Story
Meet Nala Breed: Pembroke Welsh Corgi Age:  12/04/2024 Weight: 25 pounds currently Gender: Female (Spayed) Personality Nala is a bundle of joy and affection, always ready to brighten up your day with her infectious happiness. She loves nothing more than a good belly rub and is known to roll right over, inviting you to give her some love. Her friendly nature makes her an excellent companion for both humans and other dogs. She has a gentle disposition and is wonderful with children, making her a perfect family pet. Breed Information Pembroke Welsh Corgis are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and energetic personalities. Despite their small stature, they are sturdy and agile, often displaying a playful and spirited demeanor. Corgis are herding dogs by nature, so they require regular exercise and mental stimulation to keep them happy and healthy. What to Expect As a Corgi owner, you can expect a loyal companion who is eager to please. Nala will thrive in a home where she gets plenty of attention and companionship. Regular walks, playtime, and interaction with other dogs will keep her content. Her herding instincts may occasionally lead her to gently nip at heels, but with proper training, this can be managed. Owner's Responsibilities Exercise: Ensure Nala gets sufficient daily exercise to burn off her youthful energy. A combination of walks, playtime, and mental challenges will be ideal. Training: Enroll her in obedience classes to reinforce her social skills and manage any herding tendencies. Corgis are quick learners, so consistent training will yield great results. Grooming: Regular brushing is important to manage her shedding and keep her coat healthy. Corgis typically shed year-round, with heavier shedding during seasonal changes. Health Care: Keep up with regular vet check-ups and vaccinations. Be mindful of her diet to maintain a healthy weight, as Corgis can be prone to obesity. Affection and Socialization: Provide plenty of love and social interaction. Nala will thrive in an environment where she feels part of the family. Adopting Nala means committing to a lifelong friend who will bring joy and laughter into your life. Whether she's playing in the yard or snuggling up next to you on the couch, Nala is sure to be a beloved member of your family.   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please go to our website https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/ and fill out an application. Story
Meet our precious Butterscotch. She is a Riverside Shelter survivor who was in danger of euthanasia due to having a seizure disorder. Butterscotch is a 1 year old Papillion/Corgi Mix and weighs about 12 lbs. She’s a sweet girl with a beautiful smile and a beautiful spirit. She’s resilient and strong. She currently lives in a foster home with other dogs and where someone is home 24/7. We are currently trying a new treatment for her seizures and are still trying to find the best approach to control them. Butterscotch has both grand mal seizures (seldomly) and focal seizures more frequently. Her forever family will need to be committed to her medicine regimen and also having patience with navigating her challenges. She will do best in a home with experienced dog owners who are patient and will also have the dedication to navigate through her challenges with her. She loves chew toys, she's very treat motivated, and she’s dog and cat friendly. She’s a happy girl with a beautiful spirit. She will bring her new family lots of love and joy. We are excited to help her find her new forever family. Adoption Interest applications are on our website www.jointhescars.org under “forms.” We thank you in advance for your interest in adopting one of our heroes and for your patience through the process. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 Meet Thunder⚡ 💙 Adogs Update Account: @_adogs_everyday 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered: Not yet. * Others: Microchipped and getting heartworm treatment. * Successfully underwent abdominal fluid removal surgery and is now in recovery. Requires continued care and monitoring until he regains full health. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Thunder was staying at the Gimje Shelter. He loved people and greeted everyone with a wagging tail there. Despite his cheerful nature, his health was deteriorating. He had severe abdominal swelling due to fluid retention, and the harsh winter, along with the risk of infectious diseases, made his condition even more dangerous. Seeing his urgent need for medical attention, Adogs rescued him just in time to get the care he desperately needed. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Adores people! Wags his tail excitedly and enjoys being petted. Loves warmth and affection of people, often rubbing against them like a cat to show his love! * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs generally. Enjoys observing his dog friends rather than actively playing with them. Has a few favorite playmates with whom he interacts more! * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he resides with other dogs at our center. * Potty Training: Is good at using potty pads as well as outdoor potty. * Walks: Is a pro walker without pulling on the leash. * Car Sickness: Rides well in a car without car sickness.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 Meet Victor❤️ 💙 Victor's News Account: @jjamooong._ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed: Yes. * Others: Microchipped, dental scaling completed, and heartworm negative upon retest. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Victor was found tied up with a tight collar in a gravel field. Before rescued by an Adogs volunteer, she had been left unattended for a long time, surrounded by stale food. Initially, she looked scared but quickly let her guard down and approached, wagging her tail happily. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: May bark briefly when strangers enter the house. As soon as she is petted, she warms up immediately and starts showing affection. With familiar people, she loves snuggling and rolling onto her back for belly rubs. Enjoys staying close to people, often leaning against them for comfort! * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs, even sleeping next to her foster sibling. During walks, she sometimes gets excited when meeting other dogs. However, recently she calms down quickly after showing brief interest. * With Cats: Shows less excitement toward cats compared to dogs. * Separation Anxiety: Experiences separation anxiety when alone. Tends to howl once an hour when left alone. Occasionally, she may also have accidents indoors due to stress. Is receiving training and gradually improving. However, with another dog or a person, she does not show signs of anxiety. * Potty Training: Is excellent at using pee pads, even in a new environment. Remembers the initial location of the pad and prefers it to remain in the same spot. Prefers outdoor potty breaks when possible. * Hygiene: Loves baths and brushing. Is scared of ear cleaning solution, so it is done with a protective cone on. Is very fearful of nail trimming, so her nails are naturally worn down through walks. * Walks: Walks beautifully in sync with her handler. At the start of a walk or when she sees dogs, birds, or cats, she may pull on the leash out of excitement, though. Extra attention is needed in those moments. * Car Sickness: Doesn't get car sick but still feels uneasy when separated from people in the car. Prefers to sit on a lap. 4⃣ Special Notes * Has mastered the commands: “Sit,” “Lie Down,” “Spin,” “Paw,” “Wait,” “House,” “Kiss,” “Fancy,” “Nose Touch,” and “Come”. * Rarely barks—if she does, she stops immediately upon hearing “Sit.” * Tends to bite when she is held by the doctor at the vet’s office. Stays calm and gets treatment well if she is held by her guardian and then placed at the treatment room.
