Story
Pure bed and papered silver lab. He's good with his adults. Does not like other people very aggressive. Lunged at our children. We love him but just can't keep him. Hopefully somebody can work with him. He needs a country home to run. Very aggressive towards new people or other animals. He is a year and half old. We very much want to keep him just can't fo it with him aggressive towards our kids and guests. I really do feel like if he had room to run in the country he'd be happy and turn onto a great dog.

Story
Lucy will be 3 in August. She has been a good family pet but due to me selling my house I must re-home her. She’s completely house broken. She only weighs about 30 pounds. She responds to voice and minds pretty well. She loves to run around and play fetch or tug a war with her ropes. She is very friendly and plays very well with other dogs, cats and children! She’s been raised indoors and loves to cuddle!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Brewser has been at my dads home for 7 years, he will need a tall fence or a tall run. At this time he is on a cable with a large shelter with two dogs houses. He doesn't mind other dogs but doesn't do well with cats. He came to my dads home as a young stray and has been socialized with different people and dogs. Shots as of last year were UTD, still looking for my dads records. Since my father passed away last week we are trying to get his dogs into good solid homes. Brewser is a big dog and will need someone who has mastiff/bully experience because he is strong. He Loves to ride in my dads truck and go for rides.

Story
Breed: orange and white hound Age: 2 ½ years old (1/27/21) Weight: 80 lbs Hazard is a super smart and energetic character. He loves to run around outside. He loves dogs and people. He can be a little weird about affection at first. He’s not a huge snuggler but he might surprise you once you get to know him. He loves booty pats, scratches, and walking between peoples legs. He’s come a long way with training, and he needs someone that can continue training with him. Above, I stated that he loves people and dogs, he does a bit too much. He is reactive when he sees something he can’t get to. He gets frustrated that he can’t be friends with everyone he sees. Hazard also has yet to grasp the fact that he’s 80 lbs, so, his spacial awareness is questionable to say the least. Overall he is the most amazing boy and has so much potential. He just needs someone that’s up for the challenge and has a backyard for him to run.

Story
Odie came to ARFF MO as a stray at 6 months of age. He is now 5 years old.  Odie knows how to sit and down on command, catch treats, and shake hands with you. Odie was never socialized with other dogs (likely weaned from his mama at 4 weeks of age) and he needs help with initial introductions by his handler. ARFF MO has worrked wth a trainer on teaching Odie to be calm around other dogs and he has made great strides. Odie has never been aggressive, rather he prefers to wrap his legs around a dog's neck and lick them in the face, which most dogs do not appreciate. He is a very high energy boy and some dogs are put off by his energy level. He would do best with someone experienced with working with strong dogs. He is a quick learner and is very "treat motivated". Odie would probably be best as the only dog unless someone wants to take the time to work with him and their other dog. Odie is  predatory with cats so he would need a home without them. He is also much too energetic to live with a small dog. Small children are out due to his energy level. Odie is crate trained and house trained. He loves to play with toys.Odie requires his adopter to own their own home and to have a very secure, fenced yard. Odie is a sweetheart of a dog that likes to snuggle. Odie had a torn ACL injury 3 years ago that has healed but he is on medication daily for arthritis from the injury. He does not let it slow him down and he is as active as ever.  If you think you'd be a good home for Odie please complete an adoption application on our website (www.arffmo.org).  Adoption Fee: $150.00 and a home visit is required before final approval. Odie needs to relocate close to the Columbia or Fayette area. Odie has lived with the founder of ARFF MO since he came into our rescue. and you will need to convince me that you can give him as good of care as he is getting here to own him. You will not find a more beautiful pit bull!January 22, 2023, 12:03 am
