Story
🌸 Meet Cricket! 🌸 This sweet little lady is ready to find her forever home! Cricket is a small mixed breed, weighing around 25 pounds — just the right size for snuggles, car rides, and being your constant companion. She’s about a year and a half old and already potty trained! Cricket has one gorgeous blue eye that makes her truly one of a kind. She’s incredibly lovable, adores kids and people, and gets along great with other dogs too. Wherever she goes, her gentle personality and happy tail win everyone over. 💕 Cricket came to us from Louisiana, where she was rescued from a kill shelter along with her two puppies. Her babies have already found their forever homes, and now it’s finally her turn to be the one who’s spoiled with love! She’s scheduled for her spay, which will be fully covered by the rescue. She’s also up to date on her vaccinations and all ready to meet her new family. Cricket’s story is one of second chances and unconditional love. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a heart of gold (and the prettiest blue eye you’ve ever seen!), Cricket could be your perfect match. 🩵🐶 Application to adopt https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/STRR/Dog

Story
💔 Meet Lucy — the little dog who still believes in love. 🐾 Lucy was found tied to a tree, her body showing she’d just had puppies. She’s estimated around 2 years old and still very much a puppy at heart, full of joy, curiosity, and hope. We believe Lucy was kept in a basement or garage before she was rescued. Because of that, she’s still learning her house manners, but she’s catching on quickly with consistency and patience. She’s such a smart, eager girl who just wants to make you proud. She is an absolute lover and snuggles up like a nice heated blanket 🐾 Lucy loves her chew toys — she keeps one in every room like little treasures she’s collected now that she finally has a safe place to call home. 🧸 She adores other dogs and will play with them all day long, and she’d love to be friends with cats too (though her excitement can be a bit much for some). After all she’s survived, Lucy deserves a family who will give her the love and security she’s been missing. She’s ready for her second chance — could it be with you? 💕

Story
🐾🖤 Meet Max! 🖤🐾 If you’re looking for a happy, playful pup with a heart full of love, Max might be your guy! Max is a young black Lab mix with an estimated date of birth of 12/12/24, and he’s already winning hearts everywhere he goes. Max is very playful and full of that fun, bouncy Lab energy. He absolutely loves to play fetch and would thrive in a home that enjoys interactive playtime and helping a young dog burn off his zoomies. After playtime, he’s more than happy to soak up attention and just be part of the family. 🐶💕 He does well around other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to play with. Max is also good with kids, but because of his youthful energy and enthusiasm, he would do best with older kids who won’t be easily knocked over during his excited moments. He is not aggressive at all—just a happy, energetic boy still learning his manners. Max seems to be mostly potty trained, which is a great start for a young pup! He isn’t a fan of being in a crate and will bark if crated, so a home willing to continue working with him on confidence and training (or that doesn’t require crating) would be ideal. As for cats, Max has met them and was actually scared—after one hissed at him, he decided cats were not his thing. Because of that, we’re listing him as unsure with cats for now, just to be safe. Max is up to date on vaccinations and neutered, so he’s all ready to head to his forever home. All he’s missing is a family who will love his playful spirit, continue his training, and give him the active, fun-filled life he deserves. Could Max be the perfect addition to your home? 🖤🐾

Story
✨ Meet Brynn ✨ Brynn is our big, beautiful buttercup with a heart as soft as her Great Dane/Mastiff fluff. This gorgeous girl may be large in size, but she is a gentle, wiggly sweetheart who truly just wants to feel safe, loved, and part of a family. Brynn’s estimated birthday is June 15, 2025. She is up to date on shots and is scheduled to be spayed, which will be fully covered by the rescue at Auglaize Animal Hospital in Wapakoneta. She does wonderfully with other dogs and will need to have another dog in the home, as she gains confidence and comfort from having a canine companion by her side 🐶💕 Because Brynn is a sensitive soul, she will need a home with no small children. Little kids make her extremely nervous and uncomfortable, and we want her placed in an environment where she can relax and thrive. She is naturally timid with new people, but with patience, kindness, and time, she slowly comes out of her shell and shows just how loving she truly is. Brynn does not like being crated. While she will tolerate it briefly, she has injured her nose trying to push or escape, so a home that does not rely heavily on crating would be ideal for her comfort and safety. She is still working on house training. Brynn will go outside, but she does not yet give clear signals when she needs to go out. If not watched closely, she will use a pee pad instead. With consistency, routine, and gentle guidance, she should continue to improve in this area. Once Brynn feels safe, her sweet personality shines—soft eyes, gentle snuggles, wiggly happiness, and quiet devotion. She truly wants to be someone’s loyal companion; she just needs the right home that understands her needs and is willing to give her the time and reassurance she deserves ❤️ If you’re looking for a big, gentle girl who will bond deeply with her people and canine sibling, Brynn might be your perfect match. Story
🐶💙 Meet Chief! 💙🐶 Chief is a handsome, medium-sized mixed breed, around 5–7 years old and weighing about 41 pounds. He is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccinations, and more than ready to find his forever home! Chief is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks nicely on a leash, making him an easy and enjoyable companion. He does well with most other dogs, but he can be selective about his canine friends. Because of this, Chief would do best in a home without dominant dogs. If there are other dogs in the home, we strongly recommend a meet and greet to ensure everyone is a good match. He is great with kids, but would do best in a cat-free home. This friendly boy loves to play with his chew toys and is always up for an adventure — especially if it involves a car ride! Chief has a wonderful balance of playful energy and laid-back charm, making him a great fit for an active family or someone looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion. If you’re ready to add tail wags, companionship, and unconditional love to your life, Chief may be your perfect match. 🐾 Adopt Chief through All Starr Pet Rescue today! 🐾

🐾💙 Meet Bear! 💙🐾 Meet Bear, a lovable large mixed breed with a heart as big as his size! 🐶✨ This gentle giant is the biggest sweetheart and a total meathead — he just wants to be wherever you are to soak up all the love and attention. 💕 Bear is good with kids, though he doesn’t always realize his size, so supervision is recommended. He’s very energetic and loves spending time outside playing with other dogs, exploring, and having fun in the sunshine. 🌞 This happy boy also loves car rides, does well on a leash, and enjoys learning new tricks — he sits for treats like a champ! He’s crate trained and almost fully potty trained, making him a great companion for a home ready for a big, loving dog. 🏡 Bear gets along well with cats, though he does enjoy playtime and will respond to a “no” command to redirect. He’s up to date on shots, neutered, and ready to find his furever home where he can share all his love and energy. Born around November 9, 2024, Bear is looking for a family that can match his playfulness, affection, and enthusiasm for life! 💙 Application to adopt https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/STRR/Dog #AdoptBear #RescueDog #BigLoveBigDog #AdoptDontShop #ForeverHome #GentleGiant #PlayfulPup
