Meet the incredible purring Polydactyl (extra toes) boy, Moet’. He is searching for a forever home! This fabulous boy sparkles with love, has motor-boat purrs, rolls over for his human, and makes extra biscuits with his adorable paws! He’s a soulful companion, will greet you, and is a drama - free cat with a super-soft black fur. He absolutely loves to watch birds, and visits his cat scratchers with enthusiasm. He is also a real love bug who can easily be picked up and put in your lap for cuddles and pets, and leans into his human when you sit next to him. He loves to play — especially with wand toys , balls, and kicker toys! He would absolutely thrive being an only cat with someone to cuddle and play with him! Extremely people-oriented and wants nothing more than to be loved. Moet has been through a lot. When he wandered into our trap during a TNR project in the neighborhood and started to purr and make biscuits we knew he didn’t belong outside and was abandoned. We found out he previously had a collar that had since fallen off and no one was searching for this sweetheart. Just broke our hearts because we knew he deserved love and safety. In his foster home, Moet has worked hard to get his health back on track after what his body endured outside. But he is now healthy and happy and has been treated for parasites and fleas. A diet on Hills Biome prescription canned food — and regular dry food — has helped his digestive system recover from the burdens of outside life. He is now back on regular (high quality) canned food!! Any adopter would be lucky to have Moet in their life. He is a charmer, with a delightful penchant for air biscuits. Moet is estimated to be 5 years old, neutered, negative for FIV and FELV, up-to-date on vaccines, and ready for a loving home! Blizzy was rescued the night of the NYC blizzard in February. She had been abandoned with an old , dirty and torn up collar for months wandering the neighborhood. With the imminent blizzard , the people who had been feeding her outside decided they wanted to find her help. We got her inside , and he is safe now in a loving foster home. Meet Dorito, a handsome, affectionate, gentle, and special soul! This handsome boy is so thankful he was rescued , and has blossomed in his time with his foster family. He now LOVES to snuggle on the couch ever time you sit down to watch tv , and is always with another cat snuggling too. He also LOVES girl cats , including his foster friend , Bunny (they would love to be adopted together!) He’s a really special , handsome guy! He was rescued from a dangerous area of The Bronx where cats get hit by cars, and worse. We do our best to help all the cats in this area as we can, and Dorito is a lucky one. Dorito is a healthy adult , neutered , negative for FIV and FELV, and vaccinated. He loves other cats, especially his foster friend Bunny (also available for adoption!) . When we rescued Dorito he was SO dirty that the white portions of his fur were brown. After a couple of weeks, his true beautiful coat started to shine through as well as his sweet demeanor . Dorito has the cutest meow, and lets you know when he wants his meals! He has learned to play, and snuggle with other cats. Dorito need a special, loving home!
