Story
Jojo is being fostered in Illinois. Has some vision.Hi. My name is Jojo. I am a 4-year-old boxer mix. I like to think of myself as a playful happy-go-lucky gal. I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. I like cats (see https://youtu.be/t_3b0r0n9LY ). But I may need slow introductions with little feisty dogs. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies.I like to be active and meet people and other dogs (see https://youtu.be/9LG4Cy9_kJI ). However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nWkm8OssZU ). At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved (see https://youtu.be/Y_-7FDicj-M ).I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person.Blind Dog Rescue has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Hi everyone, This is Nelah and I can't wait to meet you. Everyone says I look like a Boxer/Bulldog mix and that is fine with me. I love that I have white and brindle markings and that my fur is so soft. Even though I am 5 yo, I still love chasing balls especially ones that squeak and hanging out on the couch with my friends. I like drinking water from a hose and have my own little pool to cool off. I have all of my vaccines, am spayed and have a microchip so you can find me if I ever get lost. If you would like to meet me, please apply at jellysplace.org.

Story
We are looking for a good home for our sweet, affectionate, 4-year-old boxer-shepherd, Lexi. She is well-trained, with excellent recall, knows several commands (sit/ down/ place/ leave it/ go), and is smart, so she could learn more. Lexi loves snuggles, walks, hikes, and playing catch. She can get anxious around unfamiliar dogs and people, especially kids. We’ve worked with a trainer so that she is comfortable and safe with our 3-year old, but as we’re getting ready to have another human kid, we’ve realized we aren’t able to give her the life we’d like her to have. We’re hoping to find Lexi a loving home without little kids, where she can have more outside time and consistency.

Story
Meet Kali Kali is a sweet, loving boxer who has been around babies and kids her whole life. She is house trained, knows basic commands, walks well on leash, and loves to run, play, and stay active. Kali does have anxiety and reactivity toward other dogs while on walks. We’ve worked on training for years, but she still struggles with it due to a lack of socialization before we adopted her. She has lived peacefully with a French Bulldog her entire life and does great at home with her family. We are looking for a caring forever home that can give her love, patience, exercise, and understanding. She is deeply loved and deserves the best fit possible.

Story
Meet Mia - The one, the only, the miracle mutt! This 38 pound cutie was past due for euthanasia and was saved in the nick of time #euthlistsurvivor. At just 2 years old she has a heck of a lot more life to live! Mia loves to start her day off by giving her people lots of love and wiggles. As soon as you start walking towards her food for breakfast you can expect her dancing to begin. It’s guaranteed to make you smile! While Mia is protective of the home, she is a very chill princess inside! She loves watching tv (yes full on invested in plots and all) and laying on the couch with her ball. Anything Food Network is sure to grab her attention. She is a very silly girl who loves to play and chew on her toys (certified super chewer). If you need some comedic relief, she’s the girl for you. When it comes to other dogs Mia does well with structured, proper introductions. Her ideal doggie roommate would be a male who is her size or bigger. Kids? Mia loves meeting them but is best suited for a house with kids ages 10+ only due to her playful, jumpy personality. Mia is still working on her leash training. While she does deal with heightened anxiety outdoors, the right person can help her feel at ease. Mia has a super stylish pink muzzle that protects her #gooddogswearmuzzles or her favorite ball will do the job to keep her mouth occupied when she gets a little too excited. Her trainer verified that it’s more than just a ball, it’s her anxiety relief. A calm neighborhood or open park is the ideal place to walk Mia - busy streets and complexes can be overwhelming for this shelter survivor. Mia needs a slow introduction to all men - but once you prove your good intentions you’ll win her heart over. Her (male) trainer and foster uncle are two of her favorite people ever! Bonus Features: - Potty and grass pad pro - Crate trained! She will snooze like a baby if you have to leave the house for a few hours - Part time doorbell + full time cuddle bug If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a genuine sweetheart, and someone to make you laugh you need to give Mia a call! She is currently being fostered in sunny Orange County, California and is taking applications for her forever human! Apply today! www.californiabullyrescue.org/adopt

Story
Meet Pantera 🖤 — equal parts couch potato, snuggle bug, and goofy adventure buddy. When Pantera first came into foster, she was scared of the world around her. New people? Terrifying. Confidence? Hidden somewhere deep inside. She would barely lift her head, unsure if she was truly safe. But with patience, structure, love, and lots of encouragement, this sweet girl slowly started to blossom. Now? Pantera greets guests by immediately turning herself into a 60-pound weighted blanket and soaking up every ounce of affection she can get. Tail wags, goofy smiles, couch cuddles — she’s discovered that home is supposed to feel safe, warm, and full of love. Pantera is looking for a forever family that understands she’s the perfect mix of cuddle queen and active companion. She LOVES a good game of tug or chasing a ball, enjoys walks, and thrives when her brain and body stay engaged. She’s currently working on impulse control, muzzle training, and building confidence with distractions — and she’s doing amazing. A few things about our girl: ✨ Professional couch snuggler ✨ LOVES her people with her whole heart ✨ Dog friendly with proper introductions ✨ Would do great with a calm, well-balanced dog to follow ✨ People friendly and affectionate ✨ Walks beautifully on leash ✨ Needs structure, consistency, and continued training ✨ High prey drive, so no small pets please ✨ May do well with respectful kids who understand boundaries Pantera does have some separation anxiety, so she’ll need an experienced and committed adopter willing to continue helping her feel secure and confident. The good news? She’s already worked with a trainer who has offered continued support for her future family. At the end of the day, Pantera is just a sweet soul who loves BIG. She wants nothing more than to curl up next to her people, feel safe, and finally have the forever family she’s always deserved. Honestly, if she could crawl into your skin to be closer to you, she probably would. 🖤 Pantera has done the hard part — learning how to trust and love again. Now she just needs someone willing to choose her forever.

Story
ADOPTABLE ARROW! Arrow is a 65 lb ray of sunshine disguised as a dog. He wakes up every morning convinced it's going to be the best day ever. Whether he's greeting you with full-body wiggles, showing off his twinkly eyes, playing fetch, or stretching out for a sunbath, Arrow approaches life with pure joy. He falls in love with every single person he meets, and also has a way of making people fall in love with him -maybe it's because he's genuinely happy all the time. He loves other dogs, and accommodates to their interests and play style. One of the best things about Arrow is how easy he is to live with. He's house-trained, crate-trained, respectful, and wonderfully well-mannered. He is just as content relaxing by your side as he is heading out for an adventure. Arrow has a very mild form of Megaesophagus that is exceptionally well-managed. He happily hops into his Bailey chair for meals and otherwise lives a full, active life. After a game of fetch, he'll patiently wait for an ice cube instead of helping himself to the nearest water bowl. It's just part of his routine, and he takes it all in stride. Arrow isn't special because of his medical condition, he's special because of who he is: joyful, loving, easygoing, and endlessly kind. If you're looking for a dog who will make ordinary days better, Arrow is waiting to meet you! Arrow is fostered in Pacifica please fill out an application today to meet him! https://www.cabullyrescue.org/apply-here
