Ooooo Rorie! While this sweet girl may not wrangle your cattle, she definitely wrangles hearts! She has the personality of every heeler you've known that you just adore! With her ADORABLE puppy dog eyes, and bubbly personality- we can't get enough of her! She greets EVERYONE with the invitation for belly rubs and cuddles, often kisses, too! With a constant wagging tail- she is SO happy go lucky, and LOVES getting to know everyone she meets! Rorie is quite the playgroup player, often letting the puppies chase her, or playing fetch with the big dogs, she rarely has a care in the world! Rorie hits the scales at JUST over 30 pounds, at a year old- the PERFECT size for that wonderful companion who can accompany you everywhere, or even nowhere- with your at-home movie nights! She definitely won't mind snagging a few pieces of popcorn and hittin' the hay! If you're looking for the most docile, lovable, and ADORABLE dogs, she is the PERFECT pooch. My adoption fee is only $210! This fee covers all of my vaccines, microchip, nex/heartguard, heartworm test, AND my spay/neuter!

Story
Giraffe-baby! The sweetest little boy, and as cheery as they get! Raff doesn't have a care in the world- like ever. He's got a happy-go-lucky temperament that is suitable for just about ANY home! He is a lover of all things, cats, dogs, people, kids, critters- he's just elated to meet, love on, or getting loving from anything! But his loving definitely comes with a hint of playtime! Whether it's tug, chasing down a ball, squeaking a stuffie, he LOVES it! Not too long into his playtime he winds down into a deep puppy nap. Raff is the perfect character in his wonderful stage of puppyhood, and we reckon he will be JUST as perfect into adulthood- as he will likely be that perfect in between size for a canine companion! The size that you can take anywhere, everywhere, or nowhere at all on those cozy nights in- he will definitely not mind if you give him a bone, or even a stick! & he's truly one happy camper, at about 2 months old, and a whoppin' 6 pounds! I can be adopted with a spay/neuter agreement! The refundable fee of $100 is INCLUDED in my $410 adoption fee! This fee covers my spay/neuter surgery (at the Monticello Vet Clinic), my vaccines: Bordetella, DA2PP, Rabies! & my heartworm test + preventatives! The $100 deposit is returned once proof of sterilization is furnished!

Story
Hey what's up? We are Lucy and Ricky, a bonded due looking for the dream place to live out our golden years! Like ma and Dorathy on "The Golden Girls" we just can't leave each other! Lucy is a Australian Cattle Dog Mix who was born in December of 2015. Ricky is a Pointer Mix who was born in January of 2018. We are very timid dogs but once we trust you we are the best of pals! Lucy is Ricky's emotional support dog and he just loves to be around her. Ricky's days normally include love of naps and hoarding the toys. Meanwhile, Lucy spends her day napping and hanging with her people! Due to their size and energy they do need a home with a fenced-in yard. They both would not mind another canine friend in their forever home! Every duo needs a "Golden Girls Rose" don't they? Lucy and Ricky are happy to be retiring and enjoying the good life, and would prefer a home with no young kiddos. Are you ready to welcome them into your home!? The suggested adoption donation for Lucy and Ricky is $525. Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees.  Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.  To learn about Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue or donate to our animals, please visit our website at MuddyPawsSecondChanceRescue.com or our Facebook Page, Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue Inc. ##2046791##

Story
Hi there, I'm Beau. I'm still young and full of life. I have a heart bursting with love and kindness. I'm the kind of dog who loves to be around people, always eager to make new friends. I'm mellow and gentle, and I promise I won't jump on you when you come home from work. Instead, I'll greet you with a wagging tail and a happy smile. I promise to bring you unconditional love, just promise to love me back!  If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to request an appointment to meet me. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. No need to call to find out about me, you can ask questions on the application or email questions to info@polkcountyhumanesociety.org. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and Minneapolis, MN areas twice a month. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual and we will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veteinarian ($35). Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! ##2046051##
