Story
Hi, I’m Annie Mae! I’m a total rockstar — a social butterfly with higher energy who would happily run all day if you let me. I’m crazy smart and could easily be trained for agility, sports, or even service work. I’m potty trained, leash trained, dog friendly, and great with kids. I LOVE balls and playtime, and I thrive when I have a job or activity to keep my mind busy. If you want an energetic, intelligent, and playful companion who will keep you on your toes, I’m the one! Before coming here, I had quite the journey. I arrived with eight puppies and was severely malnourished, having clearly put everything she had into caring for her babies. The man who brought me in handled me roughly, but despite that, I have remained incredibly sweet, affectionate, and trusting. My resilience and loving nature really shine through, and I’m ready for a future where I get to be cared for just as much as I care for others. I am currently located in Texas but am available for adoption in multiple states across the country. My out of state adoption fee is $750. This fee helps cover the cost of care while I was at the shelter AND the cost of transporting me home! This includes: spay/neuter, if unaltered upon intake. age-appropriate vaccinations during time in care. a registered microchip if unchipped upon intake. a heartworm test if over six months of age. current flea/tick prevention during time in care. 3(+) broad spectrum deworming treatment. any medical expenses while in care. a health certificate for travel. the cost of travel (drivers, gas, and vehicle maintenance if via our route, or up to $200 in crate rental fees if on another transporter’s route!) Every adoption through the SPCA of Brazoria County also come with a PetSmart adoption kit, and some coupons for PetCo! Our first meeting/interview for adoption occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Apply to adopt me at https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/BRAZ/27759-long-distance-adopt-app. If you have questions, please email jami@spcabc.org.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. 💙 Name: Heuk-kong 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 5 months old (Born in February 2026) 💙 Weight: 10 kg / 22.05 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1️⃣ Health Condition * Too young to be neutered. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Heuk-kong and his sibling, #AdogsBaekkhong, were born to their mother, #AdogsBaekseol. The little puppies were found clinging tightly to their mother, who was tied up in a landfill-like environment, surviving on food scraps. Deeply moved by how these innocent puppies never lost their bright spirits despite such harsh surroundings, Adogs quickly stepped in to urgently rescue them. 3️⃣ Basic Information ❗As an infant puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, teething/mouthing, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling, or barking. ❗It is highly difficult to predict his future shedding level or final adult size because his parents are unknown. ❗Puppies grow at an incredibly rapid rate until about 10 months of age. Therefore, his current appearance in person may differ slightly from his earlier puppy photos. * With People: Is an incredibly friendly and outgoing boy who approaches strangers without a single moment of hesitation! Comfortably accepts being held and tolerates rough handling with ease, all without any barking. Once he is familiar with someone, he enthusiastically rushes over to beg for pets and displays his sweet charms. * With Dogs: Coexists wonderfully and socially with his canine companions, maintaining peaceful and smooth relationships with his center mates. * With Cats: Has not met a cat yet. * Separation Anxiety: Currently unknown due to the communal center environment. Age-appropriate training will be recommended once he transitions into a home. * Potty Training: Currently practices outdoor elimination at our center. A change in environment will require a patient training. * Hygiene: Handles brushing exceptionally well. * Walks: Has no outdoor walking experience yet, as his puppy vaccination series is still incomplete. * Car Sickness: Travels well in vehicles without displaying any signs of motion sickness during short-distance trips. * Is currently in his teething phase, so he displays typical puppy mouthing and light nipping behavior. * Is very quiet and has not displayed any barking or whining at our center. However, consistent vocal guidance may be needed upon settling into a household. * Absolutely loves romping around and playing with his dog friends, and is highly food-motivated by delicious treats. * Tends to dislike being confined or placed in tight spaces. * Is a textbook social puppy who genuinely adores both humans and other dogs. Adapts remarkably fast to new surroundings, possesses endless charm, and brings radiant energy to everyone around him with his bright, sunshiny disposition.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 💙 Name: Hayoon 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 3 years old (Born July 2023) 💙 Weight: 12 kg (approx. 26.5 lbs) 💙 Hayoon's Personal News Account: @hy260801 💙 English Profile: @_adogs_rescue 1. Medical History * Neuter Status: Completed * Microchip: Registered (Internal chip completed) * Other Notes: Heartworm negative 2. Rescue Story Hayoon was living at the Jeongeup Shelter. For nearly two years in shelter care, no family came forward to open their home to her, and she was ultimately placed on the euthanasia list. Unable to leave her behind, ADOGS acted quickly to rescue her. 3. Personality & Characteristics * Interaction with Humans: She is naturally shy and cautious, getting easily startled by sudden movements. However, if you approach her slowly, she will allow physical affection. She can get flustered or frightened if you try to pick her up or handle her beyond gentle pets. * Interaction with Dogs: She doesn't actively initiate contact with other dogs, but she actually feels more relaxed around dog friends than around humans. Even when over-enthusiastic dogs approach her, she stays calm and composed without getting angry. * Interaction with Cats: She has not yet been introduced to cats. * Separation Anxiety: She handles being left alone well without separation anxiety. * Potty Training: She strongly prefers outdoor potty breaks and rarely uses indoor pee pads. Because she gets easily startled by ambient noise, she eliminates best in quiet surroundings. * Grooming & Hygiene: While she finds baths, blow-drying, and brushing a bit uncomfortable, she stays patient and tolerates them well. She is particularly sensitive around her feet and rear end, so nail trims and bath time require extra gentleness. She completes sanitary baths at professional grooming salons without major issues. * Leash Walking: She does not have outdoor leash walking experience yet. * Motion Sickness: She showed no signs of car sickness during travel. * Biting/Defensive Reactions: When she feels uncomfortable or overwhelmed, she may gently rest her open mouth against a hand as a soft warning, though she does not bite down. * Barking: She has shown no barking or whining behavior. * Dislikes: She is fearful of sudden movements, unexpected noises, and car traffic sounds. She also feels uncomfortable if forced to move away from where she is resting. * Personality: She is timid and attentive to her surroundings, yet she doesn't shy away from gentle human touch and tries to enjoy the affection. Even when uncomfortable, she rarely makes a fuss and remains remarkably quiet and gentle. When other dogs get overly pushy, she simply stays calm or quietly steps aside.

