Story
Meet Leelo, formerly Leeloo from the Athens Area Humane Society! Leeloo was adopted out earlier this year, and after escaping from her owner's house they chose to let me find her a better fit. Leelo is 1-2 years old and full of wiggly puppy love. She seems to be completely house-trained (no accidents since we've had her) and enjoys laying on her bed with a bone, but is also happy to meet a new friend at any opportunity. We believe that she would be great with another dog, but we haven't gotten the opportunity to test it yet. Cats do not seem to be on the table for her, though, and will not hesitate to let you know when she sees one. Leelo is not leash-trained, so this will need to be a priority for her if you do not have a fenced-in area to let her out for bathroom breaks. However she is a very smart girl and will be a quick learner! Leelo will come with a Martingale collar, leash, velcro coat, dog bed, and food.

Story
I got Mimi from a flea market, she’s never had worms and she is the sweetest thing ever, she loves to play, eat, and cuddle. I wouldn’t say I really know if she’s potty trained completely. I got her July 5th, and since they never told me Mimi’s birthday, that’s her birthday for me now :) Mimi should be around 8 months. she is pretty small, I was told she is mixed with some type of husky? Mimi needs a home where she can play with others and be taken care of.

Story
Luna is a very loving and wants nothing more than to love on you. She was a rescue at 6 months old. Luna likes long walks and loves to run. She got out one November and we thought something happened to her after a month. We ended up getting a female Great Pyrenees puppy and required another Pyr from the shelter. Then 18 months later out of the blue Luna shows up at the shelter in Barrow County. We love having Luna but having 2 large dogs and her has been tough. She doesn’t get along with the female and there have been multiple altercations. We want all the dogs to live their best lives and want to find Luna a good home. The Pyrs both came to us as puppies so we are all they know. Breaks my heart but I know Luna will love whoever she ends up with and is nothing but a joy. She loves to cuddle and always has a goofy grin on her face. She also talks sometimes and says, “I Love You”. She does well with male dogs and dogs around the same size as here. Let us know if you have any questions!

Story
We found Xixi (pronounced zhi-zhi, or gigi,) in dire need of a home. Her and her littermates were abandoned, and they needed rehousing asap. We took her in, but as a busy college student who has plans to soon study abroad, I dont have a sustainable way to keep her. She is about 4 1/2 months old. She was malnourished and had worms when we got her, but she is healthy and robust after proper vet care and nourishing food the past 3 months. She picked up the basics of potty training and house living in a shockingly short amount of time. She is incredibly clever and easy to train with food. Already she is mostly potty trained with only one accident in the past month, and can follow basic commands such as "out," "sit," "wait," and "here." She is a high energy dog, but about an hour or more of focused play a day has kept her happy and healthy. She is not aggressive whatsoever but she is slightly mischievous. loves apples and ice. Her name is short for "hope" in chinese. Im not asking for $.
