I am his second owner. He was abused as a kitten and that has left him skittish. He is scared of new people at first, but does adjust. He does not like to be picked up but loves snuggles. He has been around dogs and other cats. He is sweet, loves to play with toys, and sleep. I’ve had him for about 9 years. I’m unsure of his actual age. He is a chunky boy and will over eat if not careful. He is good around kids.

Tuesday is a handsome 2.5-year-old tabby with a tender heart and a deep capacity for love. He was originally adopted as a kitten through Oakbrook Cat Rescue and, through no fault of his own, recently found his way back to us. Now he’s ready for a fresh start with a family who will cherish the wonderfully devoted companion he truly is. Tuesday is friendly, affectionate, and forms very strong bonds with his people. Once he chooses you, he becomes your constant sidekick — following you from room to room, climbing into your lap, and soaking up every bit of closeness he can get. He absolutely loves attention on his own terms and is happiest when he’s curled up nearby, purring softly and simply being with you. At heart, Tuesday is a sensitive soul. In busy or noisy homes, especially with very young children, he would do best in an adult only home or a home with calm older children. Since returning to rescue about a a few months ago, he’s been making steady (though gentle) progress as he settles in and rebuilds his confidence. Meet Rex, the adorable odd-eyed kitten who walks a bit different than other cats. Rex has a deformity in his front legs and his back feet are polydactyl...6 toes on each foot. He is not a candidate for surgery doesn't seem to notice that he is different. As he has gotten bigger, he is able to get up the stairs and onto a coffee table. He can't really pull himself up onto things, but those back legs are strong (maybe those extra toes help). He often sits up like a groundhog (or T-Rex). Rex plays with our dogs and cats and has a big appetite. He is a sweet, spunky boy who likes to take naps on laps or next to us and has won the hearts of everyone who has met him. Rex's perfect home would have caring people who: ~ are willing to have a unique-looking cat ~ will watch for signs of pain ~ have means for possible extra vet visits ~ who have at least one playful cat (he loves dogs, too) ~ are willing to meet him at his foster's house near Tacoma.
