Story
Goose is a 1.5 year old Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix. We received him from a friend who trains dogs. He knows the commands Sit, Stay, Wait, Down (lay down), Come, Off (get off furniture or people), and Go to Bed. He is crate trained, house broken, leash trained, and has been trained not to get on the couch or bed. He is a sweet friendly dog who loves activity and people. Goose needs a family with older children that can play and run around with him or a family that is very active and willing to take him along for the ride! He loves a great game of fetch and to go on runs or walks.

Story
LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME. We are absolutely devastated to have to find a new family for our girl. However she can no longer be trusted around our toddler despite training and behavior management and we need to prioritize our babies safety. SCOUT is 7 years old. GSD/MINI Australian SHEPHERD MIX. Located in Flowery Branch GA She's a fabulous couch potato but also love walks. Scout is a rescue and has always been an anxious dog and can be reactive towards children or other pets. She has one leg thats not as long as the others (grew that way, missing growth plate) which gives her a little hobble. Scout is a bite risk for younger children and only tolerates some dogs but she's a sweetheart to her people and needs a loving/firm hand. She'll be your best friend if you're a child free home, love short walks/long hikes or have older children she can snuggle with.

Story
Bubba is a pure breed, just turned 4 years old. He is Intact. He is a gentle giant, he's a big boy that loves spending time with you as y'all binge watch TV. Bubba is very protective of his house and very playful, but he is not a big fan of rain or baths. He will NOT be required to be neutered if new owner does not want to. **Adoption fee is negotiable** It is with a very heavy heart we pursue re-homing him. Unfortunately, Bubba is also an attention hog and has not been getting along with our youngest child for the past year or so. He will growl and it scares our child. While he has never bitten, he's been becoming increasing overprotective and jealous. That's what lead us to making the hard decision looking to re-homed him as a proactive measure. We have had Bubba since he was 13 weeks old. He knows his basic commands very well and will do anything for a treat. He is also crate trained. He's not very accepting of other animals and seems not to enjoy the idea of children.

Story
- Fenced-In Yard Required - Experienced Owner Needed - No small/young children Meet Luna! Luna is a sweet and sensitive girl who thrives with routine and gentle guidance. While she can be shy around men at first, she warms up with patience and the chance to approach at her own pace. Once she’s comfortable, Luna shines—she loves tug, fetch, scent games, and puzzle toys that keep her mind and body engaged. She’s fully housetrained and knows several commands including sit, down, stay, here, fetch, find it, give/drop it, out/potty, and crate. If she doesn’t have access to a doggie door, she’ll be sure to let you know when she needs to go out! Luna enjoys car rides, chewing on yak cheese or bully sticks, and snuggling with her people. She’s great with most dogs—big or small—and gently sets boundaries if needed. She’s on medication for separation anxiety, which is helping, and she responds well to calm reassurance when she gets anxious or alert barks. Her favorite treat? Pup cups and whipped cream—those are the way to her heart! Luna is looking for a patient, loving home that can offer consistency, kindness, and understanding. In return, she’ll be your loyal and affectionate companion. Luna weighs 33lbs., is approximately 4 years old (est. birth date 07/26/2020), and her adoption fee is $315. Luna has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Luna, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. Meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.
