Journey has been at the rescue for close to 3 years! Despite his lengthy stay he has continued to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. He is not only friendly towards humans, but also plays well with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for a multi-dog household. He is playful - loves toys. Journey also enjoys meeting new people, always hoping that one of the new humans will take him home. It is hard to believe that this friendly guy has been in rescue for most of his life. Is it because he isn't as pretty as some other dogs? It certainly isn't because of his behavior. Journey is waiting to have a home of his own with people who will provide him with the love and attention he deserves.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. Ollie is a young, active boy who loves to run around with other dogs. He enjoys attention from people. He gets along great with kids too. He would love an active family where ample exercise and mental stimulation will be provided. He wouldn't mind cleaning the floor under a highchair as his full-time job. He is being trained to walk on leash using a gentle leader. He is the best at it and would love to show you how well he does! Brandy is a 3 year old Boxer that is very sweet. I adopted her from a humane society at 8 months old. The only thing the humane society could tell me at the time was she didn’t have much or any socialization at that time. She is still shy around people but has never tried biting anyone when they would approach her to pet her. Her personality is laying next to me on the couch and loves being petted, she like a couch potato ,she very calm in the house except when it’s time to eat then she gets a little excited. She doesn’t chew on anything but her toys. She is completely potty trained. The only reason I need to rehome her is because my older dog is not getting along with her anymore and I’m afraid that my older dog is going to hurt her.

Citrus was living alone in an abandoned house with no doors or windows. We trapped her, and she got very upset. Citrus was growling for many many days, and did not allow any handling. She finally came around to trust us, and is now a loving sweetheart. Citrus wants an understanding foster-to-adopt home, who wants to baby her. She is estimated to be 2-4 years old, and a mix between English Bulldog and Boxer. Citrus has a classic cautious and disapproving yet personable English Bulldog personality, and the silly play style of a Boxer. We are looking for a household without children for Citrus. Leashed walks are fine, she does not require a fenced in yard. Citrus has dog friends at the shelter - but incorporating her into a home dynamic with other dogs will take weeks.
