Story
Meet Mochi (2 yrs, Neutered Male)   Breed: Welsh Corgi Mix Color: Brown / White Weight: 15 kg Height: 29 cm (shoulder height)   Rescue Story Mochi was rescued from a city shelter where he was scheduled for euthanasia. He is now safe and ready for his second chance at a loving home.     ‍ Human Socialization Mochi is extremely affectionate and social. He approaches both familiar people and strangers with confidence, leans in for attention, and even happily jumps into the arms of people he meets on walks.   He is comfortable with both men and women. He has not been tested with young children under 13, but he allows being lifted and will show his belly once he trusts you.     Dog Socialization Mochi greets both known and unfamiliar dogs politely and confidently. He’s more into chasing and exploring than group play, and he often prefers doing his own thing — sniffing, running around, or checking out the environment.   He gets along best with medium or larger dogs, or those similar in size to him.   Cats When encountering outdoor cats, he showed little reaction. A formal cat test can be arranged.   Energy Level As a Welsh Corgi mix, he has a naturally active personality. He loves running, exploring, and seeking human attention. As long as his energy needs and desire for engagement are understood, he is easy to manage.   Walks He pulls on the leash at times, but overall follows his handler well. He is confident even on busy streets and enjoys walks in all environments.   Other Behaviors • No resource guarding toward people or dogs • Food motivated, so mealtime supervision is helpful • Not separation-anxious, but dislikes confinement and may bark when restricted • In a kennel, he mostly whines • Currently uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty Apply to Foster or Adopt at www.adoptmekr.org Please also visit our Facebook or Instagram. Currently in Korea — available for adoption to Canada/US ##2595809##

Story
Meet Nala Breed: Pembroke Welsh Corgi Age:  12/04/2024 Weight: 25 pounds currently Gender: Female (Spayed) Personality Nala is a bundle of joy and affection, always ready to brighten up your day with her infectious happiness. She loves nothing more than a good belly rub and is known to roll right over, inviting you to give her some love. Her friendly nature makes her an excellent companion for both humans and other dogs. She has a gentle disposition and is wonderful with children, making her a perfect family pet. Breed Information Pembroke Welsh Corgis are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and energetic personalities. Despite their small stature, they are sturdy and agile, often displaying a playful and spirited demeanor. Corgis are herding dogs by nature, so they require regular exercise and mental stimulation to keep them happy and healthy. What to Expect As a Corgi owner, you can expect a loyal companion who is eager to please. Nala will thrive in a home where she gets plenty of attention and companionship. Regular walks, playtime, and interaction with other dogs will keep her content. Her herding instincts may occasionally lead her to gently nip at heels, but with proper training, this can be managed. Owner's Responsibilities Exercise: Ensure Nala gets sufficient daily exercise to burn off her youthful energy. A combination of walks, playtime, and mental challenges will be ideal. Training: Enroll her in obedience classes to reinforce her social skills and manage any herding tendencies. Corgis are quick learners, so consistent training will yield great results. Grooming: Regular brushing is important to manage her shedding and keep her coat healthy. Corgis typically shed year-round, with heavier shedding during seasonal changes. Health Care: Keep up with regular vet check-ups and vaccinations. Be mindful of her diet to maintain a healthy weight, as Corgis can be prone to obesity. Affection and Socialization: Provide plenty of love and social interaction. Nala will thrive in an environment where she feels part of the family. Adopting Nala means committing to a lifelong friend who will bring joy and laughter into your life. Whether she's playing in the yard or snuggling up next to you on the couch, Nala is sure to be a beloved member of your family.   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please go to our website https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/ and fill out an application. Story
Taquito is an adorable 4 year old, male corgi mix who is about 17 lbs. Our partner in South Korea found him living in dangerous conditions, chained up. For months we've been begging their "owner" to surrender them, visiting daily to ensure they have food & water. Finally he agreed! Taquito is currently heartworm positive getting his treatment. We anticipate him being healthy enough to board their freedom flight sometime in the end of October! We need a committed foster or adopter to get Taquito on his freedom flight! Will he land with you? Apply today!

