Story
Do you like a smooshy face? Do you like to play fetch? Meet Dazee, AKA Piper. She is a 1 year old boxer weighing in at about 45 lbs. Dazee is the epitome of a boxer! She is good with other dogs that approach her. BUT, of course some boxer jumps and playfulness, too. She is spayed and chipped and vaccinated. Dazee does present with some protective behavior of her people so would do best in a home with no small kids and a family with time and patience to work with her to trust new people. Story
Bella is an adorable petite bunny-eared girl weighing just 42 pounds who is a sweet, wiggly, and shy lady, Bella doesn’t ask for much; she loves the simple things like hanging out with her family and going on walks. Bella has a reserved yet affectionate demeanor. Adopted in 2022 after being turned in to ACCTPhilly as a stray, Bella spent several happy years with her owner until they surrendered her back to the ACCT Philly in February 2026. When her second stay there became too long and with dozens of dogs entering the shelter daily, Bella was Timestamped. Fortunately, we were able to pull her and she is now blossoming in her foster home! Bella does have a noted history of resource guarding dating back to her original shelter stay, but with proper management and separation for meals and fun chews, she has shown she is completely capable of living with another dog and she has a history of being okay with cats. With her behavioral needs in mind, Bella requires a loving household that is equipped to manage her resource guarding, and ensure that any food or high-value items are given under supervision and while Bella is separated from any other resident pets. With additional training and proper management of her known behavioral needs, Bella is sure to bring light, love, and joy to her new family. Bella loves cuddles, loves going for walks and walks well on leash, loves to talk to her people using grunts and groans. Story
Meet Cyrus! This sweet boy originally came in as a stray, but is now ready to find a new forever home! He enjoys making friends and quickly warms up to anyone who gives him attention (and maybe some snacks!). Cyrus is very food motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience for both him and his people. He’s open to meeting savvy kids and other dogs, and is ready to bring love, loyalty, and a little treat-inspired fun into the life of the right family!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history._______________The Pennsylvania SPCA350 E Erie Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19134Kennel #3079

Story
Bonnie is a fantastic dog with humans. She is so loving and cuddly, and she would make a great pet to anyone who adopts her. I am rehoming her because she is reactive with other dogs and it has become too difficult walking her in the city. I have had her a couple of weeks and have realized that I am not equipped to train a reactive dog. If she goes to a home with no other dogs, she will thrive. My hope for her is that she is adopted to a home with a yard she can play in and minimal neighbors with dogs so she isn't being triggered everyday as I live in the city. She is house trained and her recall skills when not distracted by other dogs are strong and becoming stronger as I work with her. She is crate trained as well, and she loves giving kisses.

Story
Chango was originally someone else's and his name was Choppa. He was their pandemic puppy, born on May 20, 2020. Around the time other people were getting rid of their pandemic puppies, Chango was put up on Craigslist in January 2021 for free.Chango is very affectionate and is the best cuddle buddy. However, he is also very scared and can be aggressive when frightened. He has never bitten anyone, but a scared dog can bite.He is very smart and stubborn. He knows the rules but will break them unless supervised or on a leash. He lives with two other dogs and a cat. He must be on trazodone when introduced to new dogs, but once acclimated, he is fine without the medication.Chango is very good with children and never shows aggression or growls. However, he may try to dominate anyone, so he should not be left alone with young children who cannot push him off if he tries to mount them.
