Story
I’m looking to rehome our dog, Jett. Jett (aka Jetty, Jettikins, or Mr Pup Pup) is a very good boy. He’s an indoor dog. He’s well-behaved, housebroken, and listens well. He’s gentle and playful with kids, and very social at dog parks. He’s smart and can learn new tricks. But, he’s not perfect. He sheds. He pulls on the leash, and barks at other dogs while on walks (ie, barrier anxiety). We adopted Jett in 2016 as a 1-yo rescue from the Humane Society in Warner Robins, Georgia. He’s been under veterinarian care ever since. He’s a current patient at Family Pet Clinic on Artesia. He’s very healthy, if a couple pounds overweight. Between an increasingly busy life, active and distracted kids, and a planned move this summer, Jett isn’t receiving the attention he deserves. I’d like to find him a new family that would appreciate his companionship.

Story
Sweet Winston is a corgi mix puppy who was saved from a slaughterhouse with his mom back in China. He came to us this past week and has been doing so, so well in foster. Winston loves to play and gravitates towards the other dogs. He is still learning how to live in a house and that it is safe to settle down, and he getting better everyday. He is greatly enjoying his cuddles, walks, and running around with his foster siblings. Winston will absolutely thrive in an active home with another playful mentor dog and someone very patient and understanding of the fact that he has been through so much and will need plenty of time and love to be his very best self. Interested in adopting this precious puppy? Fill out an adoption application on our website roversretreat.org PLEASE NOTE: Winston is being fostered in San Diego and his adoption fee is $800

Story
IMPORTANT: The Nature Network Inc. is a small 501c3 non-profit no-kill organization. Most animals we rescue are abandoned at the pound, who no one wants--seniors and special-needs. 100% of all funds are used for them—extensive veterinary and medical costs, prescription meds, rehab, special foods, supplements, and more. Below, under our The Nature Network CONTACT INFO you can find a “DONATION” link. We are deeply grateful for help. To meet us, help us, or if you know people or businesses who would like to, please contact us at: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (Also our PayPal Giving email address for donation and sponsorship). Mailing: The Nature Network Inc., 3826 Grand View Blvd., #66790, Los Angeles, CA 90066. We are not like many larger non-profits who use up to 90% of all funds on expensive advertising, enormous salaries, social media, and human expenses. Our veterinary references are available upon request. BRAM is a very fun, handsome, tri-color Cardigan Welsh Corgi with a tiny bit of Collie, about 9 years old, and around 40 pounds. He gets along fine with other dogs, but his first love is people--he would like nothing better than to be your constant companion, although he is also fine being home alone part of the day, patiently waiting to celebrate your coming home. Bram is a buoyant, bouncy, energetic personality, an ebullient, intelligent, joyous boy. He is not breed standard, is slightly larger, and is the rougher coat variety--not accepted in the show ring (we don't care :o). Bram is not a candidate for a jogging or hiking partner or a two story home with long staircases, as his legs are simply too short. Bram is house-trained, non-destructive, neutered, micro-chipped, de-wormed, all vaccinations; med records current. He is only adoptable to homes in the Southern California area. UPDATE: For now Bram is sponsorship only. He has been undergoing therapy treatments for his back, and uses a cart and a walkabout harness for his rear-end so that hopefully the muscles can be strengthened and he can walk again. To sponsor Bram, please contact: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (also our Paypal donation/sponsorship email address)

Story
Hello there! Cap'n Crunch here! So nice to meet you! You might notice when you meet me that I have 3 1/2 legs. My back leg is a stump. Can't remember what happened but it is what it is. Multiple docs have checked me out and said I get around fine and need to stay trim and on good food and supplements to keep me in shape but besides that I am a happy and healthy dude! I am fostered with two small dogs. I like car rides. I can do short walks for now. Can't wait to meet you! *please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. www.apurposefulrescue.org