Meet Yeonhwa💛 💙 Name: Yeonhwa 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 2 years old (Born May 2024) 💙 Weight: 13 kg (approx. 28.7 lbs) 💙 Yeonhwa's Personal News Account: @heo.yu98 1. Medical History * Spayed. * Microchipped and heartworm negative. 2. Rescue Story * Yeonhwa was born on May 5, 2024, at the White Dove Shelter in Busan. At the time, the shelter's conditions were so severely neglected that many animals were sadly starving to death. Adogs urgently stepped in to save Yeonhwa and bring her to safety. 3. Personality & Characteristics * Interaction with Humans: Tends to be shy and fearful at first. Barks with a bit of caution when a stranger comes into the house. When meeting someone outside or if a passerby approaches, she may give a soft warning growl initially, but has absolutely zero aggression. If you play with her using treats, she will quickly remember you and warm up! Once comfortable, she turns into a massive sweetheart who asks for head scratches and gives lots of kisses. * Interaction with Dogs: Approaches new dog friends with polite manners and generally feels more comfortable spending time one-on-one rather than in large groups. Gets tense if dogs rush at her or if multiple dogs crowd around her at once. However, if no one is running at her, she roams around comfortably on her own. When a new dog visits her home, she will sniff them thoroughly, play along well, and get along nicely, even with younger puppies. * Interaction with Cats: Tends to chase cats when she encounters them in the yard or during walks. * Separation Anxiety: Stays by herself wonderfully without any signs of separation anxiety. * Potty Training: Does great with both indoor and outdoor potty habits! Reliably uses pee pads indoors, as well as going in the yard or during walks. * Grooming & Hygiene: While she doesn't love baths, blow-drying, or brushing, she tolerates them well. Tries to slip away during nail trims, but stays patient if you soothe her. Dislikes toothbrushing, but tolerates it so well that her caretakers brush her teeth regularly every 2 to 3 days. * Leash Walking: Used to pull on the leash when she wanted to sniff something, but her walking manners have improved significantly. However, extra caution is needed because she still has a tendency to chase after birds and cats. * Motion Sickness: Experiences car sickness and vomits on car rides lasting longer than 10 minutes. * Biting/Aggression: Has never shown any biting or aggressive behavior. * Barking: Barks and growls when strangers pass by the house or step inside. Also occasionally whines by the door when she wants to go out and play in the yard. * Likes: Loves meat-based treats! Also adores squeaky toys. * Dislikes: Tries to avoid getting her nails trimmed and dislikes brushing her teeth. Also feels uncomfortable when strangers approach her too forcefully or quickly. * Special Tricks: Knows "Sit," "Paw," and "Kiss"! * Personality: While she carries a bit of initial caution and fear, she is a lively, mature, and independent girl. Is an absolute cuddle bug who loves showering her humans with kisses.

Story
Muchacho is a young (1.5-2 YO approx.) mixed medium boy (last weighed 44 lbs, now 45-55 lbs.), with a brindle coat and the sweetest brown eyes. He is house-trained (up to 6 hours free-bird, up to 8 in crate), potty-trained, knows Sit, Paw (Shakes Hand), is working on Wait (Stay) and Gentle (touch nose, not grab with teeth). He is VERY food-motivated, a lapdog, a sous chef. Muchacho loves the girls, the gays and the theys, and warms up to the he/hims slowly. He loves to be by your side at all times, separation makes him anxious. He is a big nippy thief, of socks and shoes and kitchen towels and pillows, even if they are too big to carry. He loves playing with balls, tug of war, and destroying even the toughest toys. He is super friendly to other dogs when not on leash, is loving daycare and dog parks. He is a handsome boy who needs a companion with more time, energy, and dedication to his training. My ex surrendered Chacho to me to rehome to a more fitting household after he left WA.

