Story

Tugboat is a 12 to 14-year-old Chihuahua who was rescued from a kill shelter. He does have skin allergies and has to get allergy shots. I've had his teeth cleaned and he is up to date on shots. Tugboat is awesome with kids, cats and dogs. He is 100% house trained. He is leash trained. He loves to ride in the car, sit with you on the sofa, and sleep in the bed with you. This dog will go anywhere you want to go! He has been on the tube rafting down a river, shopping at home Depot, hiking, you name it. He does it. He does not act his age. His age is a guestament we are not really sure. He does require a premium food and someone who is home all the time. Another small dog would be great. He does not like being left alone. I'm only rehoming this dog because his companion passed away last November and since then I have also gotten a job to where he is left home alone a lot. I never worked away from home when I had him before. I have always worked at home.

Great with other dogs and cats. Quiet and gentle. Will bark when it's time to go outside LOL my mother is elderly no longer able to care for her. She is 10 years old. No adoption fee.

She adored her “dog brother” Tank and often followed his lead, even if she didn’t quite match his boundless energy. Athena would be a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a loyal, loving, and easygoing best friend.
