Rajah is a loyal, loving, playful and sweet boy. He loves nothing more than to please and protect his people. He enjoys long walks and hikes, snuggling on the couch and getting head rubs, and most of all playing fetch! He has lots of love to give. Our family adopted Rajah as a 1.5 year old dog after he was abandoned and picked up by a shelter. He had signs of abuse/neglect and as a result, anxiety and protective behaviors. We worked with a trainer for a few years who helped us address his anxiety and make him feel more comfortable welcoming visitors into our home. The ideal home for Raj would be an active individual or family who have experience with dogs who were abused. I got Siobhan as a rescue a couple of years ago. She came from a rough environment and needed to get out of there. I didn't plan on keeping her but my husband fell in love with her. We have tried to work with her but as of recently she hasn't been able to get along with our other dogs, one being her own puppy who is almost 3 years old. She gets very stressed out in our home as we also have children that are loud and it gets her upset. She grabbed my senior dog and he had to be put to sleep as a result. She is great in a calm environment. She is crate trained, walks on a leash, loves food, and is very sweet when calm.

Skye has been with us for 4 years, and is very ready to find her forever family! Skye is very loving with people and loves to play ball in the yard. Skye is active but also likes to lounge after some activity. She would make a great active buddy followed by movie nights cuddling on the couch. She has been living in a kennel environment, which is very stressful and overstimulating for dogs, so she will need a family that can continue training with her and help her decompress. Skye is very smart and knows sit, lay down, spin, wait and will work for treats! She recently completed a 6 week training course with a local trainer and did amazing! Skye can be reactive to other dogs on leash and will need a family that can help her work on this. She has done great working around other dogs in her training classes, but she can be reactive when other dogs are elevated or reactive also. She can do well with other dogs in calm settings and proper introductions. Since she has some reactivity, she would do best in a standalone home and not an apartment, or in a crowded city neighborhood. No cats or small critters. Skye can jump when she is excited and is still working on taking treats gently, so we are looking for a home with kids over 12 or adult only, . Skye is UTD on shots, microchipped and spayed.
