Story
This beautiful girl is named Brandy. I am currently fostering her after a friend has fallen on hard times and can no longer care for her. I would keep her but I cannot financially care for two dogs and I also live in a small studio. She does need training on the leash and other commands. However, she is already potty trained and has had no issue in the home. Brandy is about a year old and still has a lot of energy but her goofy personality is the highlight of my day. I am looking for someone who can give her the life she deserves. She is not spayed yet but I have her appointment set for March 18th. The pet fee is to cover the cost of the spay.

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $650 Meet Hot Wheels — The Goofy Young Boxer Who Keeps Life Fun   Hot Wheels is a 10–12 month old, 50-pound Boxer who came to us from the shelter with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. True to his name, this young guy zooms through life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a signature Boxer sense of humor. He’s the kind of dog who turns ordinary days into adventures — whether that’s a long neighborhood walk, a spirited game of fetch, or a full-speed zoomie session in the yard.   His Daily Routine   Hot Wheels starts his day bright and early around 6:30 a.m. with a quick walk around the block to take care of business. After that, he’s happy to hang out in the kitchen and supervise the morning routine while everyone gets ready for the day. Once the morning rush is over, he enjoys a longer walk — about an hour — which is one of the highlights of his day.   During the daytime, Hot Wheels alternates between relaxing indoors and heading outside to play or stretch out in a sunny spot. He’s very good about letting you know when he needs to go out and has learned to use bells on the door to signal. In the evening, he settles down and sleeps quietly in his crate in the bedroom.   Personality — Classic Boxer   Hot Wheels is very much a typical young Boxer: goofy, playful, stubborn in the most charming way, and always ready for action. He’s friendly and open with new people and approaches life with a cheerful “let’s go!” attitude. He’s not a velcro dog or a constant cuddler, but he does like to check in and make sure everyone is accounted for — think of him as the household activity monitor.   He can be vocal during play, especially when he’s excited, but he’s generally a quiet dog who doesn’t bark at passersby, doorbells, or everyday household noises. He’s confident, curious, and pretty easygoing overall.   Exercise & Play — This Boy Loves to Move   Hot Wheels is an energetic young dog who thrives on activity. He loves long walks, running after balls, exploring tall grass, and inventing his own games with sticks or pine cones. He’s especially entertaining to watch when he zooms around the yard at top speed, weaving around obstacles like a race car on a track.   He is not a couch-potato type — he enjoys relaxing after he’s had a good workout, but regular exercise is important for keeping him happy and balanced. He would likely make an excellent hiking or jogging companion for an active household.   Training & Manners   Hot Wheels already knows sit and down, and he comes when called even without treats. Like many young dogs, he’s still working on impulse control and leash manners — squirrels, birds, and other dogs can be very exciting — but he’s eager to learn and responds well to consistent guidance.   He is mostly house trained, communicates clearly when he needs to go outside, and settles nicely in his crate at night. He enjoys chew toys and has done well in the home so far without destructive behavior.   Other Dogs, Kids & Home Environment   Hot Wheels is very interested in other dogs and people and tends to greet the world with enthusiasm — sometimes right up close and personal. Because he is strong, energetic, and still learning boundaries, he would likely do best in a home with experienced dog owners who understand Boxer play style and energy levels.   Older kids or dog-savvy families would be a great match, and a home with a yard where he can run and play would make him especially happy.   The Ideal Match   Hot Wheels is looking for an active household that enjoys getting outside, staying busy, and embracing the joyful chaos of a young Boxer. He’s a fun, engaging companion who will keep you moving, laughing, and smiling every single day. He doesn’t need constant attention, but he does best with people who will include him in daily activities and provide plenty of opportunities to burn off his youthful energy.   If you’re ready for a loyal sidekick who brings enthusiasm, humor, and a little bit of lovable mischief into your life, Hot Wheels might just be your perfect match.April 7, 2026, 8:36 pm

Our adoption fees vary. Born from an accidental litter to a devoted Boxer mama and a German Shepherd dad, Ring Toss and his siblings were raised in a home with children before being surrendered to the rescue so they could be properly vetted and matched with forever families.   From the moment he arrived, it was clear that Ring Toss is all about people. He’s the kind of puppy who wants to be wherever you are — your little shadow, your biggest fan, and your most enthusiastic companion.   Personality: A Velcro Pup with a Gentle Heart   Ring Toss is incredibly people-oriented. He follows his humans from room to room, always wanting to be part of the action. Even though he’s still learning his name and basic commands, he comes trotting right over whenever he hears your voice. That natural connection to people is something special — and it will make training and bonding a joy.   He has a calm, gentle manner overall, paired with the playful curiosity you’d expect from a puppy his age. When you pick him up, he melts into your arms, nestling his face into your neck like he was made for cuddling. He truly is a sweet, affectionate little boy who loves being close to his people.   Play Style & Social Skills   Ring Toss enjoys playing with other dogs and has shown lovely social manners. He currently lives with a Labrador who is always ready for fun, and they happily engage in games together. He has also learned to respect boundaries — when a grumpy Ridgeback lets him know playtime is over, Ring Toss listens and redirects his energy appropriately.   He’s beginning to discover the joy of toys, especially balls, and has already joined in on some friendly games of tug.   Training & Daily Life   Ring Toss is still very much a baby and learning the ropes, but he’s already showing signs of being a smart and eager student.   Food Motivation: Very high — he loves his meals and is highly motivated by treats, which makes training much easier. Potty Training: Not fully potty trained yet, but he’s in the learning phase and making progress. Crate Training: He’s not a fan of the kennel just yet, but he’s already improving from night one to night two, and his foster family expects continued progress with patience and routine.   Like most puppies, he will benefit from structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement as he grows.   Energy Level   Ring Toss strikes a lovely balance. He enjoys playtime and puppy fun, but he also has a naturally gentle, easygoing temperament. After a good round of play, he’s more than happy to settle in for snuggles or relax near his people.   He’s the kind of puppy who can keep up with an active household but also appreciates downtime and affection.   Why Ring Toss Will Be an Amazing Companion   Ring Toss has all the ingredients that make a dog truly special:   Deep love for people Gentle, affectionate nature Playful spirit Willingness to learn And a heart that just wants to belong   He was lovingly raised in a home environment from the start, so he’s already familiar with family life and human companionship. Now he’s ready for the next chapter — a forever home that will continue to guide him, teach him, and shower him with love.   If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly, people-focused puppy who will grow into a devoted best friend, Ring Toss may be your perfect match.April 7, 2026, 8:36 pm

