Story
Im needing to rehome our 6yr old boxer. I'm Recently, having to move in with my 2 disabled parents and unfortunately cannot keep her. She is a love bug, sweet , smart, goofy, wiggily , boxer. She loves toys and playing tug of war and fetch. She only sometimes brings it back though lol. She get along great with other dogs, in fact she would prefer to live in a house with another dog. She loves children of all ages. She is a bouncy, wiggly , leaner so i would recommend kids 8 and up so she doesn't knock them over ( on accident out of love) she loves cats she has lived with 3 different cats over the years. The cons...she is a foodie and will still food off the counter if left alone. She also, sometimes happy pees. When she first meets someone , if they get her really excited. I would recommend meeting new people outside. Once she knows you she won't do that anymore. Get in touch if you would like to meet her!

Story
Jojo is being fostered in Illinois. Has some vision.Hi. My name is Jojo. I am a 4-year-old boxer mix. I like to think of myself as a playful happy-go-lucky gal. I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. I like cats (see https://youtu.be/t_3b0r0n9LY ). But I may need slow introductions with little feisty dogs. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies.I like to be active and meet people and other dogs (see https://youtu.be/9LG4Cy9_kJI ). However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nWkm8OssZU ). At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved (see https://youtu.be/Y_-7FDicj-M ).I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person.Blind Dog Rescue has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

* To be considered for a meet/adoption, please read the full biography to see whether they may be a good fit for your home, then submit an online application at www.dpsrescue.org.  Adoption fee: $650   Meet the Summer Sips Puppies! Four refreshing little reasons to fall in love.   Born in the shelter but raised the safety of our rescue to adorable Mama Sunny D, a petite, low-rider Pittie mix, the Summer Sips puppies have spent their entire lives surrounded by love, good care, and plenty of opportunities to grow into confident, happy little pups. Now, at just 8 weeks old and weighing around 8–10 pounds (with one extra petite little sister!), they're ready to trade the nursery for forever homes.   Their days begin bright and early around 7 a.m. with a potty break outside before digging into their favorite Nulo puppy breakfast. Since growing puppies work up quite an appetite, they enjoy meals every 3–4 hours throughout the day before spending their time doing what puppies do best: playing, wrestling, exploring, collecting toys, greeting visitors, and occasionally crashing for an adorable nap. They spend their days roaming the barn with plenty of enrichment and have been raised alongside adult dogs and cats, making them respectful little housemates in the making. By about 9 p.m., everyone is happily tucked into bed after another adventure-filled day.   Like any great mixed drink menu, each puppy has their own unique flavor!   Kool-Aid The Life of the Party   If there's a welcoming committee, Kool-Aid is leading it.   One of the confident boys, Kool-Aid is always among the first to greet new people with a wagging tail and endless enthusiasm. He's playful, outgoing, and loves romping with his siblings until everyone is happily exhausted. After a good wrestling match, he's just as happy climbing into your lap for a little affection before heading off for his next adventure.   He's the perfect combination of fun-loving puppy energy and affectionate cuddle buddy.   Hi-C Big Heart, Big Paws, Big Personality   Hi-C is the largest puppy in the litter, tipping the scales at about 10 pounds— and somehow every ounce of him is sweetness.   He's a sturdy little guy with a playful spirit and endless confidence. Whether he's chasing toys, tumbling with his siblings, or making new human friends, Hi-C approaches everything with joy. Like his brother, he's one of the first to say hello when visitors arrive and loves being right in the middle of the action.   If you're looking for a puppy who's equal parts goofy playmate and loyal best friend, Hi-C is ready for the job.   Capri Sun The Sweet, Easygoing One   Every litter has that puppy who quietly charms everyone—and that's Capri Sun.   She has a calm, gentle personality that makes her wonderfully easy to be around. While she enjoys playing with her siblings, toys, and people, she's perfectly content letting everyone else steal the spotlight while she happily joins the fun at her own pace.   Capri Sun has a thoughtful, laid-back nature that makes her an easy companion. She enjoys affection without demanding constant attention and is happiest simply being included in whatever the family is doing.   Tang Tiny Package, Extra Sweetness   Don't let her petite size fool you— Tang has enough love packed into her little 6.9-pound body to fill a whole pitcher.   The smallest puppy in the litter, Tang is a gentle, precious girl who enjoys playing with her siblings before happily curling up for an early nap wrapped snugly in a cozy blanket. She has an especially soft, affectionate personality and will let out the cutest little whines when she's hoping for a cuddle.   She can be a bit more timid than her brothers, but once she feels safe, her sweet nature shines. Tang would love a family who appreciates puppy snuggles just as much as puppy zoomies.   Looking for a Little Refreshment?   Whether you're drawn to outgoing adventurers, gentle cuddle bugs, or somewhere in between, the Summer Sips puppies have a flavor for everyone.   Like all young puppies, they'll need families committed to positive training, socialization, patience, and lots of love as they grow into wonderful adult dogs. In return, you'll get years of laughter, loyal companionship, and a best friend who's guaranteed to brighten every season— not just summer.   July 16, 2026, 7:53 pm

