Zuko is a five year old mastiff lab mix. He’s very well mannered and listens well. He’s housebroken and crate trained. He is okay with other dogs and cats. If you’re considering Zuko as an option to the family, please remember he is an extra large dog and needs someone strong enough to handle him. He’s a very sweet boy and is looking for someone who can give him all of the treats, head scratches, and belly rubs he desires. Please note that he is not good with kids.

I found Cash starving on the side of the road in February of 2024. He has since gained a ton of weight! He is smart, loving, wants to please and gets along with other dogs and is people friendly. He is crate trained and loves to sit in the sun and play with toys. I found a female Black Mouth Cur around the same time and they LOVE each other and play very well together. If for any reason he was adopted and did not work out I would insist you return him to me as he deserves to have a permanent and loving home.

Leo came into my life unexpectedly after a friend asked me to care for him for 30 days while they got on her feet but after a few weeks, they let me know they could no longer keep him and asked me to drop him off at a shelter. Not wanting him to be completely abandoned, I instead decided to foster him and cover all expenses to care for him until I could find him a good home. Leo is 1 years old, born in May of last year, and is a very loyal, loving, playful, affectionate dog but can also be very territorial, reactive and somewhat aggressive due to anxiety. Leo has not been properly socialized so unfortunately he does not do well with other dogs or strangers. My hope is to find a loving home with patient owners who have the time and resources to give him the life he deserves.

Max is an energetic dog who needs an active home. He loves running, hiking, and outdoor adventures, and the moment you say “run,” he’ll start bouncing around with excitement. After plenty of exercise, he’s a sweetheart who is happy to relax by your side for the rest of the day. We’re making the difficult decision to rehome him because my son has moved out, and I’m no longer able to give Max the activity he needs. He would thrive with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and can keep up with his energy. Meet Asher! Asher is an approximately 1-year-old parti Standard Poodle, about 45 lbs, and still very much a puppy! He’s friendly, affectionate, and full of playful energy—he just needs a little help remembering not to give enthusiastic “poodle hugs.” He’s housetrained, crate trained, and settles well in his crate, where he sleeps through the night. Asher loves to chew (durable toys only!) and enjoys puzzle feeders and enrichment. He gets along well with dogs his size and energy level. Asher is an active dog who needs a fenced yard, daily exercise, and plenty of mental stimulation. He’s not a couch potato and would thrive with an active family or in dog sports like agility or nosework. If he’s your only dog, he’ll need consistent activity and engagement. Because of his puppy energy, no small dogs or children under 10. He’s smart, eager to learn, and responds well to positive reinforcement—he already knows “sit” and “shake”! Asher will require professional grooming every 6–7 weeks, and his adopters should be prepared for that commitment. He’s continuing to work on leash skills and will benefit from ongoing training. Atlanta-area adopters only (home visit required).
