This sweet senior lady lives for attention and would happily make being the center of the universe her full-time job. Beatrice gets around on her adorably short, stubby legs, waddling her way straight into your heart. And true to her beagle roots, she’s got plenty to say about everything—she’s a world-class talker with that classic beagle mouth, always ready to share her thoughts. Affectionate, charming, and full of character, Beatrice is the kind of dog who makes every day a little brighter just by being around. Story
Melly has been a special addition to our family for about 6 years. Due to unforeseen family health circumstances, we’re heartbroken to have to rehome him. Melly is just a huge love bug. He adores cuddling in warm, cozy spots and wants all the affection you can give. He’s an old soul who thrives on close companionship. Melly is wonderful with children, but would likely prefer a calm, peaceful household at this stage of life. He likes to stay within eyesight and will experience separation anxiety when left alone. Preferably someone who works from home and can take him everywhere, as he cannot be left alone due to his separation anxiety. Another dog in the home would likely keep him calm and give companionship for the potential of leaving him. He’s fully house- and crate-trained. Melly has a history of Lyme disease, so his joints occasionally bother him—especially during cold or rainy weather—but he manages well with love and care. Melly is gun shy and CANNOT be used as a hunting dog.

She was obviously very much loved in her previous home, but sadly, her mom passed away. Now, at 8 years old, Cori is looking for a forever home where she can be spoiled again. An adult-only home where she can have ample time to settle in would be best for Cori. She would prefer a quiet lifestyle (no cities or busy neighborhoods for Cori) and would like to be the only dog in the household. That being said, Cori enjoys her visits to doggy daycare where she can socialize with other dogs. Cori also does well with cats. Cori will thrive in a home where she has a regular routine and will be walked daily so her beagle nose can be used to its fullest potential. She’s house trained, but she doesn’t potty on leash, so a fenced yard is a must. Car rides with Cori are a breeze – she’s the perfect passenger when it’s time to hit the road! Because Cori was displaying some behavior that we wanted to better understand, we sent her to a certified professional dog trainer. Cori was already on medication for general anxiety, and she underwent thorough behavioral and medical evaluations to determine if there was something else that was affecting her behavior. We discovered that Cori’s underbite was causing a lot of jaw pain, and her discomfort was affecting how she interacted with the world. Since starting daily anti-inflammatory medication, Cori has bloomed beautifully. According to her trainer, she now has a good appetite and is a “total foodie.” Her confidence has increased, she’s more playful and more at ease meeting new people, and she has learned to ignore distractions while she’s on leash. COOKIE (female) 7 years Attributes: Likes car rides Good with kids over 4 yrs House trained Likes cats Dog friendly Medium energy Will potty on leash Cookie is a beautiful lemon Beagle who just turned 7 years old on Dec 28th. She is 27 pounds of snuggle bug extraordinaire!! Cookie was taken from her family and placed in a shelter for a couple of months where she started to deteriorate leaving her with trust and confidence issues. She does NOT like being alone but will tolerate for a couple of hours. Gets along with other dogs but doesn't engage in play. Lives with 4 resident cats in her foster home with no issues. She is house trained and will potty on leash while enjoying her walks in the woods. Loves to have her head out the car window for a bit then lays down in the seat to rest. Does well with children over 4 years old. She sleeps all night in her bed but would love to cuddle in the big bed if allowed! Low to medium energy, she sleeps a lot during the day but always up for a walk! If you are looking for the sweetest little lovey and would like to help her gain trust and confidence then she will be your best companion. I’m searching for a family to spoil and pamper me at all times of the day and night. In return I promise to give lots of beagle kisses, cuddles, playfulness and entertaining beagle antics. I love to be picked up, carried around, snuggled and given lots of back scratches and belly rubs. My foster mom says I’m the most affectionate beagle she’s ever had. I do love my humans! If you want to become my permanent human, you will have to say goodbye to your personal space. I follow foster mom all around the house and whine if I can’t be in the same room with her. I could use a little help with my separation anxiety, but I am a real sweetheart. I can’t stress enough how much I love to snuggle and give kisses. I am great with other dogs. I’m even happy to share my human’s lap with other dogs. I just squeeze myself right in there and get some snuggles from both my human and my beagle sibling. I would really enjoy having another energetic young dog to play chase and bitey-face with me. I LOVE to run and play. My favorite toys are stuffies – durable ones or else I shred them. Stealing socks and slippers is one of my many talents. Foster Mom says now that I know I’m safe, I’m reliving my puppy days. I do not like crates. During the day, I do NOT like to be away from my humans as it makes me anxious. I would not do well with long periods of alone time. At night I sleep in the big bed with the humans. I am a great car rider. I am still working on potty training. This is another area where I would be helped by having another dog in the house to show me the ropes. I am quite the follower and like to do what the other dogs do. I’m generally submissive towards other dogs. Please consider becoming my lifelong human family. Love and kisses, Arrow. She came to us as a stray and was understandably very nervous at first, unsure if people could be trusted. While she still needs time to warm up to new faces, once you earn her trust, she gives it wholeheartedly. Shakira forms deep bonds and will love you like no other. She's happiest snuggled up on the couch with her favorite humans or zooming around the yard, soaking up life with joy. Shakira absolutely loves her dog foster brothers, so having another playful dog in the home is a must for her—she thrives with a canine companion to help build her confidence and burn off energy. Shakira is potty trained, crate trained, and highly food motivated, which makes her a quick learner. She's high energy but knows how to settle and relax, especially after playtime or a good walk. One of her most endearing traits is how excited she gets to greet her favorite humans in the morning—her happiness is contagious. She does well with small children once she gets to know them, but she can be a bit nervous around teenagers and may need patience and gentle introductions. Shakira loves going on walks and is learning her leash manners, though she's still prone to the occasional sudden lurch when an interesting smell catches her attention. With patience, love, and a playful dog sibling by her side, Shakira will blossom into an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion. She's a special girl just waiting for the right home to truly shine.
