Kids: teenage kids will be best for PonchoOther dogs: he is currently in a foster home with 2 other dogs and doing good. He does love his toys and can be toy possessive at times. He can play rough with his toys too.Cats: no catsHousing: He will definitely need housing with backyard space. Not a good match for Apartment/Condo livingPersonality: Poncho is a darling boy. He is very sweet and loving with his person. He just exudes personality. He is a little clown. He rolls around on his back and can walk on his hind legs and bunny hop. He is a very happy boy. He will settle in and bond very quickly with his new owner. What we know: owner surrendered. He is very sweet. Good play manners with his person, good on leash, however he is not fond of long walks. He is not a hiking dog. He simply prefers to play in the backyard and keeps himself busy with his own toys. He has a very happy-go-lucky personality. Loves his toys and will chase whatever toy you throw. He sleeps in bed with his foster mom.Medical: healthy, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped. Oso was rescued from the San Pedro Harbor Animal Shelter after his owner surrendered him due to landlord conflicts. He is housetrained and enjoys reclining in a doggie bed or recliner. He is food motivated and good with small dogs. Not cat tested. He is not good with small children or large dogs. Best in an adult home but very congenial with small dogs. He could use some basic obedience training to walk gentling on a leash. He enjoys toys. He would definitely due best in an adult home with no visiting grandkids. Adults would be fine. Travels well in a car.

Leah is a purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi with an undocked natural tail. She was rescued from the San Pedro Harbor Shelter recently after her owner surrendered and two other dogs as they were moving. She has had a litter of pups but is now spayed, current on all shots, microchipped and has had flea control shot and worming. She is an active dog enjoying playing ball with her human or by herself. She is crate trained and is good with most dogs her size or smaller. Not cat tested. Being active she would be good with well-behaved children 11 and up or in an adult home that is savvy with the corgi or herding breed. She knows how to sit, would benefit from a basic park obedience class and enjoys walks. She has been to a private vet and had blood and fecal work done and is in good health.
