Story
All Southern Crescent Canine Rescue pets are spayed or neutered, all vaccinations are up to date, heartworm negative, and microchipped. We suggest follow-up intestinal worming two weeks after adoption.  We require monthly heartworm preventive after adoption!Hazel is a beautiful Lab mix, about a year old, 50 pounds.  She loves playing with other dogs, and tennis balls are her favorite toy.  She is quiet and intelligent, but still a bit of a goof.  She is very devoted to her family, and loves attention. Loves, loves cushy beds and lounging.  Very affectionate, and will nudge your hand for attention.  She is housebroken, crate-trained, and easy on the leash.  This lovely lady is a perfect family pet, and really perfect in every way!  Here's a beautiful dog with her training and manners in place.  Worthy of your consideration!                                   'We Are Rescue' Until you have held a tiny puppy in your arms as it kissed your face with slobbery puppy breath and felt the love, Until you have held an injured or severely ill dog in your arms and felt their pain, Until you have looked into the eyes of a tired aging senior dog and felt their wisdom, And until you have seen and understood the look in your dogs eyes that tell you their time on earth with you is over .... and you humanely let them go, You will never understand the life of a rescuer. We find beauty in the most incomprehensible places and the otherwise homely faces. It is our gift to see beyond the dirt, terror, sadness and defeat and find the true soul that lies within. We suggest follow-up intestinal worming two weeks after adoption.  We require monthly heartworm preventive after adoption! He's a sweet friendly boy and he comes when he's called. Apartment living is not for him, he howls quite loudly he sounds like he's an old man when he howls. He lets you know when he needs to go to the bathroom when he's being crated. I don't think he'd do well in a home where the family is gone for 8 hours every day. I think he would be great with kids and he does play nice with the female dogs. He tries to dominate the males but he gets put in his place. He's a great little dog. He really enjoys spending most of his time outside in the backyard playing. He probably never got a chance to do so.   Contact Claudette=skabeagle@gmail.com for more info and meeting! Story
Both dogs are siblings and are a year old as of this month (March). Have gotten rabies shots and will be due the 3 year in January, 2025. Both very loving dogs. Mom is just dog but dad is Texas Heeler (full blooded). Lovey Girl, black and white app 20 lbs.) had to be brought inside because siblings dogs were attacking her as a puppy. Lolita (Lita) is sibling who was never given away. Very happy spending day inside during the winter in front of the heat, or on the furniture and in the summer spending the days in the pond in the pasture since they are double coated and Middle Ga is HOT in the summer. Very loving dogs, just want to be petted and given LOTS of treats. Can sit on command and will not take treats until told to TAKE. Use Pee Pee pads when inside. Do love being outside and lying in the sun when they can. As an aside, I have 7 3 month old puppies with same parents that also need to go. Males and females and all different colorations.

Story
Lita is a very loving and calm one year old female. She is more than happy to just lie around the house and wait for treats. She knows to sit before she gets a treat and knows to wait until you tell her to "take" before taking the treat. She is good with kids and has been around them ever since she was born. Also have 7 puppies that are 4 months old that need too be rehomed. They are the Texas Heeler/Dog mix. By court order, stating I have too many animals, all my dogs have to be rehomed or destroyed by 5-1-2024.
