Shows immediate interest in new people and approaches strangers without hesitation. Loves physical touch and comfortably accepts being held or given enthusiastic pets. * With Dogs: Coexists peacefully with dog friends at our center. Rather than actively initiating play, he prefers spending quiet time on his own. ✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 💙 Name: Baek-soon 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 1 year old (Born June 2025) 💙 Weight: 6 kg / 13 lb 💙 Adogs Updates: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Medical History * Spayed. * Microchipped, heartworm negative, undergoing treatment for anaplasma and giardia * Had surgery for cherry eye and the area has healed nicely. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Baek-soon was staying at the Gimje Shelter. During the blistering summer heat, the shelter environment left her highly exposed to dangerous infectious diseases. Deeply concerned about the health of such a young pup, Adogs stepped in urgently to rescue Baek-soon. 3⃣ Personality & Characteristics * With People: On her first day at the shelter, she was too shy to even wag her tail, but now she welcomes people with happy tail wags! Because she is naturally very fearful, she still prefers to stick to corners for now, but she is improving day by day. * With Dogs:: She shows healthy curiosity toward other dog friends and will approach them to say hello. * With Cats: She has not encountered any cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Since she is currently living in a group environment at the shelter, it is difficult to accurately assess. * Potty Training: She currently uses indoor potty areas at the shelter. * Hygiene: She completely freezes up when you try to wipe her body. She will need consistent desensitization training to get comfortable with grooming. * Walking: She will slowly start leash training after her medical treatments are fully completed. * Car Sickness: This will need to be evaluated in the future. * Biting: She has shown absolutely no biting tendencies. Even in uncomfortable situations, she simply freezes up or looks a bit bashful. * Barking: She is very quiet and shows no random barking or whining behavior. * Likes: She absolutely loves treats! * Personality: She is a timid, gentle scaredy-cat, but she is also very curious and sweet. Once she fully warms up to her new family, she is sure to become affectionate.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Seonjeong 💙 Name: Seonjeong 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 2 years old (Born in June 2024) 💙 Weight: 5 kg / 11.02 lb 💙 Seonjeong's News Account: @made.omo 1️⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, anaplasma negative upon retest. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Seonjeong was residing at the Gimje City Shelter. Despite the severe shelter environment—vulnerable to extreme summer heat and infectious diseases—she always greeted people with a bright, optimistic spirit. Unable to leave such a sweet girl behind, Adogs urgently stepped in to rescue her. 3️⃣ Basic Information * With People: While slightly shy around unfamiliar faces at first, she opens her heart very quickly when given a moment of patience. With her foster parent by her side, she happily greets strangers, and during walks, she even makes eye contact with passersby asking for gentle pets. Accepts calm touch from children very well. * With Dogs: Gets excited to see dog friends on walks and gazes at them politely to say hello. When her handler says "Let's go," she glances back once or twice and follows along nicely. Stays remarkably calm and unfazed even around barking or reactive dogs. * With Cats: When spotting a cat during walks, her ears perk up with interest and she wants to step closer, but she promptly obeys her handler's lead and moves along. * Separation Anxiety: Showed minor separation anxiety early on in her foster home, but with consistent training, it has almost entirely resolved. When her handler leaves, she briefly checks the door and then happily relaxes or plays with nosework toys. Sometimes barks when people are around and then disappear, but this behavior seems to stem from loneliness rather than separation anxiety. * Potty Training: Strongly prefers outdoor pottying. Even with pads available, she prefers holding it until her walks. Tends to mark frequently while walking outdoors. * Hygiene: Patiently tolerates baths and toothbrushing despite finding them unfamiliar. Gets startled by the loud noise of blow dryers. Accepts coat brushing wonderfully. * Walks: Hearing "Shall we go?" or seeing the leash makes her hop around with joy. Walks gently alongside her handler with almost zero leash pulling. * Car Sickness: Showed signs of anxiety and rapid breathing during 30-minute car rides. Ongoing observation is needed to tell whether it is motion sickness or simple car nerves. * Shows zero biting or aggressive tendencies. * Barks occasionally when hearing other dogs bark, when seeking attention/treats, or when too scared to step inside a crate to reach a treat. * Loves treats, people, and dog friends. * Gets scared of being picked up or having her paws lifted off the ground. Feels uncomfortable with baths, toothbrushing, loud noises, car rides, unfamiliar places, and crates. * Masters "House", "Wait", and has great recall when called! * Once adjusted, Seonjeong is a thoroughly gentle and affectionate soul who loves coming close to her humans. Even when uncomfortable or scared, she never bites or barks aggressively, opting only for tiny, quiet whines. Though fearful at times, her bright and loving personality shines more each day as she builds trust.

