Story
·Intake Reason: Transfer from Louisiana·Weight: 68 lbs. Known with: ·Cats: Unknown ·Dogs: Played well with other females at WCHS ·Kids: Unknown ·Personality: ActiveHi, my name is Capora and I am a beautiful girl with an adorable crooked little smile. I learned that my name means ‘kind', ‘enormous' and ‘dynamic' and I think that describes me mostly. I say mostly because although I may not be a teacup dog, I am not sure I appreciate being called enormous, even though I may have a couple pounds I could lose. I do have a ginormous heart of gold, so perhaps that is what they were referencing. True to my heritage, I am intelligent and energetic; I like to learn, stay active and have a good time. I am a friendly and playful gal who is also affectionate and enjoys cuddles, scratches and snuggles. I already know the cues for ‘sit', ‘down' and ‘shake/paw'; I think with your patient and positive training I could master many more human words. Maybe we could take some classes together to increase my skillset; canine sports like agility, participating in rally or learning nose work would all be loads of fun. I think I would be happiest if I had a job or two so that I have outlets to burn my abundance of energy and do not get bored. I am sure you have heard the adage that a tired dog is a good dog and if I get plenty of exercise each day, I think I will be the best dog ever. Providing a foraging mat at mealtime and mentally challenging toys would also help keep my brain busy. I promise to be devoted and loyal and am quite confident that we can be BFFs; I would love to be your constant companion. Stop by to meet me in person and experience my exhilarating and dynamic personality for yourself; I think I will impress you.#2

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Puppies are magnificent! I am cute, rambunctious, lively and fun. I have so much to learn, discover and explore - just a tiny sponge who is ready to absorb everything you have to teach me and show me. I am counting on you to help me safely navigate the world and experience new things each day to allow me to grow into a confident young dog. That isn't as exotic and daunting a task as it might sound. Each day I just need to be introduced to one new thing like the sound of a vacuum, a blender or a door bell, walking up and down a step, a ride in a car, hearing a motorcycle or a truck, going somewhere to see new people, even maneuvering a fallen log on a walk. You get the idea, so many things that seem common to you are completely new to me. Speaking of growing, I may be tiny now but I do plan on getting bigger so I would love to take obedience classes to learn proper manners and social skills. I also know I have to practice something called house-training so I know proper potty behavior. A routine and lots of yummy treats and praise will go a long way to helping me master house-training when I potty outside. Puppies and dogs need love, exercise, mental stimulation and consistency to be healthy, happy and confident. I am typically very open to all sorts of housemates; I can be a bit mischievous and may find any other critter as a potential playmate so they will need to understand that about me. I often explore the world with my mouth and while I am teething I like to chew; my little puppy teeth are very sharp so if I am around children we should always be supervised. It is important that children learn about respecting me, too, and treat me gently because I am fragile. Raising a puppy is a big responsibility, a lot of work, and it may interrupt your sleep cycle for a bit, but a courteous and well-behaved dog is certainly worth the investment and I promise to be loyal, love you unconditionally and be a companion forever. I just know I will bring joy and laughter into your home and cannot wait to meet you. Let the adventures begin!
