·Intake Reason: Surrendered, part of an unexpected litter. -Weight: 9.8 Known with:·Dogs: Good·Kids: Good·Cats: UnknownPuppies are magnificent! I am cute, rambunctious, lively and fun. I have so much to learn, discover and explore - just a tiny sponge who is ready to absorb everything you must teach me and show me. I am counting on you to help me safely navigate the world and experience new things each day to allow me to grow into a confident young dog. That isn’t as exotic and daunting a task as it might sound. Each day I just need to be introduced to one new thing like the sound of a vacuum, a blender or a doorbell, walking up and down a step, a ride in a car, hearing a motorcycle or a truck, going somewhere to see new people, even maneuvering a fallen log on a walk. You get the idea, so many things that seem common to you are completely new to me. Speaking of growing, I may be tiny now but I do plan on getting bigger so I would love to take obedience classes to learn proper manners and social skills. I also know I have to practice something called house-training, so I know proper potty behavior. A routine and lots of yummy treats and praise will go a long way to helping me master house-training when I potty outside. Puppies and dogs need love, exercise, mental stimulation and consistency to be healthy, happy and confident. I am typically very open to all sorts of housemates; I can be a bit mischievous and may find any other critter as a potential playmate so they will need to understand that about me. I often explore the world with my mouth and while I am teething, I like to chew; my little puppy teeth are very sharp so if I am around children we should always be supervised. It is important that children learn about respecting me, too, and treat me gently because I am fragile. Raising a puppy is a big responsibility, a lot of work, and it may interrupt your sleep cycle for a bit, but a courteous and well-behaved dog is certainly worth the investment, and I promise to be loyal, love you unconditionally and be a companion forever. I just know I will bring joy and laughter into your home and cannot wait to meet you. Let the adventures begin! #1

Story
Zayne is a 5-year-old Collie Blue Heeler mix seeking an experienced, adult-only home with no children and no other pets. Zayne requires a structured environment with a knowledgeable ownerZayne is highly intelligent, energetic, and loves being outdoors in all weather. He would do best on a farm, acreage, or rural property where he has space, routine, and activity. He bonds very strongly with his person and can be very protective.Zayne is not suitable for homes with children or other animals. He needs a committed, experienced adopter familiar with working breeds and behavior management.Serious inquiries only. My priority is finding a safe, appropriate placement for him.

After a difficult start in life and a long trip north, he is getting the opportunity to decompress, build confidence, and experience the comfort and stability of a home environment.Beckett is an 8–10-month-old Border Collie/Retriever mix who was found as a terrified stray alongside his two siblings in rural Georgia. The puppies were so frightened that they had to be safely captured using a live trap before they could be brought to safety.Since arriving at the shelter, Beckett made remarkable progress. While initially very fearful, he gradually learned to trust the people caring for him and began showing his sweet, gentle personality. Shelter staff watched him grow more comfortable each day and described him as a very nice boy who continued making positive strides. Now in foster care, Beckett is continuing that journey. As a young dog with an unknown background, he is still learning many of the basics and will benefit from patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement as he adjusts to his new surroundings. His foster family is helping him build confidence while learning more about his personality and needs.Beckett is dog friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs. He has not yet been tested with cats or children.Age: 8–10 monthsGender: MaleWeight: Approximately 40 lbsBreed: Border Collie/Retriever Mix (best guess)Neutered: YesPotty Trained: YesCrate Trained: LearningLeash Manners: ImprovingGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: Not testedGood with Kids: Not testedBeckett is now safe in Wisconsin and getting the fresh start he deserves. Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit.4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: For dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse $125 for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. We recommend going to HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI for the most affordable option. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, that works too!**Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**

You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on June 5th and arrive on June 6th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! These pups are great with other dogs and kids! These boys are looking for their forever families, their new best friends! Adoption Fee: $550We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. June 8, 2026, 8:33 am