Story
Meet Pantera 🖤 — equal parts couch potato, snuggle bug, and goofy adventure buddy. When Pantera first came into foster, she was scared of the world around her. New people? Terrifying. Confidence? Hidden somewhere deep inside. She would barely lift her head, unsure if she was truly safe. But with patience, structure, love, and lots of encouragement, this sweet girl slowly started to blossom. Now? Pantera greets guests by immediately turning herself into a 60-pound weighted blanket and soaking up every ounce of affection she can get. Tail wags, goofy smiles, couch cuddles — she’s discovered that home is supposed to feel safe, warm, and full of love. Pantera is looking for a forever family that understands she’s the perfect mix of cuddle queen and active companion. She LOVES a good game of tug or chasing a ball, enjoys walks, and thrives when her brain and body stay engaged. She’s currently working on impulse control, muzzle training, and building confidence with distractions — and she’s doing amazing. A few things about our girl: ✨ Professional couch snuggler ✨ LOVES her people with her whole heart ✨ Dog friendly with proper introductions ✨ Would do great with a calm, well-balanced dog to follow ✨ People friendly and affectionate ✨ Walks beautifully on leash ✨ Needs structure, consistency, and continued training ✨ High prey drive, so no small pets please ✨ May do well with respectful kids who understand boundaries Pantera does have some separation anxiety, so she’ll need an experienced and committed adopter willing to continue helping her feel secure and confident. The good news? She’s already worked with a trainer who has offered continued support for her future family. At the end of the day, Pantera is just a sweet soul who loves BIG. She wants nothing more than to curl up next to her people, feel safe, and finally have the forever family she’s always deserved. Honestly, if she could crawl into your skin to be closer to you, she probably would. 🖤 Pantera has done the hard part — learning how to trust and love again. Now she just needs someone willing to choose her forever.

Story
Meet Mia - The one, the only, the miracle mutt! This 38 pound cutie was past due for euthanasia and was saved in the nick of time #euthlistsurvivor. At just 2 years old she has a heck of a lot more life to live! Mia loves to start her day off by giving her people lots of love and wiggles. As soon as you start walking towards her food for breakfast you can expect her dancing to begin. It’s guaranteed to make you smile! While Mia is protective of the home, she is a very chill princess inside! She loves watching tv (yes full on invested in plots and all) and laying on the couch with her ball. Anything Food Network is sure to grab her attention. She is a very silly girl who loves to play and chew on her toys (certified super chewer). If you need some comedic relief, she’s the girl for you. When it comes to other dogs Mia does well with structured, proper introductions. Her ideal doggie roommate would be a male who is her size or bigger. Kids? Mia loves meeting them but is best suited for a house with kids ages 10+ only due to her playful, jumpy personality. Mia is still working on her leash training. While she does deal with heightened anxiety outdoors, the right person can help her feel at ease. Mia has a super stylish pink muzzle that protects her #gooddogswearmuzzles or her favorite ball will do the job to keep her mouth occupied when she gets a little too excited. Her trainer verified that it’s more than just a ball, it’s her anxiety relief. A calm neighborhood or open park is the ideal place to walk Mia - busy streets and complexes can be overwhelming for this shelter survivor. Mia needs a slow introduction to all men - but once you prove your good intentions you’ll win her heart over. Her (male) trainer and foster uncle are two of her favorite people ever! Bonus Features: - Potty and grass pad pro - Crate trained! She will snooze like a baby if you have to leave the house for a few hours - Part time doorbell + full time cuddle bug If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a genuine sweetheart, and someone to make you laugh you need to give Mia a call! She is currently being fostered in sunny Orange County, California and is taking applications for her forever human! Apply today! www.californiabullyrescue.org/adopt

Story
ADOPTABLE ARROW! Arrow is a 65 lb ray of sunshine disguised as a dog. He wakes up every morning convinced it's going to be the best day ever. Whether he's greeting you with full-body wiggles, showing off his twinkly eyes, playing fetch, or stretching out for a sunbath, Arrow approaches life with pure joy. He falls in love with every single person he meets, and also has a way of making people fall in love with him -maybe it's because he's genuinely happy all the time. He loves other dogs, and accommodates to their interests and play style. One of the best things about Arrow is how easy he is to live with. He's house-trained, crate-trained, respectful, and wonderfully well-mannered. He is just as content relaxing by your side as he is heading out for an adventure. Arrow has a very mild form of Megaesophagus that is exceptionally well-managed. He happily hops into his Bailey chair for meals and otherwise lives a full, active life. After a game of fetch, he'll patiently wait for an ice cube instead of helping himself to the nearest water bowl. It's just part of his routine, and he takes it all in stride. Arrow isn't special because of his medical condition, he's special because of who he is: joyful, loving, easygoing, and endlessly kind. If you're looking for a dog who will make ordinary days better, Arrow is waiting to meet you! Arrow is fostered in Pacifica please fill out an application today to meet him! https://www.cabullyrescue.org/apply-here
