Corgi Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)

Seal Beach, CA
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less

Story
Bailey and her sister, Cora, came to the shelter very afraid. They hadn’t had any stability in their short lives, and needed some time to settle in to yet another new environment. These girls have really blossomed and thrived while having structure here at the shelter. They have learned how to walk on leash and that people aren’t so scary – a lot of them have treats! Miss Bailey is a Terrier/Corgi mix around 10 months old. You can definitely see those Corgi herding instincts as she plays with her group of doggy friends here at the shelter. She LOVES her walks, and is getting much better at being leashed up for them, as that was very scary for her in the beginning. Now, she has become more comfortable with meeting new volunteers here at the shelter, but still may take some time to warm up when meeting potential adopters. Bailey would love to have another doggy sibling in the home, and would do best with older children (16 and up). She is such a cute girl, and very affectionate and playful when she is comfortable with you. We can’t wait for her to settle into a home and thrive!September 20, 2026, 12:16 pm

📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in **private shelters or foster homes in South Korea**. Once an adoption is approved, dogs travel to the United States **through legal, fully compliant international transport procedures**. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate **in real time** with our rescue team through official organizational and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. --- 🐾 Basic Information **Name:** Rendi **Gender:** Male **Neuter Status:** Not neutered **Estimated Age:** Approximately 3 years old **Weight:** 7 kg (about 15.4 lbs) **Microchipped:** Yes **Current Location:** Foster home in South Korea --- 🩷 Rescue Story Rendi was rescued just before euthanasia from a city shelter in Incheon. Thanks to timely intervention, he was given a second chance at life and is now staying in a loving foster home, where his true personality is beginning to shine. --- 🌿 Temperament & Behavior Rendi is a gentle and kind-hearted dog with a slightly timid nature. He can be cautious and easily startled, but with patience and reassurance, he settles well. * **With other dogs:** He may bark when he sees other dogs during walks, mostly due to excitement or uncertainty, but he shows **no aggression**. * **With cats:** He has not been exposed to cats yet. * **With adults and children:** Rendi does well with both adults and children, especially when approached with warmth and affection. He responds very positively to gentle attention. --- 🚽 Potty Habits * **Urination:** 100% successful on pee pads indoors * **Defecation:** Prefers outdoor elimination during walks --- 🛁 Handling & Daily Care * **Bathing:** Calm and cooperative * **Brushing:** Tolerates brushing well * **Shedding:** Moderate * **Energy level:** Energetic and enthusiastic during walks, but calm and well-behaved indoors * **Kennel training:** Yes, he stays comfortably in a kennel --- 🐕 Walks & Training Rendi has a lot of enthusiasm on walks and often wants to run happily, but he is gradually learning leash manners and improving steadily. He already knows several basic commands and tricks: **Sit, Paw, Wait, High Five** --- 🍽️ Food & Preferences * **Diet:** Prefers soft foods over hard textures * **Allergies:** None known --- ⚠️ Sensitivities & Other Notes * **Dislikes:** Plastic bags * **Likes:** Walks, treats, and being gently petted * **Car rides:** Experiences severe motion sickness; even a one-hour drive can cause vomiting and excessive drooling * **Barking/Howling:** No barking unless unfamiliar people are present * **Separation anxiety:** Occasionally whines, but does not show signs of true separation anxiety * **Medical or behavioral issues at the vet:** None Rendi has **no history of aggression toward dogs or people**, and he has never bitten. --- 🏡 Ideal Home Rendi would thrive in a home with guardians who understand dogs well and can confidently guide and support him. He is looking for a family that can offer **unconditional love, patience, and emotional security**—a place where he can continue growing into the wonderful companion he is meant to be. --- 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee **already includes all essential costs**, such as international transportation, customs and export documentation, and medical care (vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.). For this reason, we kindly ask that **inquiries regarding cost breakdowns or fee negotiations be avoided**. Your understanding helps us continue saving dogs like Rendi and giving them the future they deserve.

Meet Bones, a survivor who embodies resilience and hope. This brave pitbull has overcome unimaginable trauma, emerging not with bitterness, but with an incredible capacity to love. Rescued from a horrific situation where he was abandoned alongside his siblings, Bones was the only one who survived unthinkable conditions - locked in a bathroom, drinking toilet water, and witnessing the tragic loss of his family. Despite experiencing the worst of human cruelty, he still believes in the goodness of people. Bones carries his past with courage, not fear. His spirit remains unbroken, and he's ready to transform his story from one of survival to one of healing and love. He's looking for a patient, compassionate family who understands that his journey is about rebuilding trust and finding safety. Bones doesn't just need an owner; he needs a hero who will show him that not all humans cause harm, and that love can truly heal all wounds. Can you help him find his final home?
