Story
This is Truman (or as his foster mom likes to call him, Tu-tu)Truman is a sweet senior boy who joined the DRHS back at the beginning of January - he was in a group who arrived in rough condition, both emotionally and physically, not knowing what it was to live in a stable, home setting. Fast forward to today: Truman is ready to find a forever home! 8 years young and weighing in at approx. 14lbs, Truman can be described as curious, sensitive, loving, and resilient. He had all his teeth removed after dental examination and has been healing wonderfully, thoroughly enjoying his wet food diet. Truman loves other dogs and would LOVE a home where he can have a patient, polite canine playmate to help him continue learning how to `dog` properly - Truman can sometimes lack personal space/an understanding for when a dog has had enough of him, so emphasis on patient.Same goes for what he`s looking for in human parents: he is still learning basic dog things but is making progress every single day in his foster home. Potty training is having forward motion and crate training is coming along great - Truman likes a cozy, covered space to call his own. As you would imagine, Truman takes a little bit of time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he is the most affectionate, snuggly little guy. The best is when he gets a kick of energy and zips around, tail wagging 100 miles a minute. With this new chapter of his life, Truman hopes for a quiet home with lots of affection, patience, and stability. If you`ve been wanting to have a giant impact on a shelter animal`s life, look no further than this stinker.
