Story
**COURTESY LISTING**CONTACT HALLIE770@GMAIL.COM **813-466-9449 Stella is approximately 8 months old. Has all shots, and spayed & microchipped. About 45-50 lbs. She is probably best as the only dog in the home. She is not aggressive to ALL dogs but she is toward my one dog. My other dog she is fine with. She loves to cuddle, loves to play fetch & will bring the ball back to you as for long as you will throw it. I got her she was about 10 - 12 weeks old. Someone had found her tied to a tree. From the start she has shown some skiddish-ness - if you come at her too fast she will cower. I don’t know how she was treated at the beginning of her life but I just don’t think it was well. She is crate trained (during the day)- she was sleeping in my bed so if she is in the crate at night she cries and barks. She is house trained - won’t potty in the crate or in the house through the night. When she goes out she wants to play and will sometimes forget to potty. If she does go in the house she will go to the puppy pad. I love her so much. I am so, so sad to do this. I feel absolutely awful to give up on her. The fact that she is so aggressive toward my 10 year old lab is just not something I can fix. I have tried. I have done what I can. I am in fear of another fight, I feel like my life & well being is being affected as well as my old dogs well-being.

Story
Burt arrived at our rescue last July in rough shape—underweight, heartworm positive, and with a torn ACL that needed surgery. Over the past year, he’s gained healthy weight, completed heartworm treatment, and recovered from ACL surgery. Now, he’s finally ready to find a home of his own. Burt is an easygoing, well-mannered dog. He is potty trained, doesn’t need to be crated, and gets along with other dogs—though he prefers relaxing to playing. A calm home with a mellow dog would be the best fit for him. Burt is 11 1/2 years old, weighs 63 lbs, and is Lab/Pit Bull mix (our best guess). If you think Burt could be a good fit for your family, visit www.rescuerowinc.org to apply! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2124712##

Story
Hello! I am a beautiful, sweet 8-week-old male Labrador Retriever puppy looking for my ultimate forever home. I was brought home yesterday by a loving owner, but due to a sudden, unexpected medical health crisis and severe anxiety, my owner realized today that they are physically unable to provide the intensive care, time, and environment that a young puppy needs. It was a heartbreaking realization, but the choice to rehome me is being made entirely out of love to ensure I get the best possible life with a family who is fully ready for a puppy. I am an absolute sweetheart! I love to cuddle, I am very affectionate, and I am already doing wonderfully with my crate training. Because I am so young, I will need a family who has the time to house-train me, teach me my manners, and give me lots of love. I am coming with my crate, my bed, and my current food so that my transition to your home is as smooth and comfortable as possible. If you are looking for a loyal, sweet Lab companion and are

Story
Let’s go Eevee! This fun, energetic girl will Pokémon-go with you on any adventure. Eevee is a rambunctious bundle of energy that would fit in great with a family that gets outdoors or has space for her to run around at home.   She is a bit of an attention hog, so she will do best in a single-dog home, but she has lived with both a cat and a dog and may be able to settle in with the right animal friends with enough time and training.   Eevee needs animal companions that are respectful of her space when food is out, or to be fed separately. Eevee plays hard, so similar sized dog friends may be best. Eevee has lived with a toddler for two years, but may be better with older children after a slow introduction given her size and play style.   Eevee cries in the car, but is calmed with some medication that will be provided to the adopter. She is smart and very trainable. Earlier in her puppyhood, Eevee did a 3 week board and train and has some basic obedience training that, while rusty, could easily be honed further. She’s showed aptitude for agility-style courses, and can be convinced to do most anything with the right treats.  She is house and crate-trained, and spayed, microchipped, is current on vaccines and heartworm negative. Stay tuned for more photos and info as we get to know Eevee.  Fee is $275. Please apply online if you're interested: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
Nebo’s my name, playing is my game! I live with lots of other dogs and I love to play with whoever will play with me. I am good at keeping up with the big kids or being less rough for the little ones. I am a very high energy guy so I can wear out a lot of my buddies and still have energy leftover. I will chase cats if they want but most of them don't want to be bothered by me. My favorite is being with people. I have a want-to-please personality. I love it when my foster parents take me to PetsMart and I get attention there. I love people of all sizes and ages but my rescue friends say I'm too active for some people. I have good house manners and can even be in a crate if I have to be. I’m a Lab / Cattle Dog mix, weigh about 55 pounds, and my birthday is 3/8/14. Will you be my forever playmate?Nebo is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, neutered and on heart worm and flea/tick preventatives. The first step in our adoption process for this handsome boy is to submit your application which is available online at hillcrestanimalrescue.org.
