Story
TEDDY is a purebred dachshund registered with CKC. He has lived his life as a breeder dog where he was not allowed the usual occurrences of being a “ special someone” in his own private home. Things are about to change for Teddy and for the better in every instance. When he is neutered male dominance will subside. Having only known his main importance was being the breeder for many years, he will begin to adjust to relaxing days with his family, naps on winter days and dreams of chasing birds come spring...Teddy is also shy at heart . If he is startled occasionally he would nip ...His new family will always understand they should approach and speak to him to avoid surprising him. Teddy would love to be chosen for himself and not have to compete with other dogs for attention...Actually, he’s had enough of all the dogs he’s had to contend with in his life, and it's no wonder he’s ready to retire..Dachshunds at his age, which is human age 48, are middle-aged. He knows what he wants and when he wants it, like all men. Teddy is pad-trained , which is a great asset with cold weather coming on. He has been allowed freedom to run free in the house when the family is home, but left in one gated room when the family is Show more How To Adopt TEDDY PIEBAL... was listed as Adoptable by Kentucky Dachshund Rescue How can I adopt TEDDY PIEBAL...? He is so adjustable too...does not matter, male or female, young or old, and he can be a real snuggler. He really needs a playmate ( doggie type). This young fellow has lots of energy but he's soooo sweet and loveable too. Chihuahua's are well known for their attachment to their families, their short coats make them hypo allergenic and Ive heard they are great family members to folks that have asthma...All that good in one little package of about 8 lb... Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Covington, KY Meet Maxwell! He is a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd and weighs 53 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Maxwell is nervous around children! No cats, due to his reactivity! He doesn’t live with another dog but is good with dogs outside of the home. He can be anxious when left alone. The owner is surrendering him because they are unable to provide the time and attention that he needs. He also doesn’t get along with the cat. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Maxwell, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Maxwell. Owner’s Contact Information: Ben ella.mahar@gmail.com

Story
Just like her Friends namesake, Phoebe is vocal, independent, and full of personality in the very best way. Phoebe isnt shy about letting you know what she wantsshe loves to talk, talk back, and share her opinions with confidence. She has a more independent streak than some of her siblings and can be a little guarded when shes outside her comfort zone, taking time to observe and assess new situations. Once she feels safe, though, her affectionate side shines. She has a serious love for all things softblankets, beds, and anything she can burrow into are her happy place. And while she enjoys her independence, she also loves being picked up and given hugs, soaking up that one-on-one comfort when shes ready for it. Phoebe is also obsessed with playing with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion who can match her energy and help her feel confident. If youre looking for a pup with a little sass, a lot of charm, and a wonderfully unique personality, Phoebe is ready to sing her way straight into your heart. Phoebe will complete her vet care on February 24th in Lexington, KY. Her adoption fee is $300. If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll be in touch ASAP! A meet with any approved applicant's current pets and entire family will be required prior to starting the 2-week adoption trial period. Story
Ella is the total package: brains, beauty, and a whole lot of heart. At just a year and a half old, shes already mastered basic commands and the best part? You only have to ask once. Shes incredibly bright, food motivated, and genuinely wants to please her people. This sweet girl is people-friendly to her core. Shes loving, snuggly, and happiest when shes close to her humans. Whether its curling up on the couch or soaking up attention, Ella melts right into you. But dont let the cuddles fool you this girl has ENERGY. Ella loves to run, chase, and play fetch like its her full-time job. She adores wrestling and playing with her foster brother, Rocky, and would thrive with a canine companion (preferably male) who enjoys rough-and-tumble play. (She may be a little too enthusiastic for small dogs!) In her foster home, Ella: Sleeps soundly in her crate at night Is housebroken when kept on a schedule Is working on sharing toys (if she hasnt already shredded them) Is curious but respectful around cats, horses, donkeys, cows, and chickens Loves kids when out and about Ella would do best with an active family who will keep her mind and body busy think hikes, backyard fetch sessions, training games, and lots of interaction. Shes the kind of dog who bonds deeply and gives her whole heart to her people. If youre looking for a loyal best friend who can keep up with your adventures and then snuggle up at night, Ella might just be your girl! Ella will complete her vet care (spay, vaccines, microchip) on 2/19. Her adoption fee is $250.
