Alaska is a little girl who came running to the shelter to hide, we assume she was scared after being run over. At first glance we saw that she had a fracture in her hind leg, her first visit to the vet was to prepare her for an amputation, since her leg was beyond repair. After her recovery, she began to prepare to find her new home, currently she already has her vaccinations up to date, she is spayed and ready. She is a very pampered dog, like a big girl, waiting for love, affection and lots of cuddles, she likes to go for walks, eager to see new places, always happy, following you everywhere. She is very curious, elated to see you, and such an adorable, smart little girl. The fact that she is missing her leg does not stop her, she runs, plays and can even jump, she has adapted quite well to her new life. She is still a puppy, she will barely be a year old, she will not grow any more, she is medium, around 28 pounds. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. He's more of a Prince Charming :) Extreme cuddlebug: loves to loll his head into yours while you're on the sofa together, or when you're driving. Wants to sleep on the pillows curled up right next to you. Will put his paws on you for pets and hugs. Food motivated: he does best with a slow feeder toys for meals and loves treats for training! Active and agile: when he gets the zoomies, he races from bed to sofa to bed to sofa. Parkour parkour! Dog friendly: Loves to with his dog friends! He would love another dog friend in the home. Bonds deeply with his person and will look for them, stand by them, follow them from room to room, and does a great recall for that person. Here is what his foster family has to say about him! ‘He loves the yard and having a house to roam around whenever he wants. He sleeps in the bed with his foster parents at night. During the day he stays gated in the kitchen while they are away at work, and spends his days sleeping quietly while they are gone. He is house-trained, and not destructive! He doesn't bark at anyone coming in the door. His leash manners have improved drastically. He loves lounging on the couch and stretching on the floor. He has the best dinner manners and sits and waits for his bowl to be put down. Baron is a large boy and very strong and will require a family that is experienced with bullies and or large breeds. She is a little survivor of 12, her mom was abandoned and at one day old, Abby and her 11 siblings were left in a box in the middle of nowhere with no shade. When we came for them after receiving a report from a neighbor of the owner, there were only 5 babies left alive, and we found the rest already dead inside a plastic bag with a knot in it. Abby grew up happy with her litter, they are very active and loving little ones. She is learning to walk on her leash, lives well with dogs and cats and is the most chubby of her litter. She is the smiliest and is very intelligent. It would be ideal for her to grow up in a home with children, she likes walks and although she is a little shy at first, she usually comes out of her shell quickly.
