Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Covington, KY Meet Maxwell! He is a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd and weighs 53 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Maxwell is nervous around children! No cats, due to his reactivity! He doesn’t live with another dog but is good with dogs outside of the home. He can be anxious when left alone. The owner is surrendering him because they are unable to provide the time and attention that he needs. He also doesn’t get along with the cat. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Maxwell, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Maxwell. Owner’s Contact Information: Ben ella.mahar@gmail.com

Story
Anya is a 2-year-old, 42 lb Bully-Boston Terrier mix with the sweetest soul and the perfect mix of playful energy and gentle affection. She came from the streets of Kentucky, ending up in an overcrowded shelter before Saved By Fate Rescue stepped in to give her the second chance she truly deserved. Anya is loving, gentle, and playful. She adores being near her person but also enjoys playing with other dogs. She takes corrections well, loves to zoom around the yard, and shows no signs of resource guarding. (She just eats fast so a slow feeder bowl is recommended!) Shes done great with other dogs and was cat-tested with good results. While she hasnt been officially kid-tested yet, her calm nature and gentle way of taking treats suggest shed do very well with respectful children. Anya walks nicely on leash once she settles from her initial excitement, and she knows sit. Shes potty-trained, spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Anya would thrive in many types of homes whether with another friendly dog or as a solo companion. She doesnt require a fenced yard, as shes perfectly content with walks and time by your side. If youre looking for a sweet, affectionate, and fun-loving companion to share your days with, Anya might just be your perfect match. Her adoption fee is $250. If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll be in touch ASAP. A meet with any approved applicant's current pets and entire family will be required prior to starting the 2-week adoption trial period.   Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Meet Adeline, aka "Addie, a petite and playful pup who will melt your heart with her warm personality and expressive ears. This sweet, soft faced girl is house trained and crate trained. Photos don't show how truly little this lady is! If you are someone who values a restful evening, she's your girl. She'll cozy up with you under a blanket if you invite her up to "cuddle" but also knows "night night time" and will sleep with her own blanket in her covered crate all night long. She even appreciates extra beauty sleep in the mornings. Adeline enjoys having her own bed amongst the human furniture and will happily play with her toys and roll around there, instead of her human's furniture. Sitting nicely at the door is Adeline's que for you to open it. She's in the habit of grabbing her leash to lead her human to her favorite potty spots. Chasing bugs gives her so much joy, and she has found using her mouth for further exploration of things like leaves and sticks most satisfying. Adeline is a big baby at heart and has really blossomed with consistency. She is still learning to feel safe and secure while alone. She'd likely do best with someone who works from home and understands her need for reassurance and can help her further build that confidence. Adeline loves to play fetch and is learning to respond to cues like "leave it", "bring it", and "release". She's a quick learner and enjoys pleasing her humans, especially when the occasional treats are involved. She understands "sit", "down", "shake", and "spot". She is beginning to master "wait" and "okay", especially when it comes to leaving the house or eating the meal you've put down for her. She is good company in the kitchen and loves the occasional ice cube! She enjoys car rides very much and is comfortable in her seat belt harness. Adeline is growing more confident every day. She loves attention and affection and has shown a desire to have a play buddy. She has done well with other dogs of all sizes. She is just a happy-go-lucky playful cuddle bug. If you're looking for a loving companion, who follows you around the house, "Addie" might just be the perfect fit! Adeline has completed her vet care (spay, vaccines, and microchip) and can't wait to meet you! Her adoption fee has been FULLY SPONSORED ($0) by a generous donor! If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll be in touch ASAP. A meet with any approved applicant's current pets and entire family will be required prior to starting the 2-week adoption trial period.
