Lydia loves people of all ages and is always ready to make new friends. Whether she’s at the vet or out at an event, she’s a social butterfly who wins hearts everywhere she goes. She’ll sit patiently for pets and might let out a soft little whimper if she thinks she’s being ignored — she just loves attention that much! Lydia gets along well with the male dogs she’s met and the puppies in her foster home. She can be selective with female dogs, and her reaction to cats is unknown. She’s both crate trained and housebroken, making her an easy addition to your home routine. Before joining Rescue330, Lydia was living outside in West Virginia. She is very food motivated, and she absolutely loves training sessions because boiled chicken is sooo yummy!! We are working on lady like leash manners while on walks, "leave it", "stay", "come", and today I taught Nova how to catch a frisbee because she loves water, and maybe she can be a dock dog!! I still need to test her with other dogs, but the animals shelter she came from said she seemed to be ok with them. I will still request a proper meet and greet if you have a dog already. Cats??? Sweet 2 year old Nala absolutely adores everyone she meets and loves being loved on!! Okay, so she's not a fan of cats AT ALL,, but she's otherwise a typical silly pit that doesn't have a mean bone in her body, and she LOVES BATHTIME!! Don't forget the rubber duckies! Nala has attended obedience training, and with structure and consistency she listens very well. She is still learning to not pull while on the leash, so her new owner should be able to handle a strong 68lb dog. She's improving with house training, and will need to be crated when first introduced into her new home, but that's perfectly fine with Nala because she does great in her crate. Nala wouldn't mind another doggie friend in the home, but not multiple dogs, and again, no cats please. Also kids must be 6 years or older please due to her accidently knocking smaller kids down. Nala's adoption fee is $150, and includes spay, up to date vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and endless love from SWEET NALA!!