Story
Meet Mia - The one, the only, the miracle mutt! This 38 pound cutie was past due for euthanasia and was saved in the nick of time #euthlistsurvivor. At just 2 years old she has a heck of a lot more life to live! Mia loves to start her day off by giving her people lots of love and wiggles. As soon as you start walking towards her food for breakfast you can expect her dancing to begin. It’s guaranteed to make you smile! While Mia is protective of the home, she is a very chill princess inside! She loves watching tv (yes full on invested in plots and all) and laying on the couch with her ball. Anything Food Network is sure to grab her attention. She is a very silly girl who loves to play and chew on her toys (certified super chewer). If you need some comedic relief, she’s the girl for you. When it comes to other dogs Mia does well with structured, proper introductions. Her ideal doggie roommate would be a male who is her size or bigger. Kids? Mia loves meeting them but is best suited for a house with kids ages 10+ only due to her playful, jumpy personality. Mia is still working on her leash training. While she does deal with heightened anxiety outdoors, the right person can help her feel at ease. Mia has a super stylish pink muzzle that protects her #gooddogswearmuzzles or her favorite ball will do the job to keep her mouth occupied when she gets a little too excited. Her trainer verified that it’s more than just a ball, it’s her anxiety relief. A calm neighborhood or open park is the ideal place to walk Mia - busy streets and complexes can be overwhelming for this shelter survivor. Mia needs a slow introduction to all men - but once you prove your good intentions you’ll win her heart over. Her (male) trainer and foster uncle are two of her favorite people ever! Bonus Features: - Potty and grass pad pro - Crate trained! She will snooze like a baby if you have to leave the house for a few hours - Part time doorbell + full time cuddle bug If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a genuine sweetheart, and someone to make you laugh you need to give Mia a call! She is currently being fostered in sunny Orange County, California and is taking applications for her forever human! Apply today! www.californiabullyrescue.org/adopt

Meet Arrow! Your New Favorite Goofball! Adoptable Arrow is a 55 lb, happy, wiggly, incredibly well-behaved pup who’s equal parts sweet and silly. He loves people, plays wonderfully with other dogs, and charms everyone with his full-body wiggles and gentle, goofy smile. This boy is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows his basics: sit, down, name recall, and more. He’s never had an accident indoors and follows house rules like a pro. He’s got a great balance of energy: playful when it's time, and calm with a toy or stuffie when it’s not. Arrow walks nicely on leash after a few excited puppy steps. He’s respectful with other dogs and could cat-workable with dog savvy cats. His clumsy enthusiasm makes him best suited for homes with older kids. Arrow has a condition called Megaesophagus (Mega E), which just means his esophagus needs a little help moving food to his stomach. Thankfully, it's extremely manageable! He eats in a special upright chair (called a Bailey Chair) and lives for mealtime especially his soaked, ground kibble or wet food. He also does well with most solid treats and chews If you're looking for a joyful, affectionate, and ready-to-go companion, Arrow’s your guy! Story
Meet Pantera! Your New Ride-or-Die Sidekick! Pantera is a fabulous 4-5 year-old, 60lb american pitbull terrier mix with the looks of a supermodel and the heart of a survivor. This gal was stuck at the Stockton Shelter for three whole months and get this, she even had eight adorable puppies there. Her little ones were snatched up faster than you can say “treat,” but poor Pantera was left behind, just waiting for someone to see the magic in her. Time was running out, and she was heartbreakingly close to being euthanized. But don’t worry this story has a plot twist! Pantera's unshakable zest for life was impossible to miss. She wiggled her way into everyone’s hearts and straight into a second chance. Since leaving the shelter, she’s become a fan favorite basically the Beyoncé of the dog world. She’s a total people person (well, dog), a canine social butterfly who also plays really well with other pups her size or larger. She’s down for a game of fetch or a good squeaky toy showdown, but also perfectly happy to Netflix and snooze on the couch next to you. Pantera’s got that golden combo: mature enough to be past the zoomies-all-day phase, but still fun, playful, and full of love. After being used as a baby-making machine (ugh, don’t get us started), she’s ready for the softest couch and the happiest forever home. Pantera would thrive best in a large breed experienced home free of small critters or small kiddos. Could that be with you? Fostered in Bay Point! Apply to meet her today: https://www.cabullyrescue.org/apply-here
