Story
All Southern Crescent Canine Rescue pets are spayed or neutered, all vaccinations are up to date, heartworm negative, and microchipped. We suggest follow-up intestinal worming two weeks after adoption.  We require monthly heartworm preventive after adoption!Sweet as Honey, this girl is looking for her happily ever after. Honey is a 1 year old sweetheart believed to be a shepherd/lab mix. At 40 lbs, she is a great size. Honey is good with other dogs, and children who are old enough to know how to treat a dog. She’s a happy girl and would be fun to train…possibly an agility dog! She would be a great hiking and/or running companion. Honey is an athletic girl, and is able to jump a fence, so she will need to be supervised outside, even in a fenced area. Honey will be happy with plenty of opportunity for fun exercise, along with human and dog interaction. She is housetrained, crate trained, good on leash and loves her people! Honey prefers a home with another fun dog. If Honey sounds like a fit in your home, please contact Cathy at 770-355-6054 or catbreedlove@comcast.net                                  'We Are Rescue' Until you have held a tiny puppy in your arms as it kissed your face with slobbery puppy breath and felt the love, Until you have held an injured or severely ill dog in your arms and felt their pain, Until you have looked into the eyes of a tired aging senior dog and felt their wisdom, And until you have seen and understood the look in your dogs eyes that tell you their time on earth with you is over .... and you humanely let them go, You will never understand the life of a rescuer. We find beauty in the most incomprehensible places and the otherwise homely faces. It is our gift to see beyond the dirt, terror, sadness and defeat and find the true soul that lies within. Gus is so shiny you are gonna need shades!  He is a very sensible puppy with huge potential.  He is super smart and very willing to listen, focus, and please.  Training is a breeze with him.  Great on leash, almost totally housebroken, great in crate.  He is gentle, but has lots of puppy energy. so a fenced yard is a must.  Loves toys and playing.  Great with other dogs, too. Because of his puppy energy, older kids are the best fit.  Loves being part of a family, and thrives with attention.  This is a great puppy, and it's an honor to offer him for adoption to the best home!                                   'We Are Rescue' Until you have held a tiny puppy in your arms as it kissed your face with slobbery puppy breath and felt the love, Until you have held an injured or severely ill dog in your arms and felt their pain, Until you have looked into the eyes of a tired aging senior dog and felt their wisdom, And until you have seen and understood the look in your dogs eyes that tell you their time on earth with you is over .... and you humanely let them go, You will never understand the life of a rescuer. Story
June is a very sweet and loving dog. We adopted her from the pound when she was a puppy about 2 years ago. She is an outdoor dog who is crated at night. She is crate trained. I have been told she would make a great indoor dog. June has always been good around my children and other dogs. June however does not do so well around chickens.

Story
Boss is a wonderful dog. He is 60-70 pound one year old whom my son brought to stay at my home while he was in College. My son left and went back to school and I am unable to keep him here. I have my grand baby part time and I work full time and have no time to provide care or time for him. Boss is a good dog who loves to run and play. He has a lot of energy and needs to be around children who can provide that for him. I love my fur baby and feel so guilty for not having the time. He deserves a good home and I’m hoping someone can take good care of him.
