Story
**COURTESY LISTING**CONTACT HALLIE770@GMAIL.COM **813-466-9449 Stella is approximately 8 months old. Has all shots, and spayed & microchipped. About 45-50 lbs. She is probably best as the only dog in the home. She is not aggressive to ALL dogs but she is toward my one dog. My other dog she is fine with. She loves to cuddle, loves to play fetch & will bring the ball back to you as for long as you will throw it. I got her she was about 10 - 12 weeks old. Someone had found her tied to a tree. From the start she has shown some skiddish-ness - if you come at her too fast she will cower. I don’t know how she was treated at the beginning of her life but I just don’t think it was well. She is crate trained (during the day)- she was sleeping in my bed so if she is in the crate at night she cries and barks. She is house trained - won’t potty in the crate or in the house through the night. When she goes out she wants to play and will sometimes forget to potty. If she does go in the house she will go to the puppy pad. I love her so much. I am so, so sad to do this. I feel absolutely awful to give up on her. The fact that she is so aggressive toward my 10 year old lab is just not something I can fix. I have tried. I have done what I can. I am in fear of another fight, I feel like my life & well being is being affected as well as my old dogs well-being.

Story
When Burt first joined the rescue, he was in rough shape—underweight, heartworm positive, and suffering from a torn ACL. But this resilient senior has come a long way! He’s gained healthy weight, completed heartworm treatment, and successfully underwent surgery to repair his ACL. Now, Burt is finally ready to find his forever home. At almost 11 years old and weighing 63 lbs, Burt is a gentle soul—likely a Lab/Pit Bull mix. He’s fully potty trained and non-destructive, so he doesn’t need to be kenneled. He gets along well with other dogs, but he’s not one for playtime; if there’s another pup in the home, they should be content just relaxing together. Burt’s been through a lot, and now he’s ready to enjoy his golden years with a loving family by his side. If you are interested in adopting this sweet senior, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2124712##

Story
Butter is about 4 months old. I adopted her a month ago. She has grown up on the streets, but has the best personality. She loves to cuddle and show love, as well as play! She gets along with anyone and anything, and always makes friends. Never has she been aggressive or showed any sign of aggression. I am moving out of state and feel that she needs a home with access to a yard.

Story
Born July 2021, Current Weight 60 lbs   Jet was adopted from Legacy as a puppy and is being returned due to her family relocating overseas and being unable to take her along. She is house and crate trained and does well with other dogs. She needs to be in a home without children due to resource guarding and young kids not understanding when to give space.    She is in fantastic health and is a delightful family pet. She has good manners and knows ‘sit’ ‘stay’ ‘down’ ‘off’ ‘up/up up’ and ‘place’. Jet is crate trained and happily sleeps in her crate all night in the kitchen. Jet will reliably go to her crate from anywhere in the house with the command ‘place’. She can be left loose in the house for 3-4 hours at a time, and has never chewed anything while we’re out.   During the day she mostly snoozes in a comfy spot until it's time to remind us we should be preparing her dinner or that it’s time to play ‘tug toy’ with her! She happily sleeps in her crate all night in the kitchen. Jet has stayed at dog care from time to time when we travel and has always returned with a glowing report card.   She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on heartworm prevention. Please stay tuned as we get to know more about Apple/Jet.    To learn more or schedule a time to meet Jet, please apply here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/    We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
It is so hard to believe Bubbles has not been swooped up for adoption! She is now one of our Diamond Dogs, which are the pets we highlight as the Diamond in the Ruff seeking their forever home. Her adoption fee has been reduced to $125. DOB: 12/16/2022 Weight: 50lbs  Bubbles was left behind when her owner moved out of a rental property. Her roommate stepped up to care for her until a forever home could be found. Bubbles loves carrying her toys around and takes treats very gently. She knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and roll over on command and plays fetch. She's also house and crate-trained! Bubbles loves exercising in her yard several times a day and would do best in a home that can provide regular exercise. She does great with cats, but hasn't been around children so we're not sure how she would do. Bubbles is good with other dogs but needs to be fed separately from them.  Bubbles is current on her vaccinations, spayed and is heartworm negative. All she needs now is a forever home to call her own!
