Story
Meet Skyler Skyler is a 7-year-old female Australian Shepherd with the perfect blend of grace, brains and heart. At that wonderful, settled age where the puppy chaos is long gone, she’s all about companionship, loyalty and being near her people. Like many Aussies, Skyler is smart and attentive, the kind of dog who watches you closely and seems to understand more than you say out loud. She’s past the wild child phase and ready to be someone’s steady shadow, walking buddy and couch-side best friend. Whether it’s a relaxed stroll, a car ride adventure or simply hanging out at home, Skyler’s happy place is wherever her humans are. She’s the kind of soulful girl who will look at you like you’re her whole world — because to her, you are. ##2651769##

Story
Meet Grizelda, a stunning blend of Miniature Australian Shepherd and Catahoula Leopard Dog whose beauty is matched only by her devotion. A true family-oriented girl, Grizelda is the ultimate "welcome home" committee; the way she greets you will never get old, as she immediately wiggles onto her back with a huge smile to show you exactly how much she missed you. While she can be a little shy and timid at first—warming up to women a bit faster than men—it doesn’t take long for her sweet nature to shine through. She thrives on a routine of snacks (especially her favorites: apples and cantaloupe!), play, and heavy cuddle sessions. Grizelda is a "velcro dog" who loves to be near her people, often curling up by your feet or burrowing into her cherished blankets, which are a must-have for this girl who isn't a fan of the cold! Story
Meet Hilda, a young pup who is the perfect blend of spunk and total sweetheart. She is a quiet, loyal companion who doesn't just want a home—she craves a best friend to shower with hugs. While she has plenty of speed for sprinting around the yard or hiking through the woods, she is incredibly well-mannered on the leash, preferring to walk directly behind your heels rather than pulling ahead. Hilda is a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs and likes every person she meets with time. Because she is so eager to please and thrives on companionship, she’s looking for a family where she won’t be left alone all day—whether that means a playful canine sibling to keep her company or a human who is home often. Whether she’s snooping for treats, learning new commands, or snuggling up in your bed at night, Hilda’s sweet nature and unwavering loyalty will make her the ultimate addition to a loving home. He knows the commands Sit, Stay, Wait, Down (lay down), Come, Off (get off furniture or people), and Go to Bed. He is crate trained, house broken, leash trained, and has been trained not to get on the couch or bed. He is a sweet friendly dog who loves activity and people. Goose needs a family with older children that can play and run around with him or a family that is very active and willing to take him along for the ride! He loves a great game of fetch and to go on runs or walks.

Ollie is a 50lb, purebred Australian Shepherd. He is a playful boy who loves his ball, walks, hikes, and jogs. He is perfectly behaved with all animals, dogs, and cats, regardless of size. Ollie is very smart and learns quickly. He knows most basic commands, is very praise motivated, and would learn any new job or task easily. Ollie is crate & house trained. His groomer says he is the best-behaved dog she sees! He is initially shy, but once he bonds with his people, Ollie is a total velcro lover boy.

She is about 2-3 yrs old. She gets along with all dogs but does have a high prey drive so small fluffy dogs and cats would not be good housemates. All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter. We only rescue from Animal Control and cannot accept lost, hurt or unwanted pets from individuals.  We are a licensed non-profit no-kill shelter.September 15, 2025, 11:53 am
