Despite everything he's been through, he remains a gentle, loving soul who is ready to find the safe and peaceful forever home he deserves. This sweet boy gets along well with other cats and dogs, but what Paulo truly loves most is his person. Once he trusts you, he'll happily become your loyal shadow, always nearby and soaking up your companionship. Paulo isn't looking for a busy household or an action-packed lifestyle. He prefers calm over chaos and would do best in an adult home where he can relax, feel secure, and enjoy life's simple pleasures. He isn't bad with children—he simply thrives in a quieter environment where he can settle in at his own pace. Like many dogs who have experienced uncertainty, Paulo takes a little time to warm up to new people and situations. But if you're willing to give him patience, understanding, and love, you'll discover a devoted companion with a heart full of affection. Paulo has already overcome so much.
