Story
Kilo's story begins with a lovely owner who unfortunately passed when Kilo was only 2. From there, he went to a shelter where he seemed to get along fine with other dogs, then was adopted by a family who had a few dogs of their own that did not get along with Kilo. That's when and why he came to us, and once he was in our home he had officially loathed other dogs and would try to attack them. We have worked on this for the last few years with minimal progress, but still progress. He should not be in a home with or unleashed around other dogs, but he can finally run the fence line happily with our neighbors dogs. Kilo is terrified of rain/storms (he hides in the bathtub), we believe he's allergic to chicken & it's byproduct (itchy skin, irritation, and ear infections went down significantly when we switched his food), and he has low-level separation anxiety (he doesn't eat or drink when we aren't home). He is a very good boy, and he deserves a home better than we can now give him.

Story
Kinoko means mushroom. She was a stray in St. Louis County rescued by CARE STL. They estimate she was 3 at that time. She's approximately 5 now. She was on a Gabapentin prescription when we first got her to ease the transition. She has been hostile to house guests and needs to be put away when strangers are around. She has mixed results with other dogs so she doesn't go to the dog park. She has lived with a male Maltipoo for 2 years and was hostile at first, but within 24 hours accepted whatever horseplay he tries to do. She is not a bothersome dog. She is content to sit all day in her selected spot. Attempts to move this spot have failed. She barks rarely, when she smells or sees danger. She's been known to cower in the presence of dumptrucks and their associated dumpsters. She needs at least 2 walks a day and even if she refuses to move, is the best way to bond with her. She needs a resilient love and every chance to pet her should be taken even if she sorta turns away.

Story
He is s very good dog. He is great with other dogs and great with kids! As much as we want to keep him life have gotten really busy with all of our kids extra curriculars and sports. He is in his kennel more times than not and we hate that for him. He is kennel trained. He needs to be in kennel if your away as he does like to chew on things/eat things, especially kids socks! He has allergies which do cause him to lose some hair on his rear end. We are pretty sure we have narrowed down to a chicken/poultry allergy so have been feeding him lamb food and it has seemed to help alot!

Story
Rebel is my best friend in the world and I love her with all of my heart. I have had her for 8 years and she has been there for me through it all. I am moving out of the country next month and would love to take her with me- but it will not be practical or good for her in the long run. I am hoping to find a home for her where she could have a yard and/or go for walks with someone (she lovvvves walks) and I would be happy to help pay for expenses indefinitely. Rebel loves all people and she is a big cuddler. She has no health problems and is a very happy girl. She gets along with SOME other dogs… but not all. She was attacked by an escaped dog, so she usually gets scared of other dogs at first, and then if she meets them and trusts them, she does okay with them and will even cuddle with them and play. Please let me know if you may be interested in having this sweet girl in your life. Even a temporary foster would be great so I have some more time to find a permanent home. Thank you.

Story
Vanjie is a beagle-bull, maybe 6 years old. She is a sweetie who loves to sleep in bed with whoever wants her there. Vanjie is crate trained. She is used to having a backyard to run around in, but also enjoys walks. In terms of any special needs, half the food I give her is the dry food designed for joint support. Looking for an adoption around end of the month.
