If you have not received a response in 24 hours we did not receive your email so please email again! This dog is fostered near Marine on St Croix MN. Tilly is a purebred ACD born 7-4-25. She currently weighs about 15 pounds. She will likely be around 25 pounds as an adult. The rest of Tilly’s siblings were sold by the breeder to a pet store. They didn’t take Tilly because she is missing half of one ear. We think that just makes her extra cute! You may remember Tilly being posted several months ago. Unfortunately, she was dropped by an adult during a meet and greet, resulting in four broken bones in her foot. Tilly went through weeks of casting and bandage changes, and thankfully, her foot is now completely healed. She is continuing to gain strength and mobility after months of crate rest. Her new family will need to ensure that she remains active and is not allowed to become obese. Tilly likes other nice dog friends. She requests a home with a doggie best friend if possible! She currently lives with Meg and several resident dogs. She lives with older, dog savvy kids as well. Tilly will not be a good candidate for a home with very young children who could re-injure her leg. Tilly is crate trained and house trained when kept on a schedule. She would do great in a basic training class to learn good things with a new family too. A little time and she is going to be your very best friend. *Each pup is spayed or neutered and current on their vet cares. *We do not hold or reserve dogs. We do not ship or fly. Prospective families must come to the dogs location in MN to meet.* *Emails are answered in the order they are received. We are receiving a large number of emails, so answering promptly is our goal. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.McCartney and his siblings found themselves stuck in a high kill shelter in West Texas as very young puppies. They are great pups and are good with other dogs, cats and people.   All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful.  McCartney has been coming out of his shell. He can still be timid with new people but opens up more each week at events to strangers and at home each day. He likes chin and booty scratches.  He will snuggle with you in time and gives the gentlest tiniest kisses. He loves other dogs and would do well a home with another dog to show him the ropes, but it is not a requirement; added patience will be needed if he's an only pup. He plays perfectly with dogs as well as  independently, often found throwing the toys in the air to entertain himself. He is the ultimate stuffy killer but it's oh so fun to watch him enjoy the moment.  He walks beautifully on leash, knows sit, has a good recall, is gentle when taking treats and trys hard to figure out what you are asking of him with a treat in hand. He is good in his kennel while the foster is at work, he will also go chill in there as well when he needs a break all on his own. He's doing great on potty training with only a few accidents here and there. He pays no attention to the cats in the home. He would make a lovely addition to any home that is willing to give him a little time for a big reward of love and silliness Please put in your application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 14, 2026, 11:17 am

Story
Meet Roxanne! This sweet cattle dog mix is such a cuddle bug! At just four months old, she is already keeping her indoor area clean and goes outside to potty. Roxanne does well with other dogs and cats and loves attention. At this time, she is not a fan of being crated but does well outside of her crate. Roxanne’s current foster says she is absolutely precious and she could just hold her all day long. If this sounds like the pup for you, please complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Story
Ever wonder if it is even possible for show stopping beauty, an amazing brain, AND a five-star winning personality to come in the same package?! Lucky for you — they do for this sweet girl! Juniper is a treasure of a dog, waiting for her forever home. Just look at those beautiful, bright amber eyes and freckled nose. Juniper is a gorgeous girl and a perfect medium size. She always upbeat and carries a smile on her face. Besides her looks, Juniper is also a very smart, trainable girl. The sky is the limit for her. She’s eager to learn. She’s also pretty athletic so she would be a great running companion. Or maybe you’ve always wanted to try dog sports like agility. Juniper would be perfect! And best of all, Juniper has a very sweet disposition with every person she meets. She craves attention from her people and will be a loyal companion for years to come! She would be perfectly content being an only dog or possibly one other canine companion that suits her fancy. She's doggy selective, and would need a little time to warm up to a new BFF once they know she's in charge of the playtime antics. Juniper is a year or two old, 40-45 lb.

