Story
Goose is a 1.5 year old Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix. We received him from a friend who trains dogs. He knows the commands Sit, Stay, Wait, Down (lay down), Come, Off (get off furniture or people), and Go to Bed. He is crate trained, house broken, leash trained, and has been trained not to get on the couch or bed. He is a sweet friendly dog who loves activity and people. Goose needs a family with older children that can play and run around with him or a family that is very active and willing to take him along for the ride! He loves a great game of fetch and to go on runs or walks.

Story
We just welcomed our third child into our family and have the sweetest dog anyone could ever want but unfortunately we don’t have the time to give her the full life she needs. We’re not in a rush to adopt her and are looking for a family who has the time and possibly older children to spend quality time with her. Bijou is a calm, loving dog who knows basic commands and would benefit from some obedience training. She loves other dogs and is great with cats and children.

Max is a happy outgoing boy. If you need a guard dog, he’s not it. 😅 He doesn’t know a stranger and he thinks he’s a lap dog. He was born in sept of 22. He loves to play with kids and other animals/dogs. We love him so much but I have recently moved and he is in a temporary home. He needs a family with kids and or other animals. Having a yard is mandatory. I want him to have a happy life 🥺

Story
Oh my! This beautiful little girl will melt your heart. She has the sweetest disposition and loves to snuggle when she’s tired. She’s a typical puppy and has a lot of energy. She’s only 6 weeks old so she will need someone to be home with her the majority of the time. No apartments for this girl. She is doing quite well with her crate training but is very vocal when she wants out. She’s very social and loves everyone and everything. She needs someone that will take the time and energy it takes to train a young puppy. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
