Meet Lydia!This 7-year-old boxer mix is the perfect blend of wiggles, smiles, and sweetness! Lydia has all the classic boxer charm — she’s friendly, affectionate, and full of happy energy. Lydia weighs just under 60 pounds. Lydia loves people of all ages and is always ready to make new friends. Whether she’s at the vet or out at an event, she’s a social butterfly who wins hearts everywhere she goes. She’ll sit patiently for pets and might let out a soft little whimper if she thinks she’s being ignored — she just loves attention that much! Lydia gets along well with the male dogs she’s met and the puppies in her foster home. She can be selective with female dogs, and her reaction to cats is unknown. She’s both crate trained and housebroken, making her an easy addition to your home routine. Before joining Rescue330, Lydia was living outside in West Virginia. Thanks to some kind rescuers, she’s now safe, loved, and ready for her forever home. She’s received excellent veterinary care, including being spayed and having some masses removed. Lydia doesn't let anything slow her down and is one of the most loving and happy dogs you will ever meet! Lydia is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $200. She is up to date on vaccines & vetting. She is very playful, with a quiet cuddly side. She is about 50 lbs, and aprox 1.5 years old. Gets along with other pups and is good around kids. She is in training currently, to learn how to harness her boundless energy & gain some leash manners. She knows some basic commands & is working on “leave it”. Her foster mom has had nothing but wonderful things to say about her. She is crate trained and house broken. She would be your perfect adventure dog, as she likes going for a swim in the river. One Dog`s Day Out person said, `When she encounters new objects or sounds on the walk, it helps her if you are patient and walk up to the object, so she knows it`s safe. Then let her explore it.` We believe she is housebroken, knows sit and down, loves to play tug-o-war and cuddling. On a staycation, she was described as being housebroken, active, loving to cuddle and knows her basic commands. She would like to be an only pet and kids 8+. Or as a staff member summed up, `She`s a good dog`.
