My name is Flatiron. It is. Really. I didn't choose it but I can tell you what. You will remember it, won't you? You might not remember "Daisy," "Buddy," "Max" or "Duke" but you will remember my name! I appreciate my name might never be duplicated! That being said, my name is awesome and so am I. I am about 7 years old but you wouldn't know it. Technically I am a mature adult but I can bounce around like a young lad! I am just under 50 lbs and we think I am a mix of maybe Cattle Dog, maybe Collie, maybe Aussie, maybe Chow? I am good with cats and dogs and I love to run around, play fetch, tug and interact with all of them. I also live with children under 7 and I am great with them too. I am housebroken and crate trained. I do need a little leash work and how to be more comfortable while walking on that thing, but I will learn. Hello! My name is Banshee, but don’t let my name fool you. I’m a cute, cuddly, and quiet little girl. My favorite thing to do is whatever you are doing! I love to follow you around the house, be pet, nap, and learn new tricks (I`ve mastered sit, wait, down, recall, and am working on shake). When I first arrived at my foster house, I was still very scared of walking near cars or getting in one. But now, I get excited to jump into the car and head to the park! I prefer hiking in the woods where I can smell squirrels and other dogs, but I`m also getting more comfortable walking on neighborhood roads. I use the bathroom outside and behave very well in my foster home, without chewing any items, making noise, or having accidents. My late husband and I rescued Stella during Covid. She is a wonderful loving dog. After loosing my husband 2 years ago I realized that she is too much for me alone. I’ve had her in doggie daycare and she does great. Yet at home while walking her she is aggressive with other dogs. I find it very difficult to handle her at times. Ii am 70 years old and small. She is hard to handle for me. She listens to commands and is completely housebroken. Sleeps with me and is great company. This is a very difficult decision for me but she would be happier with a younger family that has more time and patience for her.

Meet Cheery! Cherry is a 3-year-old, 60-lb female Red Heeler who loves lots of exercise, would love a job, and will reward her human with cuddles, kisses, and companionship. She is a typical Heeler - incredibly smart, wants to perform, and is the ultimate protector! If a long walk or hike is your thing, Cherry can't wait to join you. When you're done, she will happily snuggle with you on the couch and give you lots of hugs and kisses to let you know how much she appreciates you. She can get overstimulated by lots going on in her home so she should be the only pet and would prefer to live in a home with adults (older kids may be okay).
