Story

Lemmy is 4 years old. We rescued him when he was about a year old. He is the sweetest dog and has the biggest heart. He has been amazing with our other corgi. He gives us huge smiles every time we walk in the door and loves to play in the backyard. He also loves camping and going on hikes. He unfortunately does not do well with small children. We have a very active 18 month old and it has become a safety concern. He would be a great dog for someone without kids and who loves being outdoors. He’s a very special boy and we are so sad to let him go.

Hi I'm Miss toad the wet sprocket! So nice to meet you! I'm a delightful 10 year old 26 lb gal looking for a forever best friend! I was very neglected by my previous person who was, sadly, unhoused and not mentally well. The rescue humans saw me at the shelter and scooped me up. I am looking and feeling so much better now I am good with dogs but can easily fly solo. No cats for me. Sorry cats. I can't wait to meet you *please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. The application is the first step in the adoption process, so if you are interested in adopting please fill out the online adoption application  first by visiting our website at www.dachshundpaws.org    Gypsy is a 1 year old Corgi. She’s a very sweet girl. She can be a bit shy at first, but once she settles in she is a typical puppy. Gypsy loves to play with other dogs and does the zoomies around the yard. Gypsy is crate trained. Gypsy would love a playful sibling, but can also be an only dog as long as she’s not home alone for long hours. Gypsy is all ready to meet her new family!  Gypsy‘s adoption fee $500We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day. Meet Happy💜 Happy lived neglected within a fenced area of junkyard. The person who reported Happy to us was feeding Happy for a year and when the junkyard went bankrupt, the owner left and abandoned Happy. Please be Happy’s miracle and become his forever family. 🙏🏻 * He has a Jindo face with short legs just like a corgi. He is adorable and sunny. 🥰 * He's wary at first, but once he opens up, he is sweet and asks for pets. 😊 * Not very interested in the other dog friends at ADOGS Center! He only takes his own treats and doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs. He does well all around! * He has a good appetite and eats very fast. He needs help with eating slowly because he might choke and cough when he eats too fast. * He does not bark when other dogs bark 👍🏻
