Hi, I’m Annie Mae! I’m a total rockstar — a social butterfly with higher energy who would happily run all day if you let me. I’m crazy smart and could easily be trained for agility, sports, or even service work. I’m potty trained, leash trained, dog friendly, and great with kids. I LOVE balls and playtime, and I thrive when I have a job or activity to keep my mind busy. If you want an energetic, intelligent, and playful companion who will keep you on your toes, I’m the one! Before coming here, I had quite the journey. I arrived with eight puppies and was severely malnourished, having clearly put everything she had into caring for her babies. The man who brought me in handled me roughly, but despite that, I have remained incredibly sweet, affectionate, and trusting. My resilience and loving nature really shine through, and I’m ready for a future where I get to be cared for just as much as I care for others. I am currently located in Texas but am available for adoption in multiple states across the country. My out of state adoption fee is $750. This fee helps cover the cost of care while I was at the shelter AND the cost of transporting me home! This includes: spay/neuter, if unaltered upon intake. age-appropriate vaccinations during time in care. a registered microchip if unchipped upon intake. a heartworm test if over six months of age. current flea/tick prevention during time in care. 3(+) broad spectrum deworming treatment. any medical expenses while in care. a health certificate for travel. the cost of travel (drivers, gas, and vehicle maintenance if via our route, or up to $200 in crate rental fees if on another transporter’s route!) Every adoption through the SPCA of Brazoria County also come with a PetSmart adoption kit, and some coupons for PetCo! Stetson came to rescue with his three siblings, all of whom needed time, patience, and some serious grooming. Behind those alert ears and beautiful eyes is a young dog who deserves a chance to build confidence at his own pace. His ideal family will understand the Husky personality, appreciate the importance of positive training, and be willing to celebrate progress rather than demand perfection. Cowboy hat optional. Some dogs have movie-star looks. Sander has the entire fluffy leading-man package. With his warm reddish coat, expressive eyes, and wonderfully plush fur, this young Husky is hard to overlook. But Sander is looking for someone interested in getting to know the dog behind that beautiful face. Like his siblings, Sander arrived in rescue frightened and needing care. His next chapter should be filled with kindness, predictable routines, and opportunities to discover new things without being overwhelmed. He'll need a family prepared for the exercise, enrichment, and training that come with a young Husky, along with the patience to let a relationship develop naturally. The best friendships aren't always instant. Some are built one good experience at a time.

Our community helped choose Shiloh's name. Now we're hoping someone will help her write the next chapter of her story. Shiloh is the striking black-and-white, blue-eyed girl of our S litter. She's absolutely gorgeous, but her journey to rescue wasn't an easy one. She and her brothers arrived fearful of people and needing some extra attention. Shiloh deserves a family that sees beyond those beautiful blue eyes and understands that building confidence takes patience. Gentle introductions, positive experiences, and a consistent routine will be important as she adjusts to a new home. She's looking for someone who understands Huskies and is ready to offer the time, training, and understanding that a young dog with an uncertain beginning deserves. Her name was chosen with love. Her future can be, too.