Story
Have you been searching for the best Burrito in LA?! Search no longer, because he’s RIGHT HERE! Meet your new bestie, BURRITO! This sweet and spicy senior has waited his entire life (we think around 8- 10 years) to have a family of his own! Despite being failed by people, Burrito is a happy papa pup with a spunky and silly personality. He adores walks - we like to think his personal motto is “WILL SMOOCH FOR WALKS”. This goofy boy will always keep you smiling, but he also has the biggest heart. Burrito has been through so much hardship in his life and deserves to live out his senior years in a cozy, warm home where he knows he is safe and loved. Could you be his hero? Burrito was rescued (with his four babies - Ceviche, Salsa, Enchilada and Taquito) in South Korea where he lived his entire life chained up a broken down shack outside of a factory, neglected and physically abused. As soon as we rescued Burrito, we took him to the vet where he was diagnosed with heartwom. Luckily we were able to get him treated right away and he is now a healthy and happy little hunk, but he is still waiting for his hero to get him out of the shelter in South Korea. He watched his three daughters take their freedom flight to LA, and he’s left wondering when it will be his turn. Let’s reunite the Perrito family and get Burrito to LA! All we need is a committed foster or adopter! Apply TODAY!

Story
Get ready to spice up your life because Enchilada is here to bring the zest you never knew you needed! This 15-pound firecracker is equal parts snuggly sidekick and sassy little rugrat, with a Lada love to share. Born in South Korea, she spent her early years outside a factory with her siblings, Taquito, Salsa, Ceviche and father Burrito, surviving some very tough times. Despite being mistreated by people who should have protected her and bravely fighting off heartworms, Enchilada never lost her spark. Today, she’s thriving and ready to find her forever family. She’s about 4 years young—old enough to appreciate a cozy nap but always ready to zoom around or play once she feels safe and settled. Enchilada is incredibly loyal, super friendly, and happiest when she can be your tiny shadow, following you from room to room and snuggling close whenever you sit down. She also has the softest fur you’ll ever touch, like a little velvet burrito you’ll never want to stop petting. Enchilada would do best in a home with another friendly dog to help her feel confident and show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind companion who’s as sweet as she is spicy, Enchilada is ready to meet you and remind you every day that you’re her whole world.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 Meet Victor❤️ 💙 Victor's News Account: @jjamooong._ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, dental scaling completed, and completely recovered from heartworm. * Due to a small fracture in her right molars and tartar buildup, we're paying special attention to her dental care. * To help improve her walking posture, she wears a CoBan wrap during walks. * Her paw pad is weak, so you have to bandage it or mind her step when going for a walk. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Victor was rescued by an Adogs volunteer while she was tied up tightly in a gravel lot. When found, she had clearly been neglected for a long time — food that had gone bad was piled next to her, and she looked frightened. But as soon as she felt safe, she wagged her tail and approached. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Might bark briefly when strangers visit, but this has improved recently. Wags her tail and asks for petting when she meets strangers during walks. Even acts cute if children come up to her and cuddles her. With familiar people, she happily flops over for belly rubs. Loves cuddling close to people. If you come home, she will hurry out to welcome you warmly. * With Dogs: Gets along well with her foster family’s dog and even sleeps beside them. During walks, she tends to react to unfamiliar dogs by barking or lunging. After receiving training, she has recently shown signs of calming down quickly and focusing on treats. Growls at first when she meets a dog at a dog friendly cafe, but stays still when they keep their distance. Is posessive of toys and sometimes tries to threaten other dogs when they play with his toy. Is getting training to fix this behaviour. * With Cats: Gets less excited around cats than dogs. * Separation Anxiety: Experiences significant anxiety when left alone, barking and scratching at the door. Does not feel separation anxiety when with other dogs or strangers though. * Potty Training: Is very good with using pee pads. However, she remembers the first spot it was placed, so consistency in pad location is key. Prefers to go outside if possible and marks with her pee only when outside. * Hygiene: Does excellently with baths and toothbrushing and enjoys brushing. Does not like having ears cleaned, so mouths at her foster parent’s hand as a warning without biting. Is very afraid of nail clipping, so it’s mostly handled through walks. * Walks: Gets aggressive when birds, or cats pass by. In an emotionally sensitive day, she lunges with excitement and doesn't calm down with other dogs but in a good condition, she immediately refocuses on her guardian upon being called. Tends to pull on the leash hard only when with other dogs. * Car Sickness: No motion sickness during two-hour drive, but gets anxious when separated in the car. Tries to sit on a lap in such situation. If she’s tired, she will sleep on her cushion. * May bite defensively if you push her sideways, get close to her face, try to pick her up, or try to clean her ear. Be careful and take time when you approach her. * Doesn’t bark even at strangers outside the door as long as they don’t ring the doorbell. Barks briefly when family returns to home. Also barks at times if new people suddenly stand up or make loud noises in the home. * Understands the commands such as 'Sit down', 'Lie down', 'Turn', 'Nose', 'V', 'Paw', 'Wait', and 'Kiss'!
