goes out she wants to play and will sometimes forget to potty. If she does go in the house she will go to the puppy pad. I love her so much. I am so, so sad to do this. I feel absolutely awful to give up on her. The fact that she is so aggressive toward my 10 year old lab is just not something I can fix. I have tried. I have done what I can. I am in fear of another fight, I feel like my life & well being is being affected as well as my old dogs well-being.

Burt arrived at our rescue last July in rough shape—underweight, heartworm positive, and with a torn ACL that needed surgery. Over the past year, he’s gained healthy weight, completed heartworm treatment, and recovered from ACL surgery. Now, he’s finally ready to find a home of his own. Burt is an easygoing, well-mannered dog. He is potty trained, doesn’t need to be crated, and gets along with other dogs—though he prefers relaxing to playing. A calm home with a mellow dog would be the best fit for him. Burt is 11 1/2 years old, weighs 63 lbs, and is Lab/Pit Bull mix (our best guess). Riley is a sweet girl that my son and I adopted about 5 years ago. I've had her ever since. She is not much of a tail wagger when meeting new people. She's been a great apartment dog that I take on 2 daily walks to do her business. She reacts to both rabbits and squirrels but I have mostly trained her not to chase while on the leash unless I say okay. She rarely pulls on her harness otherwise. She generally doesn't like small/toy dogs especially if they growl or bark at her. She has been introduced to a few of my friends medium sized and big dogs successfully. We were told that she didn't like small kids when we got her. So, I have not tested that. She also enjoys an occasional roll in the fresh cut grass. Not to worry, as she does pretty good at the groomers now that we've been in a rhythm. I'm only looking to rehome her because my wife is allergic to her.

Meet Nala, our beautiful 6-month-old Labrador puppy who has truly been a blessing to our family. She is incredibly adorable, super smart, and always eager to please. From the very beginning, Nala amazed us—she was fully potty trained and crate trained within her first two weeks with us. Nala is gentle, loving, and wonderful with our children (ages 11 and 8). She genuinely loves every dog and every child she meets and has the sweetest, calm temperament. In the four months she’s been with us, she’s probably barked only four times—she’s naturally quiet, observant, and well-mannered. With heavy hearts, we are looking to find Nala a new home. As first-time dog owners, we’ve come to realize that we are not able to give her the time, attention, and activity level she truly deserves. Between work and our kids’ schedules, she is spending too much time in her crate, and we are unable to keep up with regular walks and enrichment. Our priority is finding the perfect home for Nala.
