Story
Meet Mellow — a 2-year-old, 9-lb striped brown-and-white tabby who is, at his core, exactly what his name promises. Mellow came from a home with other cats and a little too much going on, and shelter life has been… a lot for him. He’s finding it hard to adjust, and honestly? That’s okay. Mellow isn’t broken—he’s overwhelmed. Right now, he’s asking for space, patience, and a chance to stretch out his big, beautiful self somewhere quiet and safe.In the shelter, Mellow can come off a bit grumpy, but it’s all talk—he hasn’t lifted a paw to anyone. What he has shown is a fondness for cozy, snuggly spots and the fine art of warming a cat bed like it’s his full-time job. He’s scared, yes, but also gentle, respectful, and very much a cat who will blossom with time and consistency. If you’re a calm home with a soft place to land and the willingness to take a chance on a sensitive soul, Mellow is ready to exhale, settle in, and live up to his name—slowly, sweetly, and on his own timeline. Our cat adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered and microchipped. They receive the FVRCP (feline distemper combo) vaccine, have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.

Story
Sheeran is an 11-month-old Domestic Short Hair with a stunning all-orange tabby coat and a gentle heart to match. Like her sister, she can be a little shy when meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you—Sheeran warms up quickly once she feels safe and secure.Once comfortable, Sheeran’s sweet personality shines. She enjoys playful moments, cozy lounging, and being near her trusted humans. She thrives in a calm, patient home that will give her the time she needs to settle in and blossom.Sheeran shares a close bond with her littermate, Isla, and would absolutely love to be adopted together. If that’s not possible, she would do best in a home with another friendly cat to help her feel confident and supported. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who just needs a little time to show her true colors, Sheeran may be your perfect match! Our cat adoption fee is $90. Story
From the Foster Home: Charley needs patience and time to adjust to his surroundings. He need soft voices and gentle, slow hands. I had him for 3 weeks in my home office where I worked all days, 5 days a week. It took him a minute every morning but eventually he would come out from under the bed to greet me, and end up on my lap off and on throughout the day. When he was feeling good, he would play and run around. In between play and naps on my lap, he had places he`d curl up and watch me work, like on the chair, bed, or blanket on the floor. I think he would warm up to another cat or small dog given the right introduction and time. Story
Jelly Bean is a sweet 3-year-old tabby with a fluffy coat and a heart just as soft. She entered the shelter with Moodie, her familiar companion, and has shown herself to be an affectionate and gentle girl.Like Moodie, Jelly Bean enjoys long cat naps and plenty of pets. She’s also especially fond of wet food and won’t hide her excitement when it’s time to eat. She loves being near her people and happily soaks up attention.Although she came to the shelter with a feline friend, Jelly Bean can flourish in a home of her own. With a slow and thoughtful introduction, she may also enjoy having a friendly cat companion. She’s ready to bring warmth, sweetness, and lots of cuddles to her forever home. Our cat adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered and microchipped. Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Nezuko comes from an orange tabby mom and Grey tabby dad. She is a very well behaved cat , she came potty trained and has never had a single accident. Nezuko lives in a home with 2 dogs - She came after them so she does tolerate them- although I do notice she prefers the small dog. She has always been okay around people mostly just ignores them but I do notice she seems a little stressed around kids so maybe a child free home would be better. I am single and she is used to doing her own thing and she seems to like it that way. I am unfortunately only letting her go because I am in so much debt and having to work 2 jobs so I can't even give her time. Nezuko was my first cat and she has such a calm and kind personality, she deserves a great home.
