I’ve never truly had a home of my own. I don’t yet know what it feels like to curl up in “my” spot, to go on daily walks with “my” person, or to fall asleep each night knowing I am completely safe and loved. Hi, I’m Annie Mae! I’m a total rockstar — a social butterfly with higher energy who would happily run all day if you let me. I’m crazy smart and could easily be trained for agility, sports, or even service work. I’m potty trained, leash trained, dog friendly, and great with kids. I LOVE balls and playtime, and I thrive when I have a job or activity to keep my mind busy. If you want an energetic, intelligent, and playful companion who will keep you on your toes, I’m the one! Before coming here, I had quite the journey. I arrived with eight puppies and was severely malnourished, having clearly put everything she had into caring for her babies. The man who brought me in handled me roughly, but despite that, I have remained incredibly sweet, affectionate, and trusting.
