Story
Hi there, I’m Summer! I’m a refined, sun-loving lady , about 5 years young, looking for a calm and cozy home . My favorite pastimes include lounging in warm sunbeams, gazing out the window like the queen I am , and gracing my humans with affection—on my terms, of course. I’ll swing by for some pets and happily curl up next to you when the mood strikes, but I do value my independence . I’m a very quiet girl, so if you’re looking for a peaceful companion, I might just be your perfect match . I prefer to be the only furry royalty in the house (other animals totally cramp my style), but I’d make a wonderful friend for someone who wants a low-maintenance, mellow buddy. Despite my chonky physique, I eat a normal amount and don’t ask for much—just a comfy spot and someone to admire my fabulousness . Think we’d be a good match? Let’s meet! Story
Spooks has been our beloved long-term foster for almost a year. He was found as a feral kitten in an abandoned barn at my work. When he came home, he was terrified of humans but after careful socialization he is the happiest, most curious little cat!! He is adorable and fun and extremely intelligent. He can be a bit of a pestering little brother to our other animals, but for the most part gets along very well with all of them (we have two dogs and a cat). He just wants to play! He particularly loves our older cat, but she is too mature for his antics. I could see him going to a home with another young, goofy cat or being an only child. He is very sociable with us and would thrive in a home that could give him all the attention he deserves. He can be a bit naughty, getting on counters, stealing food that has been left out, getting into open garbage cans, but with the right training or husbandry these behaviors can be prevented. For these reasons we ask for an experienced home only.

Story
Limerick and Clerihew are part of our Poem Transport. Limerick is a silly dude, as you can see in the photo with him basking in the laundry basket! Limerick does well with the friendly resident cat in his foster home, and is a great brother to Clerihew, his shy brother. Because Clerihew takes time to warm up, the pair would do best in a quieter home without dogs or children. Please visit our website www.motleyzoorescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Limerick and Clerihew are part of our Poem Transport. This bonded pair of brothers are a sweet pair of kitties. Clerihew is a shy guy who will take time to warm up, therefore a quieter home without children or dogs would be best. He loves to snuggle with his brother, Limerick, and also does well with the friendly resident cat in his foster home. Story
Meet Buttercup🧁 Buttercup had long been a stray cat roaming near Jeonju Shelter, receiving food here and there. One day, she was found with a severely injured back leg. Because of her timid nature, she was difficult to catch and hid under the office building for a long time, avoiding human contact. After much effort, ADogs rescued her, and she became a beloved companion at the office. However, with Jeonju Shelter now facing closure, Buttercup needs a new forever home. • With People: Due to her disability, she doesn’t actively seek affection but enjoys being held and sometimes licks her caregivers. • With Dogs: She doesn’t interact much with dogs but doesn’t get into conflicts either. • With Cats: She gets along well with her feline companion #ADogsCheese. • Separation Anxiety: She rests comfortably on her bed or cat tower when alone. • Potty Training: She cannot urinate by herself and requires regular manual bladder expression. • Litter Type: Uses tofu litter. ❗Health Status❗ • Due to delayed treatment, her injury became severe, resulting in amputation of her left hind leg and tail. Despite this, she is now active enough to play and move around comfortably. • She is unable to urinate on her own, so manual bladder expression is needed at least twice a day (morning and evening). More frequent care is ideal. If urine volume decreases significantly, she may require a hospital visit.
