Meet Bolt! Bolt is a sweet, loving 2½-year-old boy who loves to play and does well with a smaller dog. He came to me when an older family member could no longer care for him. I believed it would be temporary, but unfortunately, she is no longer able to take him back. When Bolt came to me, he had never received proper veterinary care and was heartworm positive. I made sure he received the treatment he needed, and his heartworms have been taken care of. He also has an appointment to be neutered, and I will cover that cost if he is adopted before his appointment. Bolt is such a good boy, and this is not something I ever planned on doing. I work 16-hour days and travel frequently, so I simply cannot give him the time and attention he deserves. I want to find Bolt a loving, permanent home where he can play, be loved, and be part of a family. He deserves that!

Harley is a social butterfly who loves kids and people and truly never meets a stranger. She enjoys car rides, walks beautifully on a leash, and is crate trained. Harley has been raised around cats, kittens, and other dogs, and she’s been exposed to cows, pigs, and a large goat with no issues. She has not been around chickens, so she’ll need supervision in that area. She would thrive in an active home where she gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. Harley enjoys chewing and benefits from supervision and appropriate chew toys. She loves toys, bones, and has a naturally happy, gentle nature. Harley is fully vetted and ready to find her forever family. Dogs and puppies are spayed or neutered, Heartworm negative, microchipped, appropriately vaccinated and treated for parasites. We got Waddles from PAWS in Anderson.We believe she is an Akbash or shorthaired Great Pyrenees.She needs a lot of attention from her caregivers.SHE WILL NOT WORK IN AN APARTMENTShe barks...loud.She NEEDS a big house/big FENCED IN yard!She will pull HARD on walks.She needs someone with EXPERIENCE or PATIENCE!!She is extremely hyper.She loves peanut butter filled toys.She believes she is a lap dog.She constantly gives kisses and hugs.She knows- sit, lay down, paw, stay, speak (mistake), and roll over.She acts deaf to those commands.She is EXTREMELY INDEPENDANT!!!Absolutely food driven.Loves children but they make her VERY EXCITED! So caution to little ones.Loves our German Shepard, but does not understand BOUNDARIES!NEEDS PROPER TRAININGWe are not asking for the rehoming fee for financial gain, but to weed out people who don't know if they are sure about taking in a dog like Waddles.
