Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Covington, KY Meet Maxwell! He is a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd and weighs 53 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Maxwell is nervous around children! No cats, due to his reactivity! He doesn’t live with another dog but is good with dogs outside of the home. He can be anxious when left alone. The owner is surrendering him because they are unable to provide the time and attention that he needs. He also doesn’t get along with the cat. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Maxwell, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Maxwell. Owner’s Contact Information: Ben ella.mahar@gmail.com

Story
Meet Penelope Penelope is a sweet foxhound/collie mix about a year old and roughly 55 lbs. She requires a secure fence and any walk should be on a leash. She is very affectionate and great for someone who runs/walks daily. She is smart and would be very easily trained with a little effort. She would do well in a house with older children. Penelope doesn't bark much and her coat is low maintenance with little shedding. Can you open your heart to this sweet girl? Our rescue organization adopts within the following states: Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana and Missouri. Story
Meet Liz your future House Hippo! Liz is just under 2 years old and is the definition of sweet, squishy, and soulful. She came into the shelter with her two puppies, and while they were rescued quickly, Liz had to wait her turn. Now its her time to be chosen. Liz is currently fostered with other dogs and cats. She can be picky with her adult canine friends but seems to really love puppies. Liz is gentle and respectful with all of the farm animals shes met thus far (chickens, bunnies, goats, and llamas); She gives a quick sniff and happily goes on her way. Liz is doing great with housetraining and is learning that her crate is her safe place. Shes eager to please, but her favorite skill by far is professional-level couch snuggling. If youre sitting down, shes already planning how to join you. Shes calm, loving, and endlessly affectionate. Liz doesnt need chaos or constant action. She just wants a safe home, a soft couch, and people to love. If youve been looking for the perfect low-key cuddle buddy, Liz might just be your girl. The best house hippo, waiting patiently for her forever... Liz has completed her vet care (spay, vaccines, microchip) and cannot wait to meet you! Her adoption fee is $250. If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll be in touch ASAP! A meet with any approved applicant's current pets and entire family will be required prior to starting the 2-week adoption trial period. Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

We have had Milo since he was 10 weeks old. He is a mini Bernadoodle that isn’t expected to get much larger than 25 lbs. He will be one on November 29th. He is high energy and needs someone that can give him the time and attention he needs. Amazing dog but our schedules will just not allow us to care for him like we should.

Story
FEMALE ADOPTER ONLY*** Buddy is a lover.....if you are a female he will give you his heart.....Want a fellow that's housetrained? He's got it covered. This fellow can snuggle up to you and make you really smile.... He's not pushy about it....He just has a great way with the ladies... He's also voice trained....so when you talk to him, its as though he really understands. Buddy will develop a bond like no other. He's okay being alone for several hours and never tears up anything or soils his surroundings. He is not a barker either....though he does whine some when youre on the other side of the door. He does great with female dogs as companions too ( small like him) but he'd rather not have to negotiate a toy with a male dog....Buddy is gentle and sweet until another dog growls at him, then he will defend himself. He may not be good with other farm animals is his one drawback...he watches them closely through the fence...but right now the roo has a fence between them...so youd never know how it would go....... He's a type of dog that really becomes your soulmate...Want to meet this special fellow? Complete and enter an application,...we will contact you and schedule a meet n greet. https://www.kentuckydachshundrescue.com/adoption-process