Story
Meet Morty! He is a 7 year old merle corgi who is a happy, healthy boy who is very food motivated and loving with a big personality. We’ve been together since he was a puppy, and we have been training since then which he loves to show off. He is extremely smart and loves to “work”. He’s super bouncy (note the giant smile!) and has a very classic corgi temperament! He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccines and rabies shots. Morty would do well in a home with someone who is familiar with the “quirks” of the breed and can give him sufficient time and exercise. He can be reactive on leash with other dogs, though we’ve worked with a trainer and he has made great improvements over the years. He is scared of young children and cats so he would do best in a home with no young kids or cats. He has lived with another dog before, but can sometimes resource guard his “people” so would need to meet any other dog he might live with. He is truly the best boy and deserves the world!

Story
Meet Bokdong — A Gentle, Special Boy Looking for His Forever Home   Name: Bokdong Age: 1 year old Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Mixed Breed Color: Gray/Brown Weight: 9 kg (20 lbs) Height: 34 cm (13.4 in) at the shoulder   RESCUE STORY Bokdong was rescued on April 23 from an animal hoarding situation along with his mother, Boksun, and other dogs. Despite everything he has been through at such a young age, he is a calm and gentle little boy.   MEDICAL HISTORY & SPECIAL NEEDS Veterinary examinations indicate that Bokdong has significant vision and hearing impairment. He appears to have some response to light, but for practical purposes, he should be considered visually impaired. Although he was also assessed as having hearing loss, he will occasionally bark in response to sounds outside.   Bokdong was also born with/developed an angular limb deformity in his front legs and has undergone corrective orthopedic surgery.   Bokdong’s surgery was performed to correct the abnormal bone angle, reduce uneven stress on his joints, and help minimize future pain, lameness, and progression of arthritis.   Despite his special needs, Bokdong has adapted well and enjoys a quiet, peaceful life.   ‍ WITH PEOPLE Because Bokdong cannot see normally, he does not immediately approach unfamiliar people and may startle if touched unexpectedly. Giving him a moment to realize someone is there makes a big difference.   Treats are a wonderful way to win him over! Once he becomes familiar with someone, he accepts affection and handling well. He can also be safely picked up with an arm supporting him under his belly.   WITH OTHER DOGS Bokdong will approach unfamiliar dogs to say hello but generally has little interest in playing with them. He occasionally responds when his littermate, Kkami, initiates play.   He is very non-confrontational and tends to move away rather than react if another dog bothers or challenges him. Overall, he is quite independent around other dogs and is perfectly happy simply sharing space with them.   WITH CATS Bokdong has not yet been observed around cats. Cat testing can be arranged if needed.   ENERGY LEVEL Low energy. Bokdong is naturally calm and loves relaxing and resting. He would likely thrive in a peaceful home where life is relatively predictable and he can learn his surroundings at his own pace.   WALKS Because of his limited vision, unfamiliar routes can initially make Bokdong nervous. Once he becomes familiar with a route, however, he walks much more confidently.   If he becomes frightened or uncertain, he may stop and resist being pulled forward. He will do best with a patient adopter who allows him time to understand and become comfortable with new surroundings.   OTHER BEHAVIOURS • No food guarding with people or other dogs • Occasionally barks when he hears or senses something outside • May occasionally demand-bark when he wants something • Can become anxious when first placed in a kennel and may howl quite a bit initially, but settles with time • Primarily goes potty outdoors   IDEAL HOME Bokdong doesn’t need anyone to feel sorry for him — he needs someone who understands that he experiences the world a little differently.   A calm, patient adopter who can give him consistency, gently introduce him to new environments, and allow him time to memorize his home and walking routes would be ideal. His limited sight and hearing may require some adjustments, but Bokdong has already shown how well he can adapt when he feels safe.   For the right person, this quiet little boy has so much love and companionship to give. Story
Bailey and her sister, Cora, came to the shelter very afraid. They hadn’t had any stability in their short lives, and needed some time to settle in to yet another new environment. These girls have really blossomed and thrived while having structure here at the shelter. They have learned how to walk on leash and that people aren’t so scary – a lot of them have treats! Miss Bailey is a Terrier/Corgi mix around 10 months old. You can definitely see those Corgi herding instincts as she plays with her group of doggy friends here at the shelter. She LOVES her walks, and is getting much better at being leashed up for them, as that was very scary for her in the beginning. Now, she has become more comfortable with meeting new volunteers here at the shelter, but still may take some time to warm up when meeting potential adopters. Bailey would love to have another doggy sibling in the home, and would do best with older children (16 and up). She is such a cute girl, and very affectionate and playful when she is comfortable with you. We can’t wait for her to settle into a home and thrive!September 2, 2026, 6:20 pm