Story
Location - in a foster home. From his foster parent:If I`m home, he does whatever I`m doing and follows me around to see what`s going on. He also loves looking out the window or sitting on the deck to watch the world go by. He is very aware of everything that is going on nearby. He appreciates frequent play breaks, like a good game of fetch or tug-of-war. He is also down for a good midday nap. If I`m not home, he hangs out in the bathroom and I feel very comfortable leaving him alone. He doesn`t destroy things and doesn`t dig in the trash. He has excellent house manners! He does like to sleep on the bed or couch, which I also like. He can be very snuggly when sleeping at night and if it`s cold, likes to get under the covers too. Mylo is very playful and will try to sell you on a game of fetch whenever he sees the opportunity. He loves a durable stuffie and bonus if it squeaks. He also loves catching balls, tug-of-war with ropes, or working on a toy with hidden treats inside. He loves to be engaged, so any activity that keeps him active and his mind working is great. He also appreciates a good brushing session. He will even ask to be brushed if I forget to do it enough. Mylo LOVES to ride in the car and will sometimes air chomp at passing cars, which is really cute. One of the things I`ve been most impressed by with Mylo is his ability to communicate with me. Sometimes I feel like we are having actual conversations. He is so smart and will let you know when he needs or wants something. Another way he communicates is if I`m rubbing his belly and stop, he`ll hook my hand with his paw and bring it back to his belly for more scratches—so sweet. His most unique quirk is his love of pens, especially pens that click. He gets so excited every time he sees one in use and watches it so intently and with overflowing enthusiasm. It is hilarious! He also gets really excited about the rice cooker, hair dryer, and vacuum. Mylo is such a charmer with an engaging personality and a tender heart. Story
Meet Yogi! This wonderful boy has come so far! His story is amazing and we are so proud of him. Yogi was locked in a barn for the first year of his life. He never saw the sun, never touched grass, never got to meet people or other dogs. He was very shut down when he arrived and we have spent many months working with him. Slowly but surely Yogi has come out of his shell. For the past few months he has been fostered by our trainer Melissa and Yogi has made even more leaps and bounds. This boy is so so sweet, so gentle, so kind. You can't help but fall in love with him.  Here is what his trainer/foster has to say about Yogi: Yogi (AKA The Yog-Meister, Yogurt, and Yogis) is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet! At 3yrs of age, Yogi is young and energetic, requiring a fenced yard for his daily "morning run". He loves a good game of tug, works for praise, and finds physical touch to be his preferred love language.  Yogi is as loyal as they come - he puts a lot of trust into his handler and feels the most safe around them. Having been found abandoned in a horse barn, he requires someone who will be patient in guiding him when experiencing the world beyond a horse barn stall.  Yogi will do best with someone who is physically active or can meet his mental & physical needs, including someone who may be interested in participating in dog sports such as Treibball or herding trials.  Yogi co-exists peacefully with our resident dog, a 6yr female mix with moderate energy - they will take turns chasing each other in the yard, play tug, then relax in the living room together.  Yogi has a customized training plan for his walks due to the excitement he feels when cars pass - his innate drive to chase can take over in these moments.  This dear boy will do best in a home without young children. He is still easily startled. A home with a secure yard is a must.  If you’re looking for your new best friend, Yogi would be so happy to share his love with you.  Yogi is vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is sponsored by a kind supporter.  We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! **About Bubu:** Thank you for interested in adopting Bubu. Please know that Bubu is an international rescue through Taiwan. When your application is approved, you will need to pick her up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, IAH, YVR, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we‘ve done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Meet Bubu: A Gentle Soul Looking for Her Forever Best Friend Bubu once had a home, but she was sadly abandoned simply because she grew "too big." Despite this heartbreak, Bubu remains a vibrant, confident, and well-mannered girl who holds no grudges—only love! Why you’ll fall in love with Bubu: Social Superstar: She gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes, cats, and children. Household Manners: She is house-trained and prefers going outside, but she’s also smart enough to use pee pads indoors if needed. The Perfect Walking Partner: She walks beautifully on a leash, though she does get a little "puppy-excited" when she sees a bird or squirrel to chase! Quiet & Friendly: She rarely barks and currently lives peacefully in a foster home with six dogs and two cats. A few quirks: Bubu is a "free spirit" who doesn't like being confined by playpens or fences—she’s quite the jumper! Because of this, we focus on crate training instead. Occasionally, if left alone, she might find a pen or a small box on the table to chew on, so she’d love a home that provides plenty of toys. Bubu is ready to find a family that will cherish her for the rest of her life. If you have room in your heart and home for this amazing girl, please contact us today!
