Story
Meet Clue and Domino, siblings that are 2 years old. Clue is a beautiful female and is all black. She is very affectionate and loves attention. Her brother, Domino is a black and white tuxedo and is also very affectionate and playful. These babies are a bonded pair (must be adopted together - adopt 1, get 1 free!) who came to us as kittens when they were found living in a Lake Anna woodpile with their mom and siblings. They were adopted, but came back to us through no fault of their own.Give these babies a big window and they will love you forever. They love to sit in front of  the window and see all that is going on outside - the birds, the people. They love cozy little areas to curl up in, and they adore snuggling and attention. They get along great with other cats, kids, and dogs. They are fully vetted -  spayed/neutered, up-to-date on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, combo tested negative, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. All they want is a family to call their own - to love, cuddle, and play with. Who has room in their hearts and home for this precious pair? Please fill out a digital application at:  https://submit.jotform.com/221029453063044May 3, 2025, 1:10 am

Story
Meet Cinnabon! Cinnabon is a strikingly beautiful gray and white spotted tabby, about 9 months old. Her spots are similar to Bengals, so she may have some Bengal in her. She came to us early last August when she was found in a Culpeper garage, darting here and there, frightened to death, but desperately wanting to stay to get food. We never know what traumatic experience a cat has been through when they come to us. Thankfully, the Good Samaritan took pity on her, made sure she felt safe and was fed, and contacted us. When she came into care, Cinnabon was still frightened and timid, so we put her in with another litter of 3 boys that were her age (Boston, Zeppole, and Long John). She made friends and played, cuddled with them, and began to relax and feel safe.Cinnabon is still timid and takes awhile to warm up, but, like her name, she is so sweet. She loves to play with foil krinkly balls, climb, and gets along with other cats, especially Boston, who is still in foster care, and another cat, Jojo. She likes to be pet, as long as you move slowly and, once she knows you, is fairly easy to handle. Cinnabon will need a quiet, low activity home with either a patient, loving human(s) she can be a companion to with/without older kids over the age of 14. I think she would also benefit by having a cat friend in her home to snuggle up with - we strongly suggest either Boston or Jojo (we could do an adopt 1 get 1 free with Boston or Jojo) so that she could acclimate to her new home easier. She is ready to go home with an approved application and is dewormed, spayed, had her FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, combo tested negative, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't need to pay to reregister every year, we've taken care of it! If you can give this sweet girl a home and a family, please let us know. GoodMews22@aol.com or call 540.717.4420 Thank you! Interested? Please fill out a digital application! https://submit.jotform.com/221029453063044May 3, 2025, 1:10 am

Story
Meet Hickory, a handsome white and gray, short-haired 6 year old lovebug. He came to us years ago with his mom, Constance and his brother, Hunter on the Freedom Ride from a high-kill shelter when their time had run out. The kill shelter told us about this little family because they were so sweet and gentle and they were worried they would not make it out.  Sadly, AFTER 4 YEARS in foster care, Hickory is STILL with us. We don't understand why and  poor Hickory is beginning to give up hope of ever finding his family and his forever home. He is a sweet and gentle soul and deserves a family who loves and cares about him. Hickory is a quiet, unassuming cat and is still playful. He is loving, likes to be held, and comes to you for affection.. He loves a quiet window where he can look out at wildlife or what is happening in the world. He is shy at first but warms up within a day or two and gets along well with other cats, but prefers a loving human to sit and watch t.v. with - a Hallmark movie or sports, he is not picky.Hickory is neutered, received FVRCP  and Rabies vaccines, combo tested negative, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration - you won't need to pay to renew every year, we've done it for you! He is ready to come home now with an approved home. Please fill out a digital application at: https://submit.jotform.com/221029453063044May 3, 2025, 1:10 am

Story
Meet Calliope, Oliver, Bean, and Briar! These babies are just 8 weeks old (as of November 24), Their mom was a stray who was being fed by a Good Samaritan and was brought inside just before she gave birth to her beautiful babies.Calliope (female) mostly black with a white chest and small patches of brown. She is full of spunk. She loves to run around and keep herself busy with her self-made fun. Anything is a toy for her. At the same time, she also loves toplay with her siblings and fall asleep snuggling with them. As soon as she sees her person, she will come running. Bean (male) is all black and when the sun shines on him, you can see little tabby stripes. Bean is quite independent, yet cuddly at the same time. He loves to play and explore, and afterwards will sleep on you. He is usually one of the first to come up and say hello or follow you around the house. Calliope and Bean play together often and snuggle and are bonded. They will need to be adopted together.Briar (Female) is all black with tabby stripes and is playful and curious. She likes to explore her surroundings, but is also slightly cautious about it. She loves to play with her siblings. Oliver is a little brown tabby boy who is curious, inquisitive, and observant. He was the first kitten to pick up on his foster's voice and would watch his foster's face intently when she talked to the kittens. He continues to watch everyone very intently and think about what is going on. He is the most "chill" of the litter. Both Oliver and Briar are somewhat reserved and are most likely bonded, so will need to be adopted together. All kittens are/will be: dewormed, receive an FVRCP vaccine and a booster, a rabies vaccine, be spayed/neutered, combo tested, and be microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't need to pay over $20 every year to reregister - we've done it for you! Interested in a little holiday happy at your home? Story
Meet Jewel! Jewel is a silky, sleek black and white masked tuxedo with white whiskers about 1- 2 years old. She was found with her 2 kittens living outside near a very busy road before they came into our care. She was a great mom and was grateful to be inside and safe with her kittens.Jewel is a calm and easy-going girl who loves to sit in a sunny window and watch the goings-on outdoors, particularly squirrels and birds. She takes a little while to warm up, but then loves to be pet. She would make a great companion cat. Jewel would love a quiet, low activity home, with either no kids or kids over the age of 12 years old. Jewel is/will be: dewormed, spayed, receive an FVRCP vaccine, a rabies vaccine, be combo tested, and will be microchipped with a lifetime registration.
