Ojabo is a sweet, young, energetic boy. He’s playful, loving, and smart. He was abandoned by his original owner and we took him in as a foster because he is a great of a dog and we didn’t want him to end up in a shelter. We would love to keep him but we have two other dogs (one with special needs) and we don’t have the time to give Ojabo the attention he deserves. He is crate trained, house broken, and knows basic commands but would benefit from a little more training. We want him to go to a loving home that can give him the time and attention he deserves. He still has a lot of puppy energy and loves to play! Walks, fetching, and cuddling are his favorite activities.

My name is Chloe, but I live with 2 other senior ladies. So, we have been named the Golden Girls, and I'm Rose!! And yes, I can be a bit ditzy, but beyond lovable!! My mommy says so, so I know it's true. I love laying on the couch next to my person. Just being a part of a family is really nice. Would you like to be my family? Chloe is an older lady just looking to relax! She rides ok in the car, but she shakes possiblyl fear of being dumped again. But she does do well in the car. A fenced yard would be ideal for her -- she loves to be in the sun running! Or just being lazy and soaking up the rays. She would do fine with other dogs and with children. Because of her size, she would probably play best with dogs 25 lb and up; however she gets along with dogs off all sizes and we always do meet and greets in the adoption process. She's obsessed with plush toys. She loves food. Aurora is very playful and gives kisses. She is a happy girl that is looking for her forever home! Aurora is a boxer mix that is estimated to be around 2 years old. She is spayed, Hw negative, and up to date on vaccinations. Please contact melissa (melissa@pawsandprayers.org) for more information about this pet.  Meet Paisley!  She is about 3 years old, weighs about 50 pounds, and is a boxer. Paisley is your typical bouncy boxer and is very friendly. She came to Paws and Prayers after having a few litters of pups. When we first met Paisley, she was nervous around other dogs, especially males, and did not know how to play. We assume she wasn't socialized well outside of breeding and taking care of her pups. Paisley has really come out of her shell and has learned the joys of playing with other dogs.  She can play a little rough, so she has to be matched with the appropriate playmate. When she is done playing, she loves to snuggle with her human and dog friends. Paisley gets along with the dogs she lives with.  While she gets along with the male dog she lives with, she does better with the females.  At times, she does not like that the male stares at her too long. We assume this is also due to a lack of socialization and/or from her breeding days. An experienced dog owner will be best for Paisley to watch her behavior in these situations. We were told Paisley lived with a 10 year old child previously.  She has not been around cats. Paisley is housebroken and crate trained. She does need a secure crate because she has escape skills! This kid is an absolute riot! He is a year old going on 3 months! Those long, clumsy legs of his gets him places so swiftly he’ll probably knock you down if you are in his way :)He is full of enthusiasm, playfulness, joy and absolute glee :) Every day is a good day for JuJu. Every day you will find JuJu romping around, exploring all he can explore, taking in all the sniffs and sights. When JuJu isn’t exploring, he is snuggling right next to you. He is noticeably more comfortable with women than men. Perhaps there was some mistreatment in his past by a man ? Treats with slow approach seems to be the trick at initial meets with men. Watch the puppy in him come out and soon his innate bouncy, happy self comes alive :) JuJu is about a year old, 60lbs Boxer Staffy mix. He is looking for an active home where his silly, bouncy, enthusiastic ways are embraced, cuddles and snuggles afterwards are met. JuJu has so much potential to be dynamite. He is a shiny star. He wants to shine with you.
