Story
Lily is a very well behaved girl that needs a home that's child free. We had a baby 11 months ago and despite our best efforts she's just not liking having a baby around. She loves other animals, going to dog parks, playing tug, getting 2 walks a day, getting pets and lots of affection. She's very athletic and loves going on hikes and chasing the fastest dogs at the dog park - she's very playful. She's never shown any aggression towards other animals. A perfect home for her would include another dog to keep her company. She seems quite depressed with us a lot of the time because shes home alone while we're at work and now the baby takes the remainder of our time. She's fully vaccinated and spayed. She is a good eater and follows basic commands well. She's 4 years, 10 months old.

Story
Willow / Myakka City Available for adoption www.VIPRESCUE.org Breed: Standard Poodle Age: 2.5 yr DOB 1-13-2023 Sex: Female Weight: 50 lb Color: White Gets along with DOGS: Yes Gets along with Cats: No Kids: Respectful 13+ with dog experience Fenced Yard: Yes, 6 ft or higher secured fenced in yard is required. Meet Willow, a super friendly, 2 1/2 year old 50lb. girl that acts like your typical 2 year old standard poodle, active and on the go! Her ideal home would consist of active adults who can commit to several walks or a run, and games at least a couple times a day. We think Willow could do great at something like FastCat ( a timed 100 yard dash for dogs where they chase a lure down a straight course) or agility. We recommend that there be no young children, tiny dogs, or cats in the home because littles move quickly and startle her, and she’s also not aware of her size and can play a little rough. She’d love a committed family who is able to do more training with her. She is smart as a whip and has a ton of potential. Although friendly, she is a little skittish at first but does warm up and it will take a couple of days for her to get used to her new family and surroundings, so Willow’s new home must have the time and patience with her. Willow is great on a leash, and is always up for adventures. She has been taken to busy activities and does well. She also does well with other dogs medium size and larger. She’s doing well with training and knows sit, stay, come, fetch, hoop (jump through) and again, would benefit with some additional training both mentally and physically to help burn off some of her high energy. She loves to play outside, she gets the zoomies and loves to play with and in water. Willow’s new home is required to have at least a 6ft or higher secured fenced in yard, sorry, there are no exceptions, because this is what she needs due to her energy level and safety. Willow is very playful, however she does get fearful with strangers at first (barks and backs away) until she feels comfortable. One more thing to consider if you’re interested in adopting this fabulous gal, is the cost of grooming. She’ll require regular Grooming, which can be costly, so please keep that in mind as part of your budget. Willow is completely housebroken, spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and is on heartworm and flea prevention as well. So, what do you think? Do you have the time, patience and energy to keep up with our amazing Willow? If you’d like to add her to your family, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. *** Willow is fostered in MYAKKA CITY, FL. You must travel to MYAKKA CITY to meet Willow and bring any other pets and residents you have for the meeting. If you would like more information on Willow, or to be considered for adoption, you must complete an adoption application at www.viprescue.org. Our volunteer will contact you once your application is approved. We are unable to respond to your emails and messages without you first completing an adoption application. **ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS** You must be a Florida resident and a homeowner, be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care.If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 12-15 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan. If you want more info or would like to meet Willow, please complete an adoption application at www.viprescue.org. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio on the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. VIP Rescue Inc. Story
Meet Cookie, a delightful 2-year-old Frenchie/Chihuahua mix with a big personality packed into a small, 10 lb adorable frame! This spunky little girl is the perfect blend of playful and sweet—always curious about the world and ready for her next adventure. Cookie adores her toys and can entertain herself for hours, but she’ll happily remind you when it’s time for your turn to play (a gentle nose boop is her favorite way to say, “Hey, pay attention to me!”). Though she can be a bit shy when meeting new people, Cookie warms up quickly and soon reveals her goofy, affectionate side. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would love a furry friend to romp around with. Fully vetted—spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on preventative—Cookie is ready to start her next chapter with a family who will cherish her lively spirit and loving heart. Story
Meet Cricket – The Sweetest Snuggle Bug Around! This beautiful 3-year-old girl is an absolute lovebug whose favorite thing in the world is a good belly rub! Once she knows you, she’ll happily curl up in your lap for cuddles and naps. Cricket loves to play and would thrive in a home with another friendly dog around her age to keep her company. She’s still regaining her confidence after spending time in the shelter, so she’ll need a patient, gentle family to help her continue to blossom. Give her about a week, and you’ll have a loyal shadow who wants nothing more than to be by your side. Cricket is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and about 90% house-trained — just a little fine-tuning left! 💛 Adoption fee: $450 If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who just needs a soft place to land, Cricket will fill your home with love. Story
Hi everyone. Meet stormy. She is a 2 1/2-year-old hound mix. She is up to date on her vaccinations and spayed. Littles is unfortunately looking for her forever, loving home. Her owner, and dear friend of ours, passed away four months ago unexpectedly. Her best friend has been fostering Littles since our incredible loss. There are four resident dogs in her home that do not take kindly to Littles, so she has been staying in the spare room. Our amazing friend rotates Littles and her dogs throughout the day, so she still gets her cuddles and playtime. This is not a fair situation for Littles. She deserves her forever, loving home and humans. Littles is crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, very sweet, and likes her cuddle time. She loves her exercise, so fenced back yard would be best for her. She has not been cat tested. She has not been around small children as of yet.