Story
Meet Tatiana! 🌟This stunning 2-year-old, 40-pound Carolina Dog/Cattle Dog mix is ready to start a new chapter—and she’s hoping it’s with you! With her graceful frame and regal features, we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a little Pharaoh Hound in her lineage too. (We’d love if her future family did a DNA test and shared the results!) Tatiana was rescued just in time with her puppies when their time was up at the shelter. She was a devoted mama, and now that her pups are weaned and thriving, it’s finally her turn to be doted on. She’s gentle, loving, and friendly with everyone she meets—dogs and humans alike! Tatiana loves playing and romping with her doggy friends but also has a calm, sweet side that makes her the perfect companion. Ready to give a deserving mama the happily-ever-after she’s earned? Tatiana can’t wait to meet you.

These pups are in St Anthony, Minnesota too!

Story
Odin is a 5 year olds, neutered male black bi Australian Shepherd. He is 37 pounds, housebroke, good with cats, and likes people but is bit nervous around strangers. He does pull on leash some, is well mannered in the house and can sit, down and shake. Odin is currently living in a foster with 6 other dogs with no issues. Odin was a transfer from a shelter in Iowa due to the fact that he has issues with body handling and needs some work in cooperative care to get him comfortable with grooming and vet visits. His foster is working on muzzle training and desensitizing him to brushing. Odin is very treat motivated and loves his training sessions on the grooming table. Scroll down on our facebook to see a live session on cooperative care using Odin as a demo. In that video I mention that Odin is headed to a new home. We took him there but the resident dog and Odin decided very quickly that they did not want to share a home and he came back to his foster the same day. The details: Needs fence: no, but unsure how he is off leash Good with dogs: yes, actively avoids conflict in house with 6 other dogs. Good with cats: yes Good with kids: likely not due to issues with bodily handling. Older kids would be fine. All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. We need an approved application on file to set up a meeting with a dog you might be interested in. You can find our application at www.aussierescuemn.com. All dogs have an adoption fee of $400 plus MN sales tax. We pride ourselves on matches that are awesome for both the dog and your family. Aussie Rescue of MN is here for support, advice and as a safety net for our dogs for the rest of their lives.

Story
Eunice came to rescue from Animal Control. She is a spayed female black tri Australian Shepherd, approximately a little over a year old. Eunice is a high energy dog whose foster has worked hard on her tendency to jump on people, so this behavior is much more controlled. She will sit and lie down on command as it is her opinion that these are fun tricks to do! She loves her stuffed toys but does have to monitored when she has them as to not shred them to pieces. (This is why we can't have nice things Eunice... you need to be nice to your toys if you want them to last Eunice...) She loves to be pet and talked to - her foster has been working on her house manners, observing her to be well-intentioned but a diamond in the rough. She needs a home that will enjoy training her and she loves to learn. She does have an off switch - she will enjoy herself on the deck and watch the birds. She loves her crate and has learned to "wait" to come out. She also was recently groomed and was a very good girl for the groomer. The details: Needs fence: Likely no, but needs established trust before being off lead Good with dogs: Yes, better with neutral dogs Good with cats: Not really; does like to chase those that run Good with kids: Seems to be All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. We need an approved application on file to set up a meeting with a dog you might be interested in. You can find our application at www.aussierescuemn.com. Story
Meet Marti! Marti is a 5 year old, neutered, double merle, male, who came to us almost completely feral. He is a slightly pudgy 40 pounds, crate trained, house broke (but still leaks a little urine when sleeping although we haven't tried medication for that yet as it has been improving). As he is double merle he has some vision issues as well. Marti will need a very special owner that is willing to give him plenty of time to learn to trust. At his foster home Marti gets along with other dogs, is great with cats, and walks off leash in a rural setting. Marti is that lower energy aussie everyone's looking for and would like a quiet home. Marti will need more training in cooperative Care which his foster is working on and is easy to implement. The details: Needs Fence: Depends on setting (needs to gain trust to be leashed, fence necessary in busier area) Good With Dogs: Yes Good With People: Needs patience Good with cats: Yes All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers.
