He’s friendly with new people, goofy, loving, and instantly charming — the kind of dog who wins hearts without even trying. He’s good with other dogs and does great in playgroups at doggy daycare. Rambo reads canine cues well, plays appropriately, and enjoys being part of the fun. A true ball dog and water lover, Rambo likes to swim, fetch, and play with toys. He’s also learned how to entertain himself nicely — give him toys, a bone, or a chew, and he’ll happily focus on that, content to play on his own. Like many young dogs, he may chew toys that aren’t his if given the chance, so durable chews and hard toys are his favorites. Despite his playful energy, Rambo has a great off-switch. When it’s time to relax, he’s right there beside you — curled up on the couch, leaning in close, and soaking up all the cuddles. He’s truly a big cuddle bug. Rambo is housetrained, leash trained, crate trained, and does well in the car. He walks nicely on a leash, has excellent recall to his name, and even runs to his crate at mealtime. He’s completed 8 weeks of basic puppy classes and continues building great manners through regular doggy daycare. Rambo is great with adults. He’s been comfortable with older children overall, and like many dogs he can be a little cautious with unfamiliar appearances, so gentle introductions with new kids are recommended. He does not need a fenced yard, making him a great fit for a family committed to regular walks, playtime, and enrichment. Intelligent, eager to please, affectionate, independent, obedient, even tempered, playful, and gentle, Rambo has a wonderful mix of fun-loving energy and sweet companionship.
